De Armond M 70 Guitar Demo
Переглядів 14221 день тому
Demonstration video of sorts about an old guitar! The De Armond M 70 was made back in 2000 in Korea. De Armond at this stage were Guild's lesser brand, like Squier to Fender. Still, cool guitar!!

Haze Nylon string, solid body electric guitar demo
Переглядів 2257 місяців тому
This is a no talking demonstration of this guitar. This is just me noodling around with no real structure to show you how nice this thing sounds. The audio was recorded straight in to Garage Band with no effects added. I am in no way affiliated with Haze guitars, I just bought it on a whim and liked it!

ROCK & ROLL !
What did Ray use with the Doors?
The Doors used a "Fender Rhodes Piano Bass" I believe.
is it monophonic?
Yep, Monophonic for sure!!
Keytar Kabuki? Heck yeah!
Now I want to change the Band name to "Keytar Kabuki"...
@@blacknailofficial2823 it’d also work as an album title or even song name, for deffo!
@@iZ-the-Egoni Song name, now there is a winner... I will get on it...!!
...these days, they make water heaters
I also have a Microphone from them but yeah... hot water now..
I wanna say this is what the B-52s used?
Hope so!!
But was it (or one like it) ever used on popular music albums? Are there any to listen for?
I really don't know to be honest. I know that Mark from DEVO has one but I don't know if he used it on anything specific.
Dr. Who?'s Greatest Hit?s
Puppets!
Yep! Billy was first in our Christmas video! ua-cam.com/video/OVBGrprZ7HA/v-deo.htmlsi=h9oY2jmSVEQb-1vs
Some people say that the perfect guy doesn't exist...until he pulls out his Kee Bass
Sounds like Joni Mitchell used one
2 sounds like the synth from Brush Your Teeth by Kompressor.
Must check that out!
Holy throwback Batman. Waves of MySpace band memories just came a floodin'.
For the hottest of hot hot W̶a̶t̶e̶r̶ bass youve ever seen
Steaming!!!
Wow. A curiosity for sure.
For sure...
You can see one in Devo's video for "Whip It." It was probably just a prop and not used on the actual recording.
That is where I first saw one, I think it was just used as a prop.
>clicked >dude does not have black nails >dissapointed
My unpainted apologies, I will do better..
Hahahaah
Took me a while to get what you meant lmao
An early attempt at a Novation Bass station!
Very much so!!
It's so beautiful. I want everything to look like this!
I bought this on looks before I even heard it to be honest...
@@blacknailofficial2823 You have to! We've all made that same decision before.
looks like somone ripped it off an accordion. i like it.
If I had the money I'd buy it, only you haven't offered postage. I think that's what's holding it back, you've really limited the customer base to people in your area. I don't have the money anyway, so no skin off my nose, but I see a lot of guitars and basses I'd love to buy but they're pickup only. You can really see the difference if you follow ebay auctions, I've seen $50 bargains being relisted week after week pick up only while similar guitars are selling for heaps the first time they're put up for auction because postage is offered. Good idea posting this vid though, hopefully it does the trick. Thanks for the demo though, it's a great little keyboard! 🙂👍
Good thought, I will change that. Thank you.
@@blacknailofficial2823 It's up to you, some people feel better handling it over face to face, no damaged in the post or didn't arrive drama possible, but it does mean that you'd have the whole of Australia as possible buyers. I've been buying online regularly for almost 10 years and never had anything damaged or not arrive, but I guess people could try to bs you . You could even put it on Reverb for a targeted international audience, but I don't know what's involved in shipping overseas. Good luck with it mate, it'll sell, I'm just spitballing.
Sounds awesome. They make a vst of this that’s pretty decent, surprisingly.
The guy I got this off years ago made a vst of this himself.. sounded good.
Reminds me of NES lol.
Yeah, its pretty old school..
Another nice find mate, gotta love a 12 string. Has a acoustic flare to it, whilst also sounding like a tele/strat. Awesome guitar for the collection
This is a beauty for sure! She sounds really nice acoustically that the computer doesn’t pick up so well but yeah, she is lovely for sure!
