I can't believe only 4.8K views. This cover was on fucking point! Most of the covers I hear have a hard time keeping the tempo and/or their symbol sounds flat. Badass job!
Thanks for the compliment! :) The kit is also triggered. I use internal triggers and use them on a “real” kit to have the playing experience as realistic as possible :)
Thanks a lot for the support! Much appreciated 😊👍 Alex may not be the most technical drummer around, but he has an amazing and unique style which I find a challenge to play 😎
I forgot about that series. The lugs threw me off. And, great use of triggers. I’m currently building a new ekit idea. So, I’m always looking at how cats are doing theirs. 👍👏👏👏.
Does it feel more like an acoustic set than if you played mesh heads on a strictly electric kit? I hate electric drums but live in an apt. I even bought a van recently to drive to the outskirts of my neighborhood to practice acoustic drums in. Then i saw you performance.
Doesn't the noise in the van drive you crazy, or did you treat it acoustically? Because I chose for the same sizes as with my acoustic set, I do find myself behind a realistic set. The feel is never 100% the same, but it comes close. The only thing where the feel is different is the bass drum, this is something I still have to look into. If I had the choice, I would only play acoustically, but I think the neighborhood doesn’t agree :)
Killer cover. Love that double bass!!
Thanks again for the compliment! Watching just some of your videos, this means a lot! 😊
Spot on
Many thanks, Nils 😎😊
Impeccable killer foot shuffle. It is close to the original. Hat off to you, bro.
Thanks a lot! It's impossible to copy Alex' style. Getting close is the best we can do! 😄

Excellent! Love the sound. Was wondering how you did it with real kit & all the cymbals of V drums. I found your video on the subject. Thanks !
Thanks for the compliment! :)

@@TomDrums I agree
Sounds Good and Beautiful Drums, They don`t look like a Toy :)
Thanks a lot! :) Even though they're e-drums, I want a realistic approach 😄
🤘
You can really hear the influences of big band drummers.
Good video man. 👍👍. Is that an MLX? Or BLX? Maybe.
Thanks! 😊 It's a Custom Z. Later under the name CZX :)

Are those mesh drum heads?
Yes indeed. The trigger is placed underneath the head.
Does it feel more like an acoustic set than if you played mesh heads on a strictly electric kit?
I hate electric drums but live in an apt. I even bought a van recently to drive to the outskirts of my neighborhood to practice acoustic drums in.

@@TomDrums thanks man! Thats a big help!
I wear ear plugs in van so it sounds like "whole lotta love drums isolated, crispy and muted".
Are those electronic drums or acoustic?
This is an acoustic kit, converted to electronic.
Great drum cover ! You Rocked it ! 🔥💪🤘🤘🐺🤘🤘👏
When I have time I do covers drum too ......🥁
Thanks a lot for the compliment! I just subbed to your channel :)
