Hey, awesome video! Im saving up to buy one of these, the options i get here in Norway is 2l zetec 150hp or with a upgraded throttle body that gets you up to 170hp. So im wondering which did you have before mapping? 😁
@@torkington5 that's my exact setup and Northampton Motorsport mapped mine too, it's 171bhp I believe, think that's at the crank too rather than the wheels. I have a rolling road print out for mine showing that
Very nice drive :-) Not much of a "versus" in the corners ;-) What are the tyres? I've run my 1.8 Zetec Westfield more than 15 years now. Bombproof, cheap to run, more fun than any regular car.
Love it, that was so brilliantly funny. GTR and Porche drivers are thinking 'what is that thing behind me/us' 2 laps later 'did it just pass me/us, wtf????' and you vanish into the future. But I also saw something very strange, you overtaking an Atom. I thought those things were pretty much the fastest things on 4 wheels unless you have a billion pounds or something......though after seeing you eat a GT4 and GTR and spit out the bits i could be wrong. Love the sounds too, can tell when your on the throttle hard, gives me goosepimples
Thanks. In fairness I think the Atom was on a warm up lap. I can match the normally aspirated version, the supercharged are way quicker but usually find drivers aren’t always up to getting the best out of them lol.
@@torkington5 I've driven on quite a few track days and tried an Atom at an experience day once. It wasn't an easy car to get on with for a novice that's for sure!
@@torkington5 I wish Drove a 1.6 and a 2000cc. That was fast I will go back. I’d also like to test drive a k Juke Nismo. I have a Juke 1.6 DigT Tekna. It’s the best car I’ve ever had
Wicked,..I'd blip on the downchanges though..sorry to be 'that' internet plonker, but a bit of heel n toe goes a long way on the track..and not up my arse.
Thanks for the comments. It's a 2L Zetec running on throttle bodies and mapped to 190bhp. Not super quick but very driveable.
loved the video. Fantastic.
Good stuff man!

@@mariustrasavik4612 I brought the car completed. It was running with an Omex ECU, Webber throttle bodies and was mapped at Northampton Motorsport.

Cracking video. Can I ask the spec of Westfield? looking into getting one. thanks
You wiped the floor with the whole track. I turn 50 in 2 years. One of my bucket list ticks is to either own or drive a Lotus 7 derivative.
dude we're on the same path, but im only a fortnight away!
I'm 37 and have had the same bucket list item since I was 20 or so. I didn't realise until now that you can pick up one of these for only 9 grand!
It's nice Video.
I understand about Westfield.
Thank you very much.
very cool car
Got a 2ltr with 45 deco carbs so not sure what it puts out should be around 170bhp so 340 ptw per ton 😮

Good skills..... Sounded epic too....
Awesome bit of driving, couldn't do it myself
for me...a 200bhp westfield, then a 232bhp caterham...now a 220bhp lotus elise by far the best one.
I found any Elise easy picking on a track day. Pretty car though
Impressive!
Been to silverstone took part in an auto test competition
Was awesome
Was leading then I messed up a donut turn
Can’t wait to do it again
Did you buy my car then Paul?

Nice driving 👍
If in doubt flat out ,great drive and car
I thought the driver in the GTR was pretty slow as he was holding you up.
yeah the Porsche and GTR drivers seemed like they were just there for some light fun rather than serious driving
Class drive man.....
Good Driver, Excellent skills
Nice convoy.
When you though gtr was quick
Nice!
Mmmm I felt that
YES !!!! Soooo exhilerating.