Im glad to see another video! Absolutely good score from cashies. Nice guitar! Sounds really nice, has a light warmth to its tone - well to my ears. You have any Teisco guitars with the crazy buttons and switches? Nice playing too!
I agree, I think this has a very pleasing tone hence no effect on the clean stuff. I sadly don't have a Tiesco at the moment but you never know.... Thanks on the playing too. I am a self taught player and I will do a video all about that soon.
@@blacknailofficial2823 self taught? Thats awesome you taught yourself too, I am currently on that journey myself, so any videos would be great! Have a good one 👍
I have a red woodgrain one single pickup. I have it low action tuned to an Open F tuning for learning When The Levee Breaks in slide. It is the first video I posted on my UA-cam channel if you’re interested. My avatar should get you there. Nice guitars 👍🏻 I started learning guitar late, lately getting better.
That red one is a nice looking beast!! I have never seen one before. Keep playing you sound great my friend.
Ran into your channel via a guitar you were selling, enjoying your vids mate. Got good humor and i can tell you enjoy doing what you do!
Thanks so much, I enjoy making people smile!!! I try to be serious but it never really works!!
@@blacknailofficial2823 Dont 'fret' mate, you give serious with a added humouring touch. Made me laugh, its more fun that way. Id love to see more on your guitars, seems you have some gems
@@emdae921 I plan to do a review on all of them very soon.. I have some cool stuff for sure!
@@blacknailofficial2823 look forward to it mate!
Good one lol
Thanks!!
I just picked up one of these from a house clearance sale here in England. It's exactly the same as yours. This video was pretty much the only thing I could find about it on the web!!
I hope my horrid video was of some help!! I love this thing to be honest, takes pedals nicely too!
I actually currently have one of these, pretty much brand new, same color ,and everything, sounds amazing honestly
It was nice to hear it as I worked today - so soothing!!
Thank you
You're welcome!!
It's literally an Electric Stick Dulcimer
Very much yes!!
great man I am buying my today in Musik Productiv
I highly recommend it!!
I'm loving this ... great performances.
Thank you!!!
where can i get one i love it
I’m about to list one on Reverb
Still got this thing Paul?
Yep!! It's so fun to see people's reaction to it..
May I ask how much this was sold for? I had one stolen from me and am trying to get a court order for its return
$500 AUD..
Sounds great as always Paul, hope you and family well. I got rid of Insta, so don't see much any more as rarely on UA-cam due to blasting out tunes on Spotify. Stay true to you and rock the music good sir.
. I hated it every time I walked into the Music shop and then suddenly one day I bought it. I love it.
Have to admit, took me the best part of a year of playing around with it before I bought it...
where can i contact you for more details?
Here is a link to the advert, contact me there if you like www.gumtree.com.au/s-ad/south-plympton/guitars-amps/heart-shape-electric-bass-guitar/1286193503
has anyone bought it yet?
Sadly, not yet...
Thanks for the great review. Very nice guitar for the price. There is also a 330/12 version that can be had for an even better price if you can find one. They do come up for sale from time to time. These particular guitars are a lot nicer than the more recent Chinese clones that are a dime a dozen. It's such a shame that Rickenbacker doesn't produce a value line 12 string series because they would probably sell a lot of guitars to people who would love the real thing but don't want to spend megabucks to get one. BTW, and you did allude to it briefly, Rickenbacker did produce a 360/12 model with an f hole (rather than the familiar cats eye / slash hole) for export. The British distributor Rose Morris bought most of them to sell in the UK. Peter Townshend is probably the mose widely known player to use that model. Rickenbacker went on to produce a Peter Townshend signature 1993Plus RIC 12 with f hole in the early 1990s.
Wow, I really did not know about the English import!! Thanks for that, I will look in to it for sure.
Ughhh I adore this, sadly I’m looking for the red hot red color 🥺😭❤️❤️ still sounds amazing tho!
such a cute bass !!
Great review. Thinking of buying the SG in this brand
A friend of mine bought a Les Paul in this brand and he speaks ver highly of it! So, an SG should be great!
I love this - it gets me through a tough work day!!
Thanks for uploading a review of this one, I've been contemplating it but haven't found much online about it.
Glad I could help!
Totally Pshycho-delic :) - love the video!!
Thank you 😋
