Coimbatore parliamentary election in 2024 is unique due to the BJP contestant, Annamalai, a true, sincere & integrated selfless worker for whom not only the local multiple community people are canvassing, but also thousands of people from out stations and even from abroad are canvassing, spending the money from their own packets. This is a very rare phenomena, which indicates the quality of Annamalai, for whom they have dedicated their, time, energy and money. It is rather doubtful of such a support being extended to a contestant of an election, happened before in any part of the world, a sure-shot Guinness record.
Smart City of Tirupati was keeping only the 'devotee' traffic inside the town/ city. The projects executed in Tirupati under Smart-City, including auto-drivers to hotel owners (incl those who have lost out by being close to public places such as bus-station or Rly station etc) is a jewel in the crown to understand than changing dynamics of Smart-City projects.
Can TN cite any Smart-City project success in the last 10 years?
That's what double-engine scheme is all about... Like you said Ramesh ji! it is not about the same political party that needs to be in power in Centre and/or state. It is about getting the projects executed fast and on timely basis to benefit the people at large

Prof Ramesh ji! In Bengaluru, Sri. Bassavaraj Bommai ji got the first AC-enabled Railway terminal for Bengaluru within 3 years... SMVT is a classic example. Even MSM today claims that this terminal has become so popular that SMVT now needs to focus on cleanliness aspects.. Kindly highlight how many Railway terminals have Chennai/ TN got? I am not talking about junctions or separatism of Kerala's influence in Railways... By the way, Kochuveli, outskirt of Thiruvananthapuram, had 1.5 platforms, 3-years before... and now is a major terminal for TVM-based/ bound passengers...
BLR Cantonment station is now 6-platform ready and boasts Vande Bharat trains originating from there... The antagonist approach of dravidians have killed TN state (only 2, may be 3 terminals) in Chennai, wherein BLR boasts of 4 railway terminals (City, Yeshwantpur, Cantt, SMVT).
