My pupper never cooperates with training. She just wants to play no matter what. I mean she'll sit,stay,shake, and lay down but she has to play with her big squeak ball in order for her to listen, she never goes anywhere without it. In the middle of the night she must squeak it. If it's outside her crate she cries, if we forget it at home when we go to the park, she won't move unless it's the way home.

wow. What a wonderful dog you have. I got my german sheperd 3 weks ago and he is such a sweetheart. Im going to try to train my dog as well as yours. :)

Thanks for watching! Your pup is very beautiful! We aren't doing any protection training with Kassie. She is naturally protective. It is like protection by presence.

Awwwww she’s such s sweetie ! I just adopted a 6 week old Sable Male GSD. Named him Rocko and he is just too damn precious. I have to wait another 2 weeks but I’m getting the house puppy prepped. Any advice? Or on training?
I would have to say that socializing a German Shepherd puppy is the biggest thing you can do. Do some homework and look up how to socialize a German Shepherd puppy. If that is not done right then the dog will be scared of people or little kids if you don't have any around or even other animals.
Appreciate the advice and I’ll be sure park walks and training classes with other dogs will help him immensely

RpetsAndUs thanks except that I'm retaking them only because she needs to be socialized more. I bought a show line dog thinking she would be calm and friendly but she is hyper and a little aggressive to other dogs. Hopefully she can be as good as kassie. Love your videos and thanks for responding to my last comment.

my pups just about 5 months old and she's sitting at about 50 lbs.

Yes, these dogs usually love water! She doesn't even care how cold it is! We haven't weighed Kassie lately but think that she should probably be around 75 pounds right now. She will be 2 years old on March 8th. Thanks for watching our videos!

My 6 month German shepherd puts her hair up when she sees strangers anyway to fix that ?
I think the best way to deal with it is to introduce her to more and more people, so that she would learn that people are ok. The sooner you socialize her to people, the better it is since this is much easier to do when the dog is still a puppy. Introduce her to people of different ages and nationalities, as well as children of different ages and also other dogs and other animals. Thanks for watching!

why do she look so skinny
Devon Landrum energetic large breed dogs until they reach the age 1 they go through growth spurts and can be on the skinny side during those growths I had a Siberian husky pup who I fed everyday exactly the way the label said I should for her weight and it was high quality dog food and she had points in her life where she had a very slim waist I asked the vet and he told me everything I was doing and how I was feeding her was perfect and that's when he told me that it happens during growth spurts he said not to worry about it and to keep up the good work.
it's normal for a female 8 mos-old gsd to be on the skinny side during her growth spurt.They begin filling out at around 2 yrs when their bones stop growing, then their bodies start to get more compact.
