    Marly you are such a good teacher. The way you take time to explain what you're showing us and how it should look when completed is so valuable. It was a happy day when I found your channel.

    Beautiful pattern, wonderful tutorial, and perfect timing as I bought all this Hygge yarn for the wrong project LOL. I can tell I am going to struggle with finding that front bar with the super fuzzy yarn. I am going to have to practice with a smooth yarn. Thank You so much!

    Thankyou for using a pokey needle to show us exactly where the stitch should be...and that it is calm/slow paced, detailed, and easy to follow...and good lighting, and good video! Clear and concise! Love your tutorials!

    Hi #marlybird! I love this throw and you’ve helped this beginner crocheter do much better than with just the pattern. My sides are curling in - what does that mean?

    Hello, as others have said, you are a great teacher and I have learned to knit by watching your three videos you did with your mom (teaching her to knit). They were very fun and funny (by the way:) I was wondering if this stitch (throw) could be used with blanket yarn (8mm hook). If so, about how many chains do you think I would need? Thank you for your tutorials.

    Marly I appreciate your patience when you make your videos. I want to make this blanket. Can't wait to buy this yarn. I do have a question - are the 11 balls of yarn based on 5oz or 8oz balls?

    • @MarlyBird

    Is there a different border that would work instead of the fringe? Making it as a gift for someone with dogs and I can just see the dogs getting their toes caught in the fringe edge.

    Marly, I made a shrug with the Hygge yarn for a gift. I used an N hook, it was so stretchy and some places there were holes in it, no matter how tightly I tried to crochet. The designer said the yarn was very stretchy, it is pretty and soft but I won't buy any more of it.

    • @MarlyBird
      @MarlyBird  5 років тому +2

      It does have a lot of stretch but if the pattern plans for it the resulting fabric is beautiful.

    What on earth could I be doing wrong? I've done my chain row fo!!owed by my hex but then my third Rose to work on the horizontal bar, they are not horizontal but slanted. Somewhere in losing a stir h in every row? Is started with 121 chains and fo!!owed direction with working in the slanted stitch but by row 5 I have 95 stitches. Where is my horizontal bar?

    #MarlyBird Hi! Great video. I have been wanting to try the Hygge yarn and I think this is the pattern for me. One question though: is it possible to just do every row in the horizontal bar instead of alternating with the back loop on the next row? Would it work and if so I'm wondering what it would look like? TIA for your reply. Oh I haven't downloaded the pattern yet... Is the pattern written for the Hygge yarn so I will know how many chains to make for my foundation chain? Thanks again.. I'm so excited to finally purchase this yarn and feel it and work with it!! ❤️

    • @MarlyBird
      @MarlyBird  5 років тому +1

      You could, it would just result in a different fabric.

    • @Pitoonya

      @@MarlyBird thank you for your reply. I will do a test swatch for both and see what I like best. Probably end up doing it the way you did. Super excited to try this yarn! ❤️

      Hello Kitty Kat,
      This is part of the My First with Marly Bird Series of videos so it is geared towards beginners. Going slower than I usually do was necessary to make sure that even beginners can follow along.
      Thanks for the comment and I hope you have a wonderful day.
