God,,, hes gonna cry :(
Literally he started talking about when they jumped into the water in part 1 and I almost cried remembering how it ends

thank you for always using your platform for good bill
Love this and love you Bill!! Thanks for your videos
Hi bill i just suscribe to your channel..but i wonder ??what kind of music are you into?
Who else is enjoying watching him go through the smae emotions most LGBT kids went through while watching this? Like we've all been there bro.
Yeah, I remember watching the trilogy when it came out 3 years ago...I cried so much as a teen who just discovered their sexuality 😌😌
„I though the little kids were going cliff diving“.... just you wait
"uh oh that looks like a s a d troy sivan"
sees bill has a new video:
sees that its troye Sivan: oh god im gonna cry more than bill
Me: *sees the title* “Oh Bill im so sorry”
i love bill's videos but i often worry if all of these really heavy topics in music are too mentally exhausting for him :( someone recommend some good happy bops for this man
I agree! I’m worried that we are hurting him. Like yes these are great topics and beautiful music, but we need to throw in some happy ones.
Yes please :
REACT TO GIRL IN RED.

i wanna be your girlfriend

i need to be alone
i'll die anyway
Summer Depression!!!
Dead girl in the pool
bad idea - along with the music video
And her new song, Midnight Love!
we need to request some happier songs for you :(
I was just about to comment this. As much as I love seeing others feel very emotional towards sad music, I feel like we’ve been suggesting too many emotional songs and we need to start giving him happier suggestions
he cried to lizzo's "good as hell". i mean what more can we do......
How's some Sabrina Carpenter? Or AURORA, not from All My Demons (because those are pretty much all sad).
@@avastepanian567 so much of AURORA is so sad haha
He needs Katy
The blue neighbourhood trilogy was the only thing I listened to coming up through my tough years of high school, it helped me find myself and who I wanted to be, I was proud of who I was every time I read into the lyrics and learned the story🤍
I had the same experience, it's almost strange re watching it now and realising just how much of an impact it made on my life.
Amelia H it’s crazy how music changes your life, for better or for worse😌
Same blue Neighbourhood and Halsey have been the soundtrack to my life since freshman year
Another important thing I think this trilogy highlights is the self-hatred that festers inside of you after being told and shown for so long that who you are is “wrong, disgusting, and perverted.” Especially when someone you care about so much is the person that reacts so violently towards your authenticity. So in order to make sure that person continues loving you, you try to completely alter yourself from the inside out and push your feelings way back until you can’t anymore. I went through it when I first came out as bi. People started treating me differently, so I pushed my bisexuality back for around 14-15 years. That pushed me in such a deep depression that lasted 8 years and made me suicidal for half of that time. It happens to most LGBT+ people from my generation and up. Not sure about Gen Z though.
Can confirm, gen z feels it too
half of gen z is old enough to remember when gay marriage wasn't legal in the US and many other countries. we remember people arguing that gay marriage was wrong and disgusting, many of us internalized it before we even knew we were queer.
Austin Barrientos I’m sorry ya’ll have to suffer through it too. It’s a tough world to be living in, but our community remains a beacon of light even during the darkest of times. ❤️
@@LycorisWebb thank you. even just you sharing your story and being the authentic you allows for change and more acceptance for the next generations. things aren't perfect, but i'm really hopeful that they'll get better
That’s one of the reasons I haven’t fully come out as bi. My main family (mom, stepdad, dad, brothers, sister) are very supportive of the LGBT community, to a wonderful and open degree... but I wouldn’t want my sexuality to expand to my other relatives. I only came out as bi to my friends 2 yrs ago, and even then it’s really rough. So long I suppressed my feelings, so that now even opening up about liking a girl, or a guy, feels almost wrong to me.
There’s also issues in the LGBT community around bi people-especially bi girls. Like we’re just doing it “to be cool”, or that we need to “pick a side”. So it’s not like I can really gain support from there. Biphobia is abundant in the community, and it’s really awful to experience and know that, no matter what community I’m apart of, that shit won’t really be 100% accepted.
