- Video #4 of 4 of the Dolomites Video Series. Today we bring you up to the Seceda Mountains from Ortisei. This is on the same day that we hiked Lago Di Braies. You may visit both in one day if you are transportation. We spent most of the morning in Lago Di Braies, and headed here after lunch there. It is about an hour and a half to two hours from Lago Di Braies by car. We parked in the basement level of the Cableway ticket office and was up by about 3 pm. We only stayed for about 2 hours but still did a lot and got to see the magnificence that is the Seceda.

Great video - perfect mix of on-screen commentary and dialog. Hello. Thank you for watching. We stayed at the same hotel while we were there. Having been there once, I may consider staying in Cortina for a few days then move to Ortisei and explore that area and hike Seceda from there. We just didn’t have more time. I hope this helps
Hello! If I am using a rental car and take the first lift from Ortisei, can I pay for parking and the lift there, or do I need to make reservations online so I don’t have to worry about it getting sold out? I plan to arrive around 9am
I am not sure about this one. We arrived in the afternoon. However, based on how popular this peak is, I would go with advanced reservations if you are able to. Have fun!
