i had fun playing the Ducktales game when i still had my gameboy, & was glad when they remastered Ducktales 1, now if they can only remaster the other Ducktales game i will be happy & as Scrooge Mcduck would say "bless me bagpipes"
Well NES limits and GB limits differ so they had to change the levels kinda The first game in the GB version sucked lagged and music wasn't the best This one's much better
39:41 in the middle of the room you can jump onto that enemy and then up where you grab a rope and climb up. There you get a one up and a constant extra heart (like at 41:59)
I always wondered why some of the main characters (besides the nephews and Webby) always called Scrooge by: "Uncle Scrooge" in this game while in the show they refer him as: "Mr McDuck" or Launchpad as: "Mr McD". They probably forgot about the character details as the show ended 2 or 3 years prior to this game.
Seems pretty much the same as the NES version, although I noticed two things: 1) Being able to return to the map (with Launchpad). That either wasn't in the NES game or it went differently 2) No boss battle in the secret area. I think it was just a slightly different version of the wizard in the NES version though Good port overall =)
Another great port, this time the soundtrack was really good. I understand that the levels are different, since the gameboy screen would haven't able to cover everything on the screen. The only thing that I did not like is that sometimes the game slow downs. Beyond that, recommended, it is even somewhat more challenging than the previous one, although it is more of the same, that is, the parts where you have to cancel your jump to avoid taking damage are annoying, in addition that for some of the jumps you need to be precise.
+I AM IRONCLAW! This game is on the Gameboy, an 8-bit system. Also the closest thing to an 8-bit system in the 50s was Tennis for Two, but there's probably something closer.
Loved this game. One of a few original GB games I had as a kid. Played super smooth unlike most of them.
this is the first handheld game I ever had brings back memory.

Ah, my childhood……never beat the game though😅
I couldn't even make it to the first boss battle at 7 years old
I noticed the level designs were altered a bit in the gb version...I'm gussing to make up for system limitations back in the day?
They did the same in the first game😒

31:17 still having no clue since 1998
There's a secret Dewey (I know it's him because of the NES version) will tell how many times you have to press what

First game didn't have that issue, might've been a different dev team for this sequel who didn't know all the show details.

Returning back was in the NES version as well
amazing game!
Goddamn, this was a hard game when I was 7-8!
Probably would still be tough too 🤣

Slowing down is a real issue. I am playing it now on gb sp and some parts are almost impossible because of the slowdown
Amazing final boss
Forgot this second game came out on GB.
this game is awesome
I had this game on my Game Boy.

Isn't Launchpad supposed to refer Scrooge as "Mr. McDuck" or "Mr. McD"?
The last boss was tough😢

it is more interesting than the nes version
The ending is just stupid, why ungle dagobert had to loose all his treasures on his ship? That’s pretty sad.
In order to get rid of the D 1000 robot permanently.
Vincent Van Goat appeared In Baby Van Gogh
The slowdowns in this game is awful. Otherwise it’s a great platformer!

Why black and white? Was this game made in the 50s or something?
+I AM IRONCLAW! I -- I really thought this was an actual comment until I saw who posted it.
I was about to get fairly irked..
+DracXBelmont - How is it not an actual comment?