My uncle came out as gay in the 70s/80s and was was faced with some really disgusting backlash. My grandma was supportive of him, and even almost left her church when they excommunicated him. But the rest of his siblings were sort of like “We get it, but we don’t want you around our sons because you’re gay.”
I basically just decided that if I ever get a girlfriend I’ll come out, but if I never do and only date men, then it’s not anything my extended nor main family needs to know about. Safety is important, and I do love my family even if they are prejudiced on that front. I wouldn’t want to lose them.
at first I really liked your thoughts on deeper music, someone who doesn't know the artist but tries to figure out the meaning so me to commented for you to react to this. but honestly your mental health is so much more important and these are heavy topics and if you can't handle that, that's fine. these topics are hard and you should do some happy reactions. I want happy tears.
I feel that way too. Like I know we love his deep thoughts, and everything but we need to recommend some happy videos for Bill. For a bit or to say things like “this recommendation is happy this one is sad” so he can choose to not always do sad ones when he’s in a bad place. :,(
I fully agree! I love some if the sad songs so seeing him respond is great but it can quickly become overwhelming.
There is actually a theory that it wasn't the dad who died but Troye. Then it would be Troye's ghost we see at the funeral and that's why no one is looking at him or noticing him. Then the guy's girlfriend finds his boyfriend basically hugging air 'cause he's the only one who sees Troye and that's why she's weirded out. The theory is basically that Troye killed himself, as we see similar shots of him as we see of the other guy standing before he jumps, and in the clip where they jump as kids they are together. So the theory is that Troye's lover kills himself to get to Troye and to be with him again. And/or because he feels so guilty and thinks it's his fault that Troye died.

Bill: I want happy songs
My music playlist of 600 songs: Ooop-
“that does not look like a happy troye” should be the official description of the blue neighbourhood trilogy
Please react to Dear
Evan Hansen. It’s a great musical that talks about a lot of important topics. I’d recommend; Anybody have a map, Sincerely Me, You Will Be Found, Requiem, Words Fail, Waving Through a Window and So big/So Small. It’s a good mix of happy and sad and will kinda give you a good overview about it all. The Only Us version with Ben Levi Ross and Taylor Trensch is also great. Actually, if you have the chance you should just listen to the whole soundtrack because they’re all masterpieces. But instead of the album version of only us react to the Ben and Taylor version.
Also Ben Platt in general would be cool to see. He’s an amazing singer and the original Evan Hansen. From Ben I’d recommend; Grow as we go, Rain, Bad Habit, Better, Share your address, and So will I. Honest man also has amazing vocals.
That’s also a good mix of happy and sad.
Can't forget words fail!!!!
DEH is FUCKIN GOOD,,, i couldnt stop crying with if I could tell her,,, DAMN
yes yes yes
I’d love a TTS Ben Platt so much! That’d be amazing
Words Fail is AMAZING, I love it so much. another one he has to watch is Good For You!!!
most of ben platt's songs from sing to me instead are happysad, sad in a happy way yknow?
