I dont think they are dying perse. The future is EV. It may not be today. When the time come where we get Solid State Battery technology - and when it can go 1000 miles on one charge, and when Fast charging time goes down to 7 minutes., then ICE will be retired. First and foremost they are more expensive to produce and maintain and many industries [middleman] can be eliminated. Also, EV will be cheaper in the long-run. IMO if anyone is to buy a car today, they should opt for Hybrid
