@@HanifBarnwellMy take is that Dylan is the better lyricist (not a diss on Simon cause he’s one of the few who come close) and Simon is the better composer. They’re both phenomenal. Sometimes I bounce back and forth between them cause they’re the only ones who can put into words what I’m feeling perfectly.

      you got that backwards
Art was a musician in high school and Paul was a nerdy short introvert who kept to himself.
Art asked Paul to sing with him, they performed in highschool and had a hit record "Hey Schoolgirl" in 1957
If it hadnt been for Art Garfunkel there would have been no Paul Simon.
Paul attended Queens College in Brooklyn, New York,
and got a B.A. in English
and entered Brooklyn Law School, dropping out after a year to devote himself to music full time.
He earned money making demo tapes with other performers, including Carole King, who attended the same college.

Cool how natural songwriting can be for many of the greats like this. True God given talent. God is clearly trying to speak to him in these latter years. When he says he doesn’t want to know who’s giving him these dreams, he definitely does want to know. The difference between knowing Christ and not impacts where he spends eternity. I pray he realizes that it’s God reaching his loving hand out. Everything else including his accomplishments will fade. The choice to follow God or not, is eternal.
