The Dark Fairy: Ivy Panniers Making Process (Foundations Revealed 2021 competition costume)

Hi, Friends! Here is how I made the panniers for the Dark Fairy costume I’ll be entering into the Foundations Revealed competition this year. It’s more of a vlog than a tutorial, and I went into this part of the project without much of a plan at all. I hope it gives you some insight into my thought process making these and inspiration if you’re trying something similar for yourself!

This costume was made to fit my friend Katherine since I am pregnant and the character is not. She is an amazing seamstress and historical costumer and you can find her here:
