Dear Nikon Europe, I am in a state of Panic.......My new Z100-400 is stuck on my new Z8. Z8 is my first Mirroless camera after my beloved D500 and D850. Even if I press and hold the side button and turn the lens, the lens does NOT come off.........Am I missing something? Please advise me. Should I return the lens and camera to the shop??????

Hello, one question. While being in Manual mode is it possible to have frond dial set to shutter speed and the back dial to exposure compensation? I really prefer not to use exposure compensation after pressing the EC button, but have it right away. I'm considering the Z8 for wildlife, but it bothers me if the most used function have to be used by pressing a button and then dial. I don't need to use aperture that much, but I'd like to have a possibility to change it if needed and it would be ok if I can change aperture after pressing a button. Is it possible to set EC button to aperture?

Also would it be possible to be able to record straight to an external SSD such as the Samsung T5? I know that 8k wouldn't be possible but 4k resolutions should be possible? Thanks!
Hi NMC Watkins, Sorry for the time it took for us to reply. Nikon is always looking to improve their equipment with new functions and correcting any bugs the current ones may have. While we do not have any view on when a new firmware can be released, we can inform that at the moment the external recording of videos is limited to external recorders or computers through HDMI.
In this video you wanted to condense a lot of information in a short time and the result was great confusion. Even if you watch this video several times, with effort and concentration, you can understand very little. It would have been better if it contained information that followed a logical thread.
