But, because it was all anecdotal, I never discussed my observations in depth. My musings were generally taken as me venting frustration. We are near the final chapter of this Empire. Our nation's military domination might allow it to flourish longer than fallen Empires of yesteryear. But, the experiment has reached its conclusion. The majority of the citizenry of the United States of America has an appetite for autocracy. This election result clearly illuminates the willingness of the population to waddle in the dark muck of vengeance and gripe that has overtaken this World that we call America. A ship of fools, with its crew members locked below deck, voyages under constellations it cannot name, towards storm clouds it refuses to prepare for. Let us not lie to ourselves and pretend that this once mighty vessel won't strike seamounts, take on water, and eventually languish in the doldrums of old. Our optimism shouldn't be so thorough that we deny reasonable assertions and put our faith in those who have proven themselves untrustworthy. To think that this ship will reach its destination and remain intact is to forget the images of the capitol building on January 6th. If nothing else, the capitol represents our ship and that is what those fools did to it.
Spoken with the wisdom of the ages, the ships name is "The Flying Dumpman" ,sails aloft but tattered and torn, no ghostly figures roaming the deck. You can't fix stupid.
Actually, you can. Everyone doesn't need to learn calculus to learn important things. One key item: critical thinking skills. Some 2nd graders get it, but most of us take a bit of time. You have to provide an adequate education, though.
@@robynliteracy7057and with project 2025 the already broken education system is getting dismantled even more… no more learning critical thinking skills which makes it more easy for Trump to influence these people. North Korea vibes.

Actually, it is. So sad. Now Musk will get control over the government agencies that were put in place to oversee his government subsidized Space X programs. It's always been this way, simply done more in the open because Americans are numb/apathetic to it today.
This is the trouble with democracy. What happens when the majority of voters are uninformed fools? This is certainly the case with the USA (as it was in Britain during the Brexit vote).

I'm disappointed, but I'm not surprised. 😔 From my vantage point from behind the camera, I watched the gradual decline of the American empire. On occasion, I've mentioned what I see.
The light of the shining beacon has been extinguished.

How can you have any hope when a country elects a man like Trump? I can't find any.
Faith in God. He's our Hope!!
Here's some thing to keep you hopeful:
- There are still checks and balances.
- As American citizens we can take political action, even when we're not in the midst of an election. Our hands are not tied even though Trump has been elected.
- It's easy when you're watching something scary unfold to see the worst case scenarios. It's healthy to consider them in order to decide how you would respond. But until they happen, they are only imagined. It may not actually result in the worst case scenarios we fear.
- There are still puppy snuggles.
- There are still a lot of good people in the US. Even some that voted for Trump. These people, I believe would turn on Trump if it got bad enough.
- We can create peace, unity, and respect in our homes and communities in our small spheres of influence regardless of what Trump does.
- When times get dark there become more opportunities for light to shine even brighter (heroic deeds and such)
- Life is going to go on as usual.
- Rainbows will still come after rain, chocolate will still taste chocolatey

Ships wheel spinning to and fro from the crashing waves against the hull. A forlorn sight, of a once mighty and proud ship of state. Now condemned to wander the seas propelled by hate
