It has this whirlwind effect where it sort of encircles you with this back and forth bouncing blend of delay and saturation. I am a huge fan of yours Dennis and hated to see you close Sweet Tea. Please don't sell the Neve, my life long goal has been to record an album with you on that console, it's something special and so are you. I understand why Dave Grohl went out of his way to acquire the Neve from Sound City, anyone who has recorded with them understands the importance of analog when it comes to capturing the spirit of an artist's soul. I think that's something to hold onto, those old Neve's will never not have demand. Of course, a lot of the magic captured on the Neve is credited to Dennis. He is truly a master of his craft, and his versatility as a former session guitarist makes him very helpful to songwriters in the studio. Animal Collective's masterpiece Merriweather Post Pavilion owes a lot to Dennis. That album challenged the dynamics of technology and art and how they interface in a way that hadn't been done since OK Computer. Don't do it, Dennis. If you are selling it for financial reasons, then it's time to hit another home run in the studio. You can't convince me that's implausible because I know everything you touch is better because of it. The mark of a good producer isn't in how they make the song sound...it's how the song sounds without them. Modest Mouse, WAVVES, and Animal Collective just weren't the same without you.