Some sapphic suggestions from your local lesbian (There's kind of a lot. Sorry):
-Mary Lambert: She Keeps Me Warm, Secrets, Born Sad, Know Your Name, I'd Be Your Wife, When You Sleep
-Hayley Kiyoko: Girls Like Girls, Feelings, Curious, What I Need, Gravel to Tempo, One Bad Night
-Halestorm: Freak Like Me, I Am The Fire, Sick Individual, Daughters of Darkness, In Your Room, Beautiful With You
-PVRIS: St. Patrick, My House, You & I, What's Wrong, No Mercy, Holy
-King Princess: Talia, 1950, Cheap Queen, Hit The Back, Ain't Together, Prophet
-Kesha: Praying, Rainbow, Raising Hell, Bastards, Woman, Hymn
-Girl in Red: girls, i wanna be your girlfriend, dead girl in the pool, we fell in love in october, say anything, watch you sleep
Also, I don't know if musicals are a thing you want to react to, but if so:
-The Prom: Just Breathe, Dance With You, You Happened, Tonight Belongs to You, Unruly Heart (which is honestly my favorite song of all time), It's Time to Dance
-Fun Home: It All Comes Back, Welcome to Our House on Maple Avenue, Come to the Fun Home, Ring of Keys, Telephone Wire, Flying Away
Feelings was my theme song for ages. Gravel to the tempo was my neice's lol
Fun Home is an amazing musical. Definitely short enough to listen to the whole thing and get the whole story. Dead dad warning though:)
For Halestorm, I would also suggest Amen and Love Bites
Trying to Stan Oh Wonder please

YES OMG I LOVE THIS COMMENT
A good band is called Sleeping At Last. He's got a lot of good songs, some of them are Light, Emphasis, Saturn, Earth and Pluto
Yes, I love sleeping at last!! Honestly, any songs would be amazing
ooo yes! Light and Saturn are so good! I also recommend Atlas:Eight, Atlas: Five, and Bad Blood
Ooh yes, would love to see him listen to East, earth, pluto, saturn, and three
yess!!
love there version of chasing cars
I love what you said about how the boyfriend gave up a big part of himself to please his father and then didn't know what to do with himself once his father was no longer around. It really made me think
I remember seeing a theory about talk me down saying that the funeral is actually troye's.
- Troye probat wouldn't be at the boyfriends funeral. If it's his own funeral then that explains it.
-No one else looked at troye at the funeral (unless you want to say the wife/girl friend saw him but it could have just been her looking at the boyfriend)
I don't know if I believe it but it's a fun interpretation.
nah, personally i think it is the father's funeral. it just makes more sense to me, but its an interesting theory nevertheless
that’s a really interesting take but my heart ain’t ready for that
I think Troye would be at the father’s funeral to support and show respect to the son and his family. They did grow up together and their families knew each other even if they didn’t get along too well. I think it makes more sense for the son to be grappling with not only grief but the guilt of disappointing his dad and not wanting to disrespect his dad’s memory by being some way that was considered unacceptable, even if that means that he can never be true to himself. I think he felt so trapped and hopeless like he couldn’t live with the guilt if he chose to go against his dad’s will, the guilt of hurting Troye or not being able to fully be there with and for Troye, couldn’t live with the internalized shame that was instilled in him for being gay, couldn’t live with the possible abuse from the world if he were to be open, and couldn’t live the rest of his life dealing with all of these mixed emotions and suppressing everything. Unfortunately there are a lot of people who feel this same inner turmoil and feel that there is no right choice or way out of it and everything just feels like too much to grapple with:’(
Oh dear I can feel the sadness incoming.

Troye explained the following about the trilogy - he grew up in a pretty liberal city, but within a very conservative enclave of Judaism with his family, when he talks about it, he nicknames it the Blue Neighborhood. The film is not directly his story, but it's his imagining of how things might have shaken out in the neighborhood if two young men had tried to have a relationship.
Please react to Kimbra whenever you get the chance. Edit - OH!!! And Orville Peck!
Sabrina Carpenter has some fun happy songs, I don't know if she is your style, she has a very pop vibe, but her vocal talents are amazing.
° *In My Bed* is upbeat, and the music video is random and crazy.
° *Looking At Me* is a confidence booster.
° *Sue Me*
° *Thumbs*
° *Diamons Are Forever*
° *Smoke And Fire*
° *Why*
° *Seamless*
Those are all upbeat and happy. 😊
I personally prefer her heavier songs and vocals (Like in the acoustic of *Run And Hide* , or her song *Shadows* ) but I totally understand you wanting happy songs for once 😂
YeS aAAaA I love her! I would definitely say Thumbs and Sue Me, though my favorites are all at least as old as Why (the acoustic of that one is a necessity), Seamless and Shadows or Smoke and Fire are what I'd recommend.
oh fuck yeah sabrina carpenter
@@avastepanian567 Oh my gosh, I had forgotten about Why and Smoke and Fire! What bops!
