Oh my goodness someone needs to show Bette Midler this. She would absolutely love it! I mean Winifred Sanderson is her most favorite character that she's ever played along with my favorite too! And it came out so beautifully. I believe that this is what the young Winifred would look like, no wonder Billy fell in love with her

Mama Poppen really outdid herself with this one! The dress is incredible, but that cloak really takes the cake. It's STUNNING! And the shoes, the book, all the accessories really make this one. Can't wait to see the other sisters!!

The amount of detail she puts into her work is insane. She didn't just make a tiny box that looks similar to the book, but instead she actually made a perfect replica of the book, spells included, and has a fully functioning closing mechanism. This woman is unbelievable.

Hand down, the Book is one of all time favorite pieces you've made. You could have just made a blank book, but you went all out with all the little spells!

I worked as a wig mistress in theater, film and for an opera company. One of the reasons I love your work is the amount of detail you and your Mom put into everything. It really is amazing.

Just a little tip if you make a book again:
Instead of cutting the pages apart from each other, when you’re laying them out in procreate or whatever keep all the edges together. So instead of having page 1/2 together, then page 3/4 together etc, have 1-10 all together side by side. Then when you go to assemble it, score the center of page 1/2 just like how you did it, then on the opposite side of the print (the white side) score page 2/3. This will fold it the opposite way, creating an accordion style fold. Then you can glue 2/3 together while still being attached and you won’t have a white edge when you look at the closed book 😊
This is really great advice! I kept thinking maybe Poppen was going to put some of that gold leaf around the edges of the pages.
i was a little confused that she made the paper pages.. leather texture.. and then the leather cover.. paper cardboard lol
I thought she was going to paint the page edges as they didn't match the paper colour inside, but your accordion solution is a much better idea.
The outfit looks amazing. Arrogant Is a perfect word for Winifred. She looks wonderful.

What I really love about this video is that book. At the start the cover looks - how to say .. 'rubbish' - and by the time it is finished it looks great! And putting the actual spells on the pages was a brilliant idea.
That was the most lovely outfit I've ever seen. It was perfect. Couldn't believe it was for a doll.

Freaking AMAZING. My favorite parts of each video is when you take off the old face (I love seeing the doll makeup on the makeup cloth), the makeup, the hair, and the outfit making. You and your mom are truly SO talented.

She is absolutley beautiful! I saw Hocus pocus for the first time last year, and unfortunatley I think it's one of the movies where you need childhood nostalgia to enjoy it. It was okay for me, but I don't feel any need to watch it again. The sisters are iconic though, no doubt about that!
