Have just been researching upgrading from my phone to the zv1 - this is really helpful. Mainly I will be filming top down journaling so don’t think need a wide lens ?
I'm still using my iphone 13. Not sure if I should upgrade to a camera. Afraid I won't know how to use the camera. Also I've seen ads on Instagram for a uniglo camera and light stand. Is that something you'd recomend for doing videos so that I can light on my face when doing cooking videos?
I need lights because my background garden scene is too bright. Can you suggest lighting gear please

Hi Katie, quick question.... I make craft content where I teach cardmaking videos. I just got a glass mat work surface and I have a ceiling fan overhead which usually reflects on glass. Is there an affordable way to somehow light my work area better to fight the glare? Maybe with a diffuser of something? Im going to be getting your microphone for sure and was thinking of the lighting you use might be good for side lights?? but wanted to check with you before I go shopping. Thanks for your help!
So far my iPhone 11 Pro Max for the videos I make on my channel is good. But this is informative and helpful!
Omg i've been desperately looking for a budget travel tripod, thank youuuu. Btw, before buying the sony 11mm one, Sigma just released the 10-18mm and it's pretty awesome, more expensive than the 16mm one, but you get to play with the range! (the 16mm wouldn't be needed anymore tho)

Can you please make a video about adding free (or almost free) copyright free music to vlogs using a PHONE? I know yt studio doesnt allow it, I have the hardest time getting music AND voiceover on a video using my laptop with yt studio. 😭
