I feel it is more of a Bass machine for sure, you can do a few things like fuzz and decay but not really make new sounds so, yeah pretty much a bass machine.
If I had the money I'd buy it, only you haven't offered postage. I think that's what's holding it back, you've really limited the customer base to people in your area. I don't have the money anyway, so no skin off my nose, but I see a lot of guitars and basses I'd love to buy but they're pickup only. You can really see the difference if you follow ebay auctions, I've seen $50 bargains being relisted week after week pick up only while similar guitars are selling for heaps the first time they're put up for auction because postage is offered. Good idea posting this vid though, hopefully it does the trick. Thanks for the demo though, it's a great little keyboard! 🙂👍
@@blacknailofficial2823 It's up to you, some people feel better handling it over face to face, no damaged in the post or didn't arrive drama possible, but it does mean that you'd have the whole of Australia as possible buyers. I've been buying online regularly for almost 10 years and never had anything damaged or not arrive, but I guess people could try to bs you . You could even put it on Reverb for a targeted international audience, but I don't know what's involved in shipping overseas. Good luck with it mate, it'll sell, I'm just spitballing.
You can see one in Devo's video for "Whip It." It was probably just a prop and not used on the actual recording.
That is where I first saw one, I think it was just used as a prop.
Sounds awesome. They make a vst of this that’s pretty decent, surprisingly.
The guy I got this off years ago made a vst of this himself.. sounded good.
That thing is such a beauty!
Both visually and sonically.
It's so beautiful. I want everything to look like this!
I bought this on looks before I even heard it to be honest...
@@blacknailofficial2823 You have to! We've all made that same decision before.
looks like somone ripped it off an accordion. i like it.
It may have been used in Frank Zappa's Rudy Wants to Buy Yez a Drink, but I'm not sure.
1967? So fully analogue.
Would be even more interesting through some pedals!
Very true, I have never used pedals with a keyboard. Not sure why…
beautiful old analog tech
There is a charm to old tech that can't be beat.
An early attempt at a Novation Bass station!
Very much so!!
No
Some people say that the perfect guy doesn't exist...until he pulls out his Kee Bass
Wait, is this from the same company that now makes water boilers and air conditioners?
Yes it is, they did a few electronic products back in the day, I even have a great Rheem microphone...
Wow. A curiosity for sure.
For sure...
@@blacknailofficial2823 surely...
Thats kind a neat organ! Is it more of a synthesizer than a bass organ?

@@blacknailofficial2823 when you were demonstrating it, the sounds it made are like it was when brand new? Thank you again
@@j.lietka9406 This is what they sounded like for sure. It has not been modified at all.
But was it (or one like it) ever used on popular music albums? Are there any to listen for?
I really don't know to be honest. I know that Mark from DEVO has one but I don't know if he used it on anything specific.
Dr. Who?'s Greatest Hit?s
I wanna say this is what the B-52s used?
Hope so!!
2 sounds like the synth from Brush Your Teeth by Kompressor.
Must check that out!
Holy throwback Batman. Waves of MySpace band memories just came a floodin'.

Good thought, I will change that. Thank you.

What did Ray use with the Doors?
The Doors used a "Fender Rhodes Piano Bass" I believe.
is it monophonic?
Yep, Monophonic for sure!!
For the hottest of hot hot W̶a̶t̶e̶r̶ bass youve ever seen