Man, I don't know if I'm prepared for this. The blue neighbourhood trilogy is so important to me and it means so much to me that you're reacting to it! Can't wait to see what your thoughts are, much love
Your analysis of Wild is actually something I've never really thought about before. Listened to it so many times and I didn't catch what "leave this blue neighbourhood" meant. You do great stuff, especially on the fly right after listening to a song.
If you're looking for recommendations, "My My My!" is a fantastic Troye Sivan song, definitely something to give you them happy summer feelings. You definitely need it after all these sad songs we've been getting you to listen to, lately.
Girl in red: I wanna be your girlfriend, girls, we fell in love in October, summer depression, and dead girl in the pool
you should do trying to stan lord huron !! their album strange trails is one of my all-time favorites !! some great songs by them are meet me in the woods, when the night is over, love like ghosts, and the night we met

Hi Bill, i have not finished the video yet but i know the trilogy and i know you'll start crying :,
just wanted to say that you're an amazing human being and i love how sensitive you are, and i would also like to thank you for making this a fundraiser for the Trevor Project, you're awesome and ily👉👈 that's it
Edit: aaand i arrived at the part where you cried. fucking knew it-
I remember being so heartbroken when this trilogy came out, I definitely cried.
Anyways for happier more summer-y music you should listen to Mika.
Some of my favorite songs by him are:
Grace Kelly, Good Guys, Relax Take It Easy, Underwater, Origin of Love, Talk About You, and Tomorrow
Hopefully next you can react to Declan McKenna next! Specifically the songs "The kids dont wanna come home" and "The key to life on earth". (+ Brazil, British Bombs, and Paracetamol)
Also Dots and Dashes!
YESSSS PLS
Could you please do Hobo Johnson?
Songs I think you should listen to are Moonlight, 3%, Father, Romeo and Juliet, All in my Head, Sorry my Dear, and Peach Scone (To cheer you up. It's honestly the happiest and funnest song he has so I'd listen to it as a band-aid afterwards)
Also just wanted to say that I really appreciate you and love your content. Thank you for cheering me up.
Peach Scone!!!!

I love how they showed nuance in the dad as well. He's not a one dimensional villain. The things he did, how he treated his kid was so horrible.. but then it also showed the side of him where he just wanted to have that father-son relationship that he saw was the right kind of father-son relationship.. and when he sees his son stray from that image he just loses his shit. The reality of that hit me hard. Also, the shitty reality of a son loving his dad and wanting that relationship with him despîte all the terrible things he does.. just... all of this is too real and these songs make me cry!
How about trying to stan: Half alive?
They are still a relatively small band, have a nice retro sound, beautiful music videos and uplifting lyrics, I find. They make me happy, I really enjoy listening their music and really really love them. They are my favourite band at the moment and they might be a nice contrast to these amazing but sad songs.
Songs could be: awake at night, still feel and runaway but I literally enjoy every single one of their songs.
This just came up in my notifications - I apologise in advance for the mental breakdown you may or may not be about to have
Stay safe everyone
You know one of my favorite things about this trilogy is how like the homophobic abusive dad died and that didn't magically solve all his problems? Like when someone is gone we all have a tendency to then remember the good times because you miss those times and that conflicts you even further because to be closer to the person you miss from those moments you can lose yourself. And in general it festers this sense of self-hatred instead of all of the hatred being external. I feel like so often people ignore the lasting impact of abusive authority figures and just make it like oh no he's evil so you can hate him easily and love yourself for enduring it!! and that's not how stuff works and I just really respect this trilogy for everything not being as easy as oh cool my evil dad's dead so now I'm happy and we can be together no problem!!
someone PLEASE cheer this man up with some bops

Dear Winter (really sweet song, could possibly make you cry happy tears lol)
you should listen to Bad Habit, Ease My Mind, Hurt Me Once, and Older by Ben Platt. They're really beautiful songs that are a little bittersweet (except Hurt Me Once that one's just sad). Ben's voice is also AMAZING and i think you'd really enjoy it
try to stan ben platt! temporary love, rain, grow as we go
and try to stan adam melchor! jewel, real estate, i choose you, i don't wanna see you crying anymore
Please do a "Trying to stan AJR". They are one of my favourite bands (and their sound isn't anything like Troye Sivan's) and I think you should give them a go.
