Lara is scary good. 😁 Her sound and her presence are so mesmerizing and if I might say, addicting. Once you hear her and also watch her perform, you are hooked. I first heard her in 2021 and I have needed to hear her voice at least once a day ever since. As a musician, she gives me a daily dose of inspiration that nobody else can. I listen and have performed all kinds of music over my career, but Lara leaves me spellbound like no other. Ok, maybe Beethoven and Mahler, but she is a force I cannot explain. LOL.

I loved the woman in her 30 year with her intensity and her vocal performances. I loved the 40 year old with her willingness to discover many different musical styles, always with a fabulous voice. You are a special person to share your intimate feelings with us. You have genuinely felt true love and my hope for you is that it continues for the rest of your days. Lara is actually becoming more recognized as one of the world's greatest singers in these later years because of the internet, particularly you tube. Her Concerts at the turn of the Century have been discovered and enjoyed by generations of new people from everywhere and after listening to her a one word explanation says it all. "Wow." Of course there are many, many wonderful singers who have brought their music into our lives which includes a basket of love and brings us together as a people. I have watched many of Lara Fabian concerts (thank you to UA-cam), however so far, I can only find her singing "You Are Not from Here" in two of her concerts. One is in this Lara with Love, and the other one is her concert in Germany, if I am not mistaken. A very touching song from her, just like so many of her other songs.

Walter Afanassiev, an american/brazilian from russian descent, is a legendary composer and producer (he co-composed some of the greatest initial hits of Mariah Carey such as All I Want for Christmas is You or Hero and was the producer of the Titanic soundtrack that hugely increased Celine Dion’s WW fame). Funny thing is that Lara told that her being a singer, like she told in this car, being 5, was a running joke in her family for many years. I think she sings like that, because she has Sicilian blood in her and Italians are very emotional and Sicilians even more. Lara never had unconditional love though, she was used and betrayed many times up until now.

There is also one more singer from my past who touched me when I was very young and sadly there are so many people who never had the same experience because 'of the way the cards were dealt', if you know what I mean. Her name is Jane Olivor (Olivor with an 'o'). I would like you to listen to Jane sing her version of 'Some Enchanted Evening' from the classic Broadway Musical, 'South Pacific'. it's special.

A special song of a woman who has that longing feeling of her love. I have watched many of Lara Fabian concerts (thank you to UA-cam), however so far, I can only find her singing "You Are Not from Here" in two of her concerts. One is in this Lara with Love, and the other one is her concert in Germany, if I am not mistaken. A very touching song from her, just like so many of her other songs.
Lara wrote the lyrics of this song when she fell in love with Walter Afanassiev, they both co-composed the music.
Walter Afanassiev, an american/brazilian from russian descent, is a legendary composer and producer (he co-composed some of the greatest initial hits of Mariah Carey such as All I Want for Christmas is You or Hero and was the producer of the Titanic soundtrack that hugely increased Celine Dion’s WW fame). He is also was the producer of one song for Dimash. Funny as Lara is the absolute idol of Dimash.

Funny thing is that Lara told that her being a singer, like she told in this car, being 5, was a running joke in her family for many years. I think she sings like that, because she has Sicilian blood in her and Italians are very emotional and Sicilians even more. Lara never had unconditional love though, she was used and betrayed many times up until now.

I have watched a number of music professionals analyze and explain the vast number of different skillsets she brings to her singing, While most of these analyses are way above me as a lay person, who just truly feels deep emotion when a performance steps out of the realm of being technically perfect and touches the soul. I believe whether intentionally or not you offered the perfect answer for what elevates her into her unique place.
