That was me in the shop 😂. It was easy to say no until it was in front of me with 3 brands of the right size trucks to pick from. You Sir will love it.
Earlier I was giving my kids crap about them watching people opes things on UA-cam now im watching you grip a board lol. Hope your safe after that last storm
Marked Safe. The western part of the state is in bad shape. My heart goes out to them and FL is about to get hit again. Thanks for checking out the setup. This is a really fun board. I have to leave it at the house or won't skate my standard board. Stay Rad and thanks for reaching out.
@AdventuresInSkateboarding i got the curb killer , ive been wanting to do basically the same set up you did but x97 wheels and throw in harder bushings
@@Evergreenprospectors I ride the X99 on a lot of my boards. And the X97 on a few. This would definitely be wetter with X. Maybe I will switch them out and see.
These Heroin eggs are nothing like the pointy nosed 90's eggs. They have huge wide kicks and decent concave. Looks like a blast - I'll have to try them one day!
No problem, and thanks for actually watching the video and seeing that part of it 😂. The first session videos is also up. I have been skating it a lot the last few days. It is really fun. Stay Rad my friend. 🙏
Team 47 💯. I love setting up boards. Each board comes with new possibilities. I have over 35 boards and they are all set up differently. I need to do a video sharing all my completes. (It is an addiction 😂) Thanks for checking out the video. Stay Rad Sir
Heck yeah brother! love to see older skaters still rocking and skating! I took a super long break from skating but im finally fully back into it at 38 and slowly just ramping back my body up to shape for skating! been documenting my own journey on YT and instagram. love to see the egg. i had similar thoughts and bought an egg as well (fried egg 3.0) but really didn't click with it. the nose and tail were waaay too tapered and the tail was down right tiny! was under 6"!! i kinda decided to swear off eggs altogether but now im r econsidering and thinking of picking up a even bigger symmetrical one instead hoping that would make it work. ive gone through mutiple tests to see what i like and i think i'm getting close to the right setup. wider board with short wheelbase is really the best combo keep skating brother will keep watching your journey
Welcome back to skating. The best part about doing it as adults is we have the resources to try it all. I thought this would just be a fun board to have. Honestly, I can't stop skating it. I have to leave it at home or I won't skate my regular board and work on progression 😂. It really is a great time. Still no heelflips on it. I will check out your channel. I am always interested in the journey. Stay Rad
I would absolutely be down to try a bigger one. However, what trucks would you use? This board is really fun. I have been playing with it much more than I have been skating for progression. Stay Rad Sir.
Tracker trucks makes a truck called the Dart and it's widest model is 219mm(11.25")wide.That swampy wideboy is a symmetrical egg which is kinda confusing since the money bumps are not on all four corners of deck.
I will check out the trackers if I go bigger, thanks. Yes the money bumps make it not a true egg to me. I ride it as if the money bumps are the tail of the board. I don't treat it like a symmetrical board. I absolutely love it. I should be going out for sessions and working on progression on my 8.5 but I just keep skating this thing. Stay Rad Sir.
What you can do to make that deck last twice as long since you are going to skate it like a directional deck is to just switch the trucks from front to back when the tail gets razored unless you do tons of nollies the nose should be fresh enough to make the nose the tail but you know trucks wear different from front to back so gotta switch
I took it for a few runs in the bowl yesterday for Go Skate Day. (It felt good to get back in the bowl) It moves pretty good. However, I like my shaped boards that fit my stance. Stay Rad, miss skating with you my friend.
It is big but skatible, well minus the heelflips 😂. I like trying different boards. However, my normal board is an 8.5 Popsicle or an 8.75 shaped board. I like the 8.75 for the bigger nose. The best thing about being 47 is we can go out and get and try new things 🙏. Stay Rad Sir. Let me know if you try the mini egg.
@@AdventuresInSkateboarding I have tried the 7.9. egg before but cause I have size 11 feet felt like nose and tail was too small. Like a bigger nose like slide tricks skating a Just under eight inch zero at present.
Yes , the pointy nose and tail would definitely be challenging. The nose is the number one thing I look at when buying a board. Even old school boards.
Oh man, I didn't even skate in the 90s 😂, I stopped skating in 1989 and started again in Dec 2017. Small wheels and giant pants weren't for me. But at 47 I would absolutely try some 40mm wheels and giant pants for no reason. 😂😂😂. Stay Rad Sir.
@@AdventuresInSkateboarding I skate a zero x misfits coffin deck, it's pretty cool. Everyone I've seen skate these big eggs say that their really fun. I really wanna try them but I don't really have that kinda money
I love a good slappy session. My slappy board is a big antihero with slappy trucks and the Andy Anderson wheels. I haven't taken the egg to the curbs yet. I definitely need to. Stay Rad Sir.

You would have a good time on one of these.
Absolutely my pleasure on the shout-out. Glad you watched the video enough to see it.
Cool board
One of the best I have setup. It will become a staple in the completes I keep. Plus what else would I do with these trucks 😂.

Having that many boards is outlandish
@Deathcatclub for sure. It is a problem, an addiction.
Nice Ishods! I haven't tried an egg yet... I may try a smaller egg eventually.
I really liked the Ishods. However, they didn't hold up. I will add an update to the video. Go big on the board. So much fun.

sweet monster truck you made

Far more fun than I thought it would be. I just keep skating it.
tony is the best customer a skate shop could ever hope for aha

oh boy, thats really a wide boy!

dawg that board is huge good luck A.
have you tried glueing you rails?
It is pretty easy to skate but I cannot seem to figure out how to Heelflip it. I will keep working on it.
I haven't tried gluing them. Normally I go way old school with the Rad Nuts. Some companies come double sided tape and the screws.
Yeah man, eggcellent
🥚🥚🥚 Yes Sir. This board is stupid fun. I have to leave it at the house or I don't skate my regular skateboard.

I got the 9.5 razoregg and it feels way smaller than 9.5. It flicks good with the razor edge and shorter wheelbase.
Sounds rad. I am a fan. Stay Sir

I think most of those guys skate Appex. I am 90 minutes away and mostly skate in Fayetteville.
What part of CA did you move from?
Nice set up. Looks good. What was the angle?
It was 36 degrees compared to 37 on the my standard board.
I thought about sharing it, but coulyd see a good spot to add it in.
