My kids are all home schooled. The classes they go to are a huge mix of ages and there are no barriers between say a 5 year old and a 12 year old. They will interact with each other without barriers. Such a better way

It's incredible isn't it, no restrictions, no sheep herding - just young humans interacting with young humans. Sounds like they are doing very well 👍

I’m 53 lol but maybe I’m not so cranky!? Great podcast - liked the focus on the positive people and “pull” emphasis that Matt put forward. Listen to, care for and engage with the Gemba people, is the only way. ❤️❤️❤️so true about the school comments. That system needs rebuilding from the ground up. So much waste…

Matt that was a great podcast. Lot of golden nuggets to take away from your experience & wisdom from Royalmail, certainly can echo some of the experience we both had. Focus on the PEOPLE. Keep up all the good work with schools, fully supportive. We learn more when we are having fun

This is also how my journey started I was the WO and AM Pillar at Wolverhampton Mail Centre, first person to score a point at audit in Midlands. Then the same again at Lichfield DO. It was a crying shame how they setup Professor Yamashina to get rid of him. Since then I've been in multiple industries from ammunition to Amazon to Steel and Cars.
Delivery became less Lean when they brought in Transformation 2 Posties in a van.

Awesome. Please, if you are not doing so, have 2-3 hour long conversations with lean leaders and then post the entire conversation. These short videos are excellent but I would love to hear you and your guests speak longer!

I have got the same professor Yamashina in Automotive Lighting where we achieved the Gold Medal In World Class Manufacturing. I can share my experience with you if you want!
