You realize the 2032/2038 series 2R tractor spec can be ordered with a 220R MSL loader with 1,377 LBS lift capacity that blows the three series capability out of the water.

The e stands for “economy”. I have a 2013 3032e with about 150 hours. If i knew then what i know now, i would buy the R. Ive had no problems, the r is just more solidly built. The e has an alloy rear axle for example. Also, i can easily exceed the loader capy on mine. In tractors, weight makes a difference. My E is about 1800 lbs if i recall...i bet that r is closer to 3000#.

R has aluminum alloy housing as well, its green instead of black.

Excellent comparison. If you can afford it, the r series is great. For us budget minded buyers the e series should be just fine. The 3025e is the one I'm getting. Seems like a great value.

Need some advice. Someone is selling me a 2020 jhon deere 2032E tractor with loader and box on the back, has 50 hours. Asking $20,000, is this a good or bad price?

do any of the 3 series tractor just have a selector for forward and reverse vice the 2 pedals?

That would be the D series. Manual transmission not a true shuttle but it has a forward/reverse stick on the steering column.

On the 3e I could not operate the dump or curl function at the same time as the lift or lower.. is the loader valve on the r solve this issue?
Can the 3e loader valve be upgraded to one that has
    More functionality?

Did you ever find out an answer? (I'm thinking about getting a 3025e)

2018 3025e owner here- I've never had an issue doing both at the same time. This is a common misconception and almost made me purchase a Kubota when I was in the market years ago. Not sure which green tractors can or can't do this, but mine can.

320r loader does both at same time

The 3R series tractors need a refresh much like the recent 2R series. The 2Rs include deluxe seat with hand rests, LED fender mounted lights, single rear SCV, with option for 4/5th, and power outlet. All JD Sub compacts, and compacts should come with the same layout of the 4 Series HD, and include a fender mounted snail throttle accelerator as on the 5Series. Do away with the three cylinder engines, and go to all inline fours. Standardize entry level as M, and full load Rs. Don’t need the shitty E series that come with zero features most people rely on.

How much are the 3033R tractors? What engine is in them? I read that they are not made by Yanmar anymore.

    • @hammondtractor
      @hammondtractor  5 років тому +3

They are Yanmar Motors. For Pricing you'll have to go to your local dealer as pricing can vary! Thank you for the comment!

I have several questions about the HST drive system but I’ll just start out with the rear diff lock. Apparently one engages the rear diff by lightly depressing the brake pedal. Does this mean that every time you apply the brakes the rear diff locks? Also, why is there only one brake pedal? Ever tractor I have driven (I am 63 and been on a farm all my life) have independent brakes.

    • @dav2386thor

@@offrodnolefmr7445 the 3e is only offered in hydrostatic and there is no brake pedal.

    If I understand correctly,
The R series won't come with the auto leveling loader feature.
    Is this still true ?

The R is SOOOO much better. I was going to buy a 32E, then I used one. My mind was changed instantly. Such an inferior product! It isn’t just a feature list change, the quality is different. As others have said, the R is SOLID.

The 3 'R' is the way to go...hands down...you'll regret buying the 'E' series , guaranteed.
