People rarely sing live on korean tv shows, thats just how it works. The only time it's a bad thing is when people lipsynch at their own tours when people actually pay to see them perform. But tv shows like that are just an advertisement, you see them dance, you hear the song, then the show goes on.
The reason why that one caught attention is probably because it's a calm sitting song, theres no dancing or performance other than the singing.
yeah cause when they sing live in tv shows you can tell (like really u can) but we still have a long way to go in terms of kpop stans accepting their idols don’t have those super perfect flawless vocals while dancing
15:41 this is a new survival show to form a global pop group by SBS with collaboration of F&F ent that was aired last year Nov and ended at January 17th of 2024. Actually that scene is very viral not just because the participants messed up but because they give the rap part by someone who is not fluent in korean. It's quite funny but the participant said in a podcast that their parts got changed in the last minute so what do you expect by the sudden turn of event.
Ps. The final line up consists of 3½ Korean, 2½ Filipino and 2 Japanese. That girl on the left side that Waleska talking about is their Maknea which is 12 years old at that time. You can watch their performance on UA-cam just type "Universe Ticket"
