Peter and Bobby Brady get into an argument -- and split their bedroom in half! #BradyBunch | Now streaming on Paramount+ Where to watch: para.mt/BradyBunch
I love the incidental music at 2:25. They often use that music when the kids want to listen to the radio. Instead of playing anything that the kids would actually listen to (and that the producers would have to license and pay for), they start playing that music with the trumpets blaring.
I think they are both equally to blame. Peter shouldn't have agreed to be Bobby's slave. Had it been me, I would've treated Bobby out to a movie or taken him to a restaurant, but that's it. At the same time, Bobby was getting a little greedy for all of the things that Peter was doing for him.
@@crpsaiyan Peter turned him into a monster. Your idea of a one time "date" as a reward is good, then the obligation is over and done with. Not a lifelong slave/master relationship.
He didn't agree to it, he begged for it! He ought to have had a chat with Greg before making this decision about what Bobby can be like when his older brothers are under an obligation to him. Greg knows!
@@alondralabute2310 I stand corrected. Peter never should've made a promise to be Bobby's slave like that. At the same time, Bobby shouldn't have gotten so greedy afterwards either.
There is a door to bathroom in the hall, it's shown in a few episodes and most notably in the episode where Cindy loses her moms earrings, Alice enters and leaves that way when she changes the towels which is why Cindy didn't see her.
There are too many doors to that bathroom. Everytime you go in there you have to lock three doors - the ones to the two bedrooms, and the one to the hallway.
@@kaitiscarlett9022 I think Alice probably has a bathroom downstairs near her room which is near the laundry room with the door to the kitchen. I can't imagine Alice has to go through the parents' or kids' rooms to use the bathroom.
I’m always bashing Greg in these clip uploads, so I’m happy to say that I finally get to see him give very mature, calm and levelheaded advice to his younger siblings!
@user-hd3dc5up6i: If that is the case then totally ironic Casting. Miss Mary Treen Played the part of "Rose" who was the Original Housekeeper before "Aunt Bea" arrived in "Mayberry." Then Mary Treen went on to be "Kay" who was "Alice's" momentary replacement on "The Brady Bunch." As if that weren't enough Mary Treen later Played the part of "Howard Cunningham's" long ago Schoolteacher on "Happy Days." Which is of course the Show where Ron Howard continued his career when he finished up with "The Andy Griffith Show." And the moral of The Story? I don't get out much!😂🤣😂😉🎤👮♂️🏍📺B.W.
So are we suppose to think there are no plugs on the other side of the room even though there is usually a lamp beside Peters bed and that Peter isn't smart enough to just use the hallway door to get into the bathroom.
....I'm noticing that Greg is picking up Mike's caring (yet, direct) way of handling a "Brady" situation, yet letting them figure it out themselves (1:08).....but Bobby is being a tad childish, with his reactions (2:49) ...but, damned if he knows how to push Peter's BUTTONS (0:29).....
It's great they work things out and it was wrong with Bobby to take advantage of Peter being grateful for saving his life but Peter made a big deal about it in the first place I don't think that ladder would have killed him just given him minor injury probably.
This must be where my sister and I got the idea lol We separated our room with a line of tape down the middle in the 70s cuz she was a slob lmao The tape on the closet hanger bar was still there when my mom passed away in 2021.
I'm surprised Peter didn't ask Mike for his den to have for his bedroom like he did for Greg. That could've been an easy escape for Peter to get away from Bobby. If Mike let Greg use the den no reason he wouldn't have let Peter.
"I'M SMILIN' SEE?!" One should never make a promise lite Peter did to Bobby. This episode preceded an Andy of Mayberry episide, where Andy saved Gomer Pyle from a small fire in the gas station that he worked at, and Homer became a pest in trying to repay Andy, as well ad an episode of Gomer Pyle USMC, where Sergeant Carter saved Gomer from a hand grenade that he misthrew, and Gomer also became a pest repaying Sgt. Carter. Thus Brady Bunch episode was followed by a Diff'rent Strokes episode a few years later, when Willis saved Arnode's life, and Arnold became a pest repaying Willis.

Poor Pete. Outsmarted by a pip-squeek. 😂
Two years difference between them. Besides, it's Comedy with a morality tale.
I'm sorry to say Peter brought this on himself. After all, he agreed to be Bobby's slave.
Yes, he certainly did! Self-inflicted wound.

"The bathroom's on MY side of no-man's land!" I guess Peter will have to go to the bathroom by way of the girls' room.
Interesting that there is no bathroom in the house that is accessible without having to go through a bedroom. At least not to my awareness.

They don’t have a toilet anyways, maybe the Dittmeyers will be hospitable.
I mean I don’t blame Greg for wanting his own space
Greg was getting Hawk Tuah from Marcia
Gregg needed his own bate space.
Jan should've gotten her own room!
I don't think Jan would've gotten a room for herself before Marcia would.
Peter rules!
Now Peter knows how Greg felt when Bobby took advantage of him.
Bobby was turning into a real stinker in the latter episodes.
But, how is Jan feeling about this situation?

Part of the music is from the episode season 4 goodbye hello Alice season when Alice works at the Golden spoon diner😊

What is all the talk they never had a toilet in The Brady household and I heard I had bobbie flush the toilet.
😮😮😂😂
Was that an actual flush at the end? I guess they called in the Foley artist for that sound effect.
Yeah since we have been led to believe the Brady bathroom didn't have any toilets.
What cracked me up was Peter’s reaction when Bobby mentioned the bathroom was on his side
@@NichOlsonSmooth Peter was like, "Oops, I should've spread this tape a bit differently."

This scene is hilarious
So much wonder if there was an actual episode with Marcha ,Jan & Cindy,s Real Father on it who would be the actor who played that role

Moral of the story don’t give people (or younger siblings) an inch, or they will take a mile! You can be nice but not OVERLY nice…
This is the oldest trope in the TV Universe. It was used in I Love Lucy, Flintstones, Addams Family and who knows what else?
That's because a lot of those shows used the same writers.
There was a Happy Days episode where Ralph and Pitsie shared an apartment and they put tape on floor to divide their areas
Potsie
I think Gillian’s Island used it too.
@@bfpierce I'm trying to remember an episode from that series where they use it and none immediately comes to mind, but yeah, they MUST have used it.
Peter and Greg are my favs out of the boys Bobby is annoying
I agree. I never did like Bobby much.
Remember when Bobby all most fell off a ladder and felt he had too to serve Greg? 😮
I'm surprised Peter didn't ask Mike for his den to have for his bedroom like he did for Greg. That could've been an easy escape for Peter to get away from Bobby. If Mike let Greg use the den no reason he wouldn't have let Peter.
Let Bobby move into the garage

On the Andy Griffith Show, all those middle-aged men were all single, except for Otis, the town drunk. Wasn't that strange?
The ready unch
Bunch
The toilet they didn't have 😆
Oh..you wanted to see their toilets?
I think this upset Jan.
If I had been such a little snoot to my older brother, he would have dangled me out the window.
Robot family
No, Good family with morals. Something many people can't understand today.