As suggestions for the songs, I'll just say that they like to do concept albums so it's really hard to choose just a couple of songs, but here goes my list:
-Next up forever (the first song in their last album, so you'll understand their sound)
-100 Bad Days
-Don't Throw Out My Legos
-Turning Out
-Karma
-Burn The House Down
I really think that they are great artists, even if most of the reviews I see on them are too harsh and it seems that not everyone gets the meaning of their lyrics. But from what I've seen of you, I know that you'll understand.
Finally, let me tell you how glad I am to have found your channel. I'm completely in love with your "Trying to stan" series, I've found so many great artists through you. I just hope you realize how your videos affect people
.
Thank you again and keep the great work!
Also no grass and sober up
please check out the 1975!! good songs to start with are
(upbeat songs): heart out, it’s not living (if it’s not with you), UGH!, if you’re too shy (let me know)
(less happy/more serious): robbers, love it if we made it, somebody else, jesus christ 2005 god bless america
YES PLEASE, loving someone would be good also!
And frail state of mind is really good
I remember watching the Blue Neighbourhood trilogy when it first came out and it was SO IMPACTFUL. There wasn't really that much queer rep in pop music then and Troye really just WENT THERE. Plus, so much of his UA-cam following at the time was that market of "straight" teenage girls who into him and what I knew about his image at the time was being bright and lighthearted and fun, then these music videos hit, and it was so heavy and raw and honest, and it really cemented Troye as a real, talented artist to me. He wasn't producing something catered to his audience, he made something he needed to say. Talk Me Down to this day is in my top three for favourite Troye Sivan songs, and even though I'm happy to see him take off in the mainstream, my favourite music of his will always be his early work.
bill: "if i wasn't so scared one of the kids would get like... hit [...]"
me: bill i'm so sorry
Every artist who makes Bill cry has to pay $1000 to whichever charity he chooses, this wonderful man should never be sad
You allways seem so wholesome, yet intelligent! People always tell me that I need to stop analyzing lyrics so much, and it is really cool to see someone else look into the lyrics as much as I do. Thank you for sharing these videos with us!
Also, a suggestion for a reaction (or you could even listen to it and not film it if you are interested):
Norman Fucking Rockwell - Lana Del Rey, the production on that album is just *chef's kiss* 😊
And I hope that the move is going well! 🎉
I CAME AS SOON AS I HEARD
COPIED AND PASTED(‘cause I don’t own a brain)
I HAVE A THEORY:
It isn't really very clear who's funeral it is, you kinda assume that it's the other boy's dad being as he isn't there at the funeral either but that doesn't make much sense. Why would Troye be at the funeral of the other boy's dad because throughout all three videos they don't seem very close.
So in the funeral, Troye seems kinda distant, as if he isn't really there? So what if he actually isn't there? What if it was Troye's funeral?
At the end of the second video, you see the other boy and his new girlfriend. Troye felt so upset and like he didn't deserve anybody anymore and that he didn't belong here ((maybe the other boy made him feel like he did belong etc)) so he took his own life. Literally the first line of FOOLS is "I'm tired of this place".
So at the end of Troye's funeral, you see the other boy hugging Troye. But Troye's dead. Hence why the girl looked at him as if he was mad.
