I asked what is the difference if I just bring you people I know or I have a licence. And the answer was - you get paid more when you have licence. Those people want to recruit you and tell you that they want to have a team in some city working together. Such a bullshit. Someone on Reddit wrote that they sell some expensive funds with high commission, they try to sell you an expensive universal insurance and mislead you in all possible ways.

Let me share my story with WFG with you guys. About 3 years ago, I was invited by one of my ex-coworkers to attend his wife's new business opening event. He literally said it was his wife's new company, meaning some sort of startup. I wanted to support and was very kind enough to take a whole day driving up to Irvine to attend the "ceremony", also bringing my girlfriend (ex now lol). When I arrived, I immediately found out it was not his wife's own company, it was her fucking new job at WFG and they apparently opened up a new branch in Irvine. Of course I didn't know what WFG was at that time. Being confused the whole time, we got checked in along with a whole bunch of other people and directly brought to a meeting room and started some kind of financial courses. I was so confused cuz I literally thought I was going to a fucking party, but in fact I was sitting there listening like a baby sheep. Then we were brought outside to a parking lot where some higher level people were going to give a speech. That was a total cringe. I remember the woman literally screaming on the stage and cheering for how beautiful the company's future would be. It looked exactly like a Pyramid scheme show. I felt so embarrassed for bring my girlfriend with me, the cringe just doubled. They invited me to lunch afterwards and I refused lol. The story was not over yet. This dude who invited me tried so hard to follow up with me for the next whole year (apparently he and his wife are in the same business now lol). He drove to my city several times in the following months and asked me if I could go to lunch with him. I just couldn't say no after several invites and thought maybe the lunch wasn't about WFG at all, so I agreed to have lunch with him. Surprisingly he didn't talk about WFG at the beginning, instead he strategically left "the most important conversation" to the end, just when I thought I had a good time lol. He asked me to sign up as a WFG member for 100 bucks so I get to access to many learning materials. 100 dollars is not much to me, but I still refused to do so, simply because I don't want him to feel like I'm an easy target and maybe chase me down for more. He was probably also surprised that I was stubborn enough to not register as a member and kept persuading me. Whatever...I didn't sign up for shit that day. Until today, he's still texting me and sending his blessings on holidays, but I'm just too scared to reply. I'm still pissed at him taking advantage of our friendship to lure me into that embarrassing event and trying to sigh me up with that shit. That was my last day off before starting a new job in another city, I could've just enjoyed that last free day but he wasted it...
That also happened to me bro. A coworker called me to talk about a part-time job and tried to sign me up for a course in WFG. I refused and was really embarrassed. I thought I would take a 2nd job and earn some extra, instead I was asked to spend money to register some bullshit course, take an exam to get some “financial advisor” license by spending more!

Let me share my story with WFG with you guys. About 3 years ago, I was invited by one of my ex-coworkers to attend his wife's new business opening event. He literally said it was his wife's new company, meaning some sort of startup. I wanted to support and was very kind enough to take a whole day driving up to Irvine to attend the "ceremony", also bringing my girlfriend (ex now lol). When I arrived, I immediately found out it was not his wife's own company, it was her fucking new job at WFG and they apparently opened up a new branch in Irvine. Of course I didn't know what WFG was at that time. Being confused the whole time, we got checked in along with a whole bunch of other people and directly brought to a meeting room and started some kind of financial courses. I was so confused cuz I literally thought I was going to a fucking party, but in fact I was sitting there listening like a baby sheep. Then we were brought outside to a parking lot where some higher level people were going to give a speech. That was a total cringe. I remember the woman literally screaming on the stage and cheering for how beautiful the company's future would be. It looked exactly like a Pyramid scheme show. I felt so embarrassed for bring my girlfriend with me, the cringe just doubled. They invited me to lunch afterwards and I refused lol. The story was not over yet. This dude who invited me tried so hard to follow up with me for the next whole year (apparently he and his wife are in the same business now lol). He drove to my city several times in the following months and asked me if I could go to lunch with him. I just couldn't say no after several invites and thought maybe the lunch wasn't about WFG at all, so I agreed to have lunch with him. Surprisingly he didn't talk about WFG at the beginning, instead he strategically left "the most important conversation" to the end, just when I thought I had a good time lol. He asked me to sign up as a WFG member for 100 bucks so I get to access to many learning materials. 100 dollars is not much to me, but I still refused to do so, simply because I don't want him to feel like I'm an easy target and maybe chase me down for more. He was probably also surprised that I was stubborn enough to not register as a member and kept persuading me. Whatever...I didn't sign up for shit that day. Until today, he's still texting me and sending his blessings on holidays, but I'm just too scared to reply. I'm still pissed at him taking advantage of our friendship to lure me into that embarrassing event and trying to sigh me up with that shit. That was my last day off before starting a new job in another city, I could've just enjoyed that last free day but he wasted it...
That also happened to me bro. A coworker called me to talk about a part-time job and tried to sign me up for a course in WFG. I refused and was really embarrassed. I thought I would take a 2nd job and earn some extra, instead I was asked to spend money to register some bullshit course, take an exam to get some “financial advisor” license by spending more!

Yeah, I joined and meet a friend who is in wfg and he tried to get me to join the office is in Calgary I don't know how it will actually work because they don't market their services to people. or tell you how to get a client and make money they are like you will get a commission but you just be there as a licensed agent and the manager will deal with clients so I guess it is what it is you can signup snd have financial analyst knowledge or education so there is some use of it because you are paying for a course and then you can start your own business.

If you wanted to get started with the Financial Industry, Your best bet is NOT to go with companies or people in those companies that will take your FYC (First year Commission) in their pocket. There are MGA "Managing General Agent" who will recruit you with no fees unlike WFG.

Later I come to my senses, we canceled our Insurance, I stopped attending the meeting. They got furious when I canceled my family's insurances.
