I think the key to looking rich is firstly taking care of your skin and using makeup to enhance your beauty. Not Instagram makeup, no heavy contour, no drag brows, no crazy colors (I'm talking about daily makeup obviously) And when it comes to products - choose a simmering bronzer and not a matte one, use lipgloss to plump up your lips (no crusty lips needed), use a satin/wet finish foundation and set it with light powder. No smudges, keep everything very clean. You wanna look fresh, glowing. I'm a makeup artist so I love all kinds of makeup, I'm just giving you an example of what I think "affluent" looking makeup should be.
@@evamaria644 you should be using orange or peach and a true concealer/color corrector not lipstick. Put the tiniest amount and blend it well. If you feel you need more put just another tiny bit. And blend, blend, blend and blend as you apply everything, adding gradually so nothing looks cakey! Hope this helps! 💕

@@starrix4712 You can get a generous sample of any complexion product at Sephora. This will give you time to save up for the full size and you get a chance to see what really works best for you. Also Ulta has a huge 21 day sale beginning September 1st. It's really true you have to consider it an investment in yourself.
@@starrix4712 yes! skip the primer(it is absolutely unnecessary no matter what they tell you), skip the expensive as hell foundation and buy only a very opaque concealer(i recommend Kryolan because of the HUGE shade range, it is better than most high end brands for half the price and you use so little that it lasts long), a good quality setting powder and a lipstick which will double up as your blush and shadow when need be. a black eye pencil and a brown eye pencil, a mascara. 4 products that will make you look more polished than most "tour my vanity" bloggers. If you have very oily skin then you might have to invest in powder blush and shadow separately. Hope it helps XX
My CC cream also costs $39, which when I first bought it was the most money I had ever spent on makeup. I need some spf that I'm not allergic to and that didn't leave me with a white cast or greasy skin. My first time purchasing it I worked minimum wage part time, so was large investment. Best sunscreen I have ever used on my face! Actually makes my skin nicer for having worn it. BUT I don't use concealer, highlighter, bronzer so I defiantly save there. Also the brand I use is juice beauty 💚
Anna I was happy to find your channel a few months ago and the timing is perfect as I am now in my early 30's , updating my wardrobe, revamping skin care and not looking for validating and stressing so much about what others think. All if your content has been perfect for these goals. It's comforting to hear you say you have large pores (I opted to do microneefling and get regular facials and this helped...I actually enjoy make up now)
Yess!!! SPF 50! Thank you I work in cosmetics and one of the most common things that people forget is spf. It protects not only against the sun but also against computer screens, regular lighting (yes that damages your skin) and prevents premature aging and of course skin cancer.
You are stunning. 😁 I completely agree with your philosophy of going with a more natural look. I personally don't wear any make-up and because of that focus solely on skin care, but I like how natural your makeup looks and you don't alter your face in any way by using the makeup that you do! Honestly, looking at your face with no makeup it doesn't really look like you need any 😆
My Father gave me wonderful advice on makeup . He said make up is meant to enhance your beauty ! Not cover it up . It’s not classy to wear a lot . I appreciate that very much about you ! The clean , clear natural beauty . Thank you for being you .

Hadn't ever thought of using concealer on my lid/brow area. Or using it *after* foundation. I always thought it was to go *under* foundation. Good stuff. I use clear mascara to keep my eyebrows in place.
I like this kind of look, so lovely and classic. I can't stand the instagram look where the contours look like dirt tracks on your cheeks and the highlights make you seem like you are summoning aliens from outer space. Gaaah...too bright! My eyes!
You do the natural look to perfection. How do you look with the tiniest little line of taupe colored eye shadow under your lower lashes? No mascara on lower lashes? You look beautiful! Thanks for sharing!!

Excellent make-up class Ana. You are a natural Swedish beauty. With your natural features that you have inherited, looks lovely with or without make-up. Thank you for a professional make-up class.
i really appreciated that you pointed out your scars and pores even though we couldn’t see them, it’s always nice to know that women as beautiful as you have problem like us
If I can be quite honest...i don't think that the thick lashes flatter your face and your idea of an elegant style (from what I watched it's what you strive for). Light, feathered lashes, yes, they can look youthful and elegant. But when they are very dark (esp for a blonde), very curved and kind of bunched together they give off a very cheap vibe.
Skin care is the key to any makeup application. I am loving Dior Dreamskin for primer. I wear it alone after skincare routine for my “natural” days. You are beautiful. Thank you!!