Half of the first verse of TALK ME DOWN is basically "I wanna sleep next to you but that's all I wanna do right now and I wanna come home to you but home is just a room full of my safest sounds" which links to the end of the video where he jumps off and kills himself, to be closer to Troye.
drops mic
OKAY UPDATE:
Okay so a lot of people are unsure of this theory because of the flashbacks of the dad, which is understandable. Maybe the flashbacks are from the boys point of view? I'll explain further. The flashbacks of the dad all appear to be happy memories, e.g. Like the dad playing with the boy etc. This suggests the boy is trying his hardest to think of all the good memories of his dad instead of the bad memories, indicating that the boy is trying to find something good about his dad to hide the fact the dad might be the reason Troye killed himself. Also, if it was Troye's funeral then flashbacks of the dad would make sense. The dad is a part of the reason why Troye did this to himself so, he must be part of the memory of Troye.
In the whole video, there are actually more flashbacks of the boy and Troye ((omg that rhymes)), especially near the end, so maybe the boy eventually realises that he was happier with Troye instead of his dad, hence why he then decided to kill himself to be with Troye
I dont think this is how it was intented but yeah i can see it, this theory does make sense even if it isnt actually what happened.
troye said what it was about in concerts and stuff like that
I always interpreted it as the abusive father's funeral. I know it might seem odd if you take the flashbacks as showing not being close to his friend's dad but I think Troye went to support his friend not necessarily to mourn the father. Even though the father was abusive and an alcoholic it seemed like his son tried to have a somewhat good relationship with him. It's notable to point out that we don't see Troye's friend's mother which suggests that she wasn't in his life from a young age for whatever reason, Troye would be aware of this as his friend. So, in short, Troye is there to support his friend who is now somewhat of an orphan. Not every funeral guest is there to mourn the one that passed, some are there to simply comfort the surviving family members.
When I was very young I went to a memorial service for the daughter of one of my older brother's high school teachers, we went to support the family rather than because we knew her. In high school I also attended the memorial service for a girl a few years younger than me who was struck by a driver while she was walking home after middle school. I didn't know her but many of my friends who were younger than me did know her personally so I went to support and comfort them....and, now I'm crying
@Ocean Blue he's said before that it's based on a real experience he had when he was younger. it's been years since i learned about it so i don't remember the details, but troye is still alive irl and in the trilogy. but hey, i don't have a problem with people interpreting music in a way that resonates with them :)
an idea: trying to stan musicals
this is mostly me being a theatre kid, but I think you'll actually enjoy a lot of them. there are professionally taped versions online, or you can just listen to the soundtrack. either way, there are some really good shows out there with great music and messages you can get behind. some good musicals (in case you don't know any) would be Les Miserables, Hamilton (the recording's being released soon, Hadestown, Dear Evan Hansen, Waitress, Chicago, Natasha Pierre and the Great Comet of 1812 (a snubbed masterpiece)

You NEED to do a video on trying to stan NF. He's a rapper who raps about really personal things, things that can really hit hard. The tone of his songs perfectly match the subject matters, and they all tell deep, complex stories. Anyone struggling with self-worth or mental illness issues can relate to his music. Some specific suggestions are Mansion, Nate, Therapy Session, and Let You Down.
"the blooming" with the adsense icon frickin killed me.
"I thought the little kids were going like cliff diving" 😳🥴
Oooh, the band Hey Violet has a lot of upbeat bops.
*Faqboi* is a personal favorite,
*Queen Of The Night* is a really happy and beautiful song, *Clean* is upbeat and fun, *Better By Myself* , *Hoodie* , and *O.D.D* , are fun.
Warning, their song *Guys My Age* s a little scandalous, but it is a bop
I literally said "oh no baby" when I saw the title. I notice you've been mentioning more and more how sad a lot of the stuff we ask you to watch is, remember to pace yourself, and we can give you some happier and more wholesome recommendations if you need a break from all these intense emotions!! 💕💕
Can you please do Being Me The Horizon! Some good songs are Medicine, Happy song, and Mothertongue!
