I have an artist from Canada who will be touring Italy for his Hip-Hop tour. He will be stopping in Rome Feb 10 before heading to Milan. I will surely be sharing this with him. He was asking if i knew any good pizza in Rome! Great video find. Much love from Switzerland
Pizza in Rome is excellent. In my experience it's great all over. I've had Roscioli and loved it but the pizza al taglio in our area (Prati) was just as good. Also if you prefer Neapolitan style pizza, l'Antica Pizzeria Da Michele have three restaurants in Rome and they are rarely busy (compared to 2-3 hour wait time in Napoli) but the pizza is €12 instead of €5.
Fun review, but what is this new obsession with crust that doesn't collapse at the tip? I don't know about Rome, but in Naples, more and more pizza makers are catering to American taste. My idea of a Neapolitan pizza is a magical airy crust and soupy ingredients that require a knife and fork to eat. American's prefer eating without knife and fork, and so Roman style is on the rise, I guess.

How many grams is a normal portion? Asking for Americans
It depends how hungry you are, and what toppings are on your pizza - but Rob says about 150g is quite normal 🍕

Only the last was pizza . The others more like Panini and focaccia. Neapolitan is the best ))))

Forno Roscioli was fabulous! One place that also has a fantastic Margherita is Grazie a Dio è venerdi in Monti, Piazza degli Zingari.
