it could be possible that the dock is designed to be smaller then the switch 2 compared to the sizes of the switch 1 & it's dock, i've been hearing a LOT of chatter of the screen being at least partially visible while docked for various display reasons
Apparently nobody wants 60fps, I wonder what's the logic behind dropping games back to 30fps when docking the console, that would suck. Based on known specs 4k/60fps is doable as long as you leverage upscaling and pair back visual quality.
That would be nice but even the PS5 struggles with 60fps at 4k and if this is going to less than $500 I wouldn't get your hopes up too much. I hope we get 60fps in someway though maybe 1440p 60fps if we're lucky, but 30fps is probably more likely unfortunately.

If you have ever seen a ps5 or series x irl and looked up resolution and framerate of games you would know why thats never gonna happen.