Aww, you look radiant! Seeing you doing your makeup reminds me of when I used to wear makeup with all my brushes and fancy products. I wish there was UA-cam back then (I was a teen). But I can always talk about my past now. You're right about not using red lipstick. Though you would rock it, you would look a little over the top. For nighttime wear it is ok. Besides, finding and creating the right shade of red is like taking your dress to a tailor. You must have a fine dress and very experienced person at the helm. I stopped wearing makeup for a number of reasons. Some of it was personal like I wanted out of the rat race (put simply) and let my skin breathe, but I never stopped caring for my skin. I continued to use face masks, steam face baths, natural cleansers, scrub my face (with brushes and my naturally long nails), eat fruits and vegetables, and most importantly: drink water! Ironically I studied makeup and theater in college so it's not like I was a hippie. Perhaps I embodied the most austere kind of minimalism. I think I was craving order and a sense of utility when I questioned that notion in my young life. You helped to inspire me to do makeup again. If I do a minimal look on my face it has to be Asian chic as my features are sort of like that (I am part Asian) though I am Hispanic by parentage. What I learned early on was that using traditionally Latin makeup styles and colors did not suit me. The ladies who wore it looked beautiful and glamorous, but I looked garish and cheap in those same colors. And when I used European cosmetics something was missing in the colors even if the quality of the products was excellent. My skin has a naturally yellowish undertone and makeup that is beige makes my skin look gray, peachy colors look pink on me and tan colors for non Asian peoples are very unflattering on me even though I do tan. I learned early on that yellow is more challenging and expensive to work with If you seek a natural look. Lighting is very important and something to be conscious of. If you don't know how to manage foundation, blush, concealer, highlighter and even primer with yellow skin you're better off just using a tinted moisturizer under your own and doing your the rest of your makeup as normal. But with yellow skin lipstick and eye shadow presents a challenge. Use the wrong colors and you look like a clown. There's no middle ground unless you always use black eyeliner and pearly shadow. I think that's why I saw so many Asian women who either wore light makeup or no makeup. It's hard if you are unskilled. But I taught myself that before going to college. I was always conscious of my own limits. That's important if one strives for elegance and sophistication.

Even though i love doing dramatic "trendy" makeup for experimental purposes, this here is a staple and a timeless look! It is a look that ENHANCES all us women and not completely changes us. You look healthy and glowy 😍😍
I thought I was the only one who did the concealer over my eye-lids because I like it much better. I never follow rules either. I found your videos today and haven’t been able to get off you tube. You explain things so well.
I love to see you cover a lot of topics about being a lady including makeup, styles and of course your specialties about manners and the way of dealing with people. You are now my number one to watch on UA-cam.
The eyebrow struggle is real! I love this natural look. Lets your true beauty shine thru! You are so pretty! New subscriber. ❤️
Her: don't forget to hydrate
Me: guiltily grabs water and chuggs it
Yay!! We miss your live streams Anna!
Yes! Please post back the old ones if nothing else :)
The super happy elevator "blending my makeup" music made me laugh and/or smile every time. 😁
"It's okay to have some imperfections. We're not supposed to be entirely perfect. We're humans after all." I have immense respect for you Anna 😊
Anna’s skin is on point without that makeup!!!!! She has such gorgeous skin!
"I have never followed rules anyway. I like to create my own." I needed that so much ♥
Thank you so much Anna! I love that you actually listen to your viewers. We love you!
She just said that a $39.00 is affordable..
You can find me in the corner of my wardrobe where I will be weeping.
If I could afford that I’d have got my rich man by now without her help ... holy damn is there any advice for literal near-broke people? Haha
😂😂😂
Anna I was happy to find your channel a few months ago and the timing is perfect as I am now in my early 30's , updating my wardrobe, revamping skin care and not looking for validating and stressing so much about what others think. All if your content has been perfect for these goals. It's comforting to hear you say you have large pores (I opted to do microneefling and get regular facials and this helped...I actually enjoy make up now)
Yess!!! SPF 50! Thank you
I work in cosmetics and one of the most common things that people forget is spf.
It protects not only against the sun but also against computer screens, regular lighting (yes that damages your skin) and prevents premature aging and of course skin cancer.
I didn't know that artificial light could damage your skin.
I didn't either until skincare became my job hahaha. It's mostly computer screens of course :)
You are stunning. 😁 I completely agree with your philosophy of going with a more natural look. I personally don't wear any make-up and because of that focus solely on skin care, but I like how natural your makeup looks and you don't alter your face in any way by using the makeup that you do! Honestly, looking at your face with no makeup it doesn't really look like you need any 😆
i really love watching you giving us precious tips thank you so much good luck Anna
My Father gave me wonderful advice on makeup . He said make up is meant to enhance your beauty ! Not cover it up . It’s not classy to wear a lot . I appreciate that very much about you ! The clean , clear natural beauty . Thank you for being you .
