The thing is that since Kpop became this phenomenon and became so huge now producers, directors, investors, corporations like disney, warner bros, etc. and musicians from around the world wants to work with kpop artist and celebrities. Seeing hollywood and emmy/oscar recognized actors in kpop music video was something unimaginable (and now we see it with NewJeans cool with you MV and Jungkook Seven music video too), seeing the biggest corporations like apple, disney, samsung, warner bros, spotify, etc working with Kpop artists for promotions and having their content on their platforms tells you a lot about the growth of kpop as a whole. And now kpop is one of the top 5 most popular genres/industries in the west specifically the U.S.

Sad but true, people's attention span has gotten alot shorter. Gripping story is what holds the viewers to the song. I still love DITTO because it's a quality song mated to a gripping story.