I personally like that they left us hanging because it lets us choose our own ending, not just for the characters but for ourselves.
you should do Sigrid. she has some amazing (mostly upbeat) songs:
1) Don't kill my vibe
2) Strangers
3) Basic
4) In Vain
5) Dynamite
Please react to Lauv! His music is so emotional and he himself is such a sweet and sensitive soul. I just know you would love his music! To name a few:
Modern Loneliness
Changes
Sad Forever
Lonely Eyes
Enemies
"oh thank god the water was like right there"
*ominous foreshadowing*
YES THIS IS TROYE’S BEST WORK! You should really try to stan Rina Sawayama!
Some songs I would recommend are XS, STFU, Cyber Stockholm Syndrome, Bad Friend, Comme Des Garçons, Cherry, and all of her new(ish) album SAWAYAMA!
You should listen to some more 5sos songs please! Some good ones are High, Lover of mine, Teeth and Wildflower
yesss
Me: I haven't listened to blue neighborhood for like 4 years.
Also me seeing this title: I am ready to be hurt again.
Try to Stan Kesha: Praying, Rainbow, High Road, Good Old Day's, Raising Hell, My Own Dance, Timber, Your Love Is My Drug, We Are Who We Are (so you can just have some fun break lol. I love you and I think you should take a mental break off just happier/ less heavy stuff so you're okay.
Try Kacey Musgraves! I think you would like her word play. Also Bo Burnham!! A truly spectacular word smith who does a wonderful job of heavy and light topics.
I'd love to see a Trying to Stan: RuPaul's Drag Race & Trying to Stan: Euphoria (HBO Serie) ♥
Haven’t watched his reaction yet but my heart already hurts
Please try to stan louis tomlinson: walls, two of us, dont let it break your heart, too young, only the brave, habit.
me seeing the notification, worried about Bill and then feeling bad that I was one of the people who recommended the trilogy.
also, it so nice as a gay trans guy to see this straight man show so much love and care for troye and for the lgbt community. just thanks bill :,)
PLEASE react to dear evan hansen! i'd recommend the ENTIRE musical, however essencials are anybody have a map, waving through a window, for forever, requiem and you will be found. But you'll miss some of the story if u don't listen to all of them :)

"I hope at the end they just got a fast car and run away"
me, breaking the fourth wall: "oh boi, how do we tell him?"
Please do kesha next! she has developed so much in the past years her projects have great lyrics and production, songs such as:
1.Rainbow
2.Praying
3.Learn to let go
4.Woman
5.Gozdilla
6.Father daughter dance
all these are just amazing!
oh my this sent me back oh mY
Troye Sivan (in particular Talk me Down - I'd listen to it on repeat for weeks) was one of the only artists i'd listen to (him and tøp mainly) when I was a young/mid teen who was sad™ and hearing what you showed of talk me down really touched me - it's one of those songs i haven't really listened to since back then. i had a lot of questionable thoughts and treated myself pretty badly if you catch my drift, and this song really holds that time of my life in it for me. i honestly didn't realise it would affect me in the way it did, but i'm so glad i got the chance to revisit and confront my past with your thoughts as company - your voice is so calming and your analysis is always so thoughtful and heartfelt. thank you for being so raw and honest in your videos, the world needs more people like you💛
I like how you genuinely react to all of this
Dude, you need to listen to Hurt Me Once by Ben Platt. Your poor little heart will break. Ease My Mind and Grow As We Go are beautiful too!
I have never clicked in a video SO FAST!!! I'm so happy you're finally reacting to the Blue Neighborhood Trilogy 😭❤
Edit: I discovered Troye Sivan my first year of college, at that time i was going through one of my toughest breakups in which my partner wasn't ready for an openly same-sex relationship. Hearing you explain how this trilogy shows the journey of two people falling in love but having one person leave because their safety and integrity are threatened made me realize how Troye's music helped me so much during these times, and understand why my relationship ended the way it did... In a way, it's like the closure i never got. Thank you for bringing such warm and uplifting memories with your reaction, and for being a voice for social issues like these.
I really liked the way you analyzed the dads character and recognized the complexity of still wanting to protect his son and that being the reason he tells him to leave.