That was so much fun Anna!
Next maybe we can do the going out fancy makeup look 🤗
Much love to you ❤️😚
I have been looking for a natural-look makeup routine for SO LONG. I’ve been going without because I’d rather go without than look like some of these instagram posts! Thank you!
"I've never followed rules anyway, I like to create my own." - Anna Bey
I love how natural your makeup is. You are so lovely. Finally someone who doesn’t do all the caked on eyeshadow and contour. Simply stunning!!
Hadn't ever thought of using concealer on my lid/brow area. Or using it *after* foundation. I always thought it was to go *under* foundation. Good stuff. I use clear mascara to keep my eyebrows in place.
" i take whatever brush i want" - i love it!
I like this kind of look, so lovely and classic. I can't stand the instagram look where the contours look like dirt tracks on your cheeks and the highlights make you seem like you are summoning aliens from outer space. Gaaah...too bright! My eyes!
Continuous Self-Improvement I am laughing, this is so accurate!
Summoning aliens 😂😂😂 i do love a beaming highlight still I know you have a point
😂
Lol!!
Wish I could like this comment for more than once...
You do the natural look to perfection. How do you look with the tiniest little line of taupe colored eye shadow under your lower lashes? No mascara on lower lashes? You look beautiful! Thanks for sharing!!
“No ladies - I take any brush I want” 😂 same girl same
I love your style, your attitude, and everything you present. And knowing you love makeup companies that don't test on animals makes me love and admire you even more!
I love you even more when you talk about products that dont test on animals!!! you are a wonderful soul!!!
05:09 ahh yes!! I have to say it irks me when a makeup artist misses someone's neck and ears. Sometimes a little blending down the chest is needed too.
Great video, Anna ♡
The more videos of yours I watch, the more I like you! You made me laugh so much when you said you were not going to be stingy in the CC cream department!
Keep up the good work: you are doing a very good job!
You're classy, and so REAL. It's hard to find that anywhere in the world these days.
You look amazing with just a few products. Wished I had flawless skin like yours.
Anna , please do your evening makeup tutorial and your favorite makeup products 🙏🏼❤️
I really love your personality , the way u present yourself and the way you talk .......you are giving me a wise medival princess vibes bt with modern clothes 💜💜💜
I would recommend you primer by Ingrid make up. There are three types of that primer. I use matifying one. it's so silky and smooth
Love how you went in for the collab. This lady knows what she wants!!👏👏👏👏
I love how natural, elegant and flawless your make-up looks!
I'm gonna try it ❤️ I usually never use make up but this is perfect. Just what I was looking for.
i love your brows shape! I wish my brows were higher up like that
Haha, I agree about the eyebrows, very tricky to do to look natural and even. I'm with you!
Hi Anna. Love your content. Can you please make a video on how ladies should have their nails done? Thank you
Nice to see an easy, natural looking makeup tutorial. You're beautiful before and after which has as much to do with your personality and your appearance. Thx.
I love how concern she is with animals. She prefer cruelty free products. Such a class and kind hearted woman🥰❤️❤️
I love you !!! A lot of people don’t understand the purpose of your channel but I think your channel is great.
Do a morning and evening skin care routine 😫
Excellent make-up class Ana. You are a natural Swedish beauty. With your natural features that you have inherited, looks lovely with or without make-up. Thank you for a professional make-up class.
I use that same foundation!!!! I love it and I get so many compliments on my skin when I use it!
i really appreciated that you pointed out your scars and pores even though we couldn’t see them, it’s always nice to know that women as beautiful as you have problem like us
If I can be quite honest...i don't think that the thick lashes flatter your face and your idea of an elegant style (from what I watched it's what you strive for). Light, feathered lashes, yes, they can look youthful and elegant. But when they are very dark (esp for a blonde), very curved and kind of bunched together they give off a very cheap vibe.
I immediately thought the same
False
True true
Skin care is the key to any makeup application. I am loving Dior Dreamskin for primer. I wear it alone after skincare routine for my “natural” days. You are beautiful. Thank you!!
My elderly mother (RIP) jokingly called primer “spackling” because it filled in the cracks...😊
😂😂THAT is just too funny!😂
You should try doing fractional with PRF this really helps large pores. Wonderful results !
