Please don't watch Animal really . whatever perception you have built about Bollywood overall and the actor in it will go down. there are far better movies , action films specially made in the Indian movie industry hope you will watch Dhoom 2. also for the classics I would really suggest you to watch Andaj Apana Apana and underrated comedy film . it's comic relief overall. also horror comedy genre in India has got some of the best works ever produced.
Animal might not be their type of movie, but I think they’ll enjoy the music & bgm score of it. It is one of the best albums to come out of Bollywood in recent times!!

Why recommend a movie that misrepresents our culture and depicts men from our country as mere rabid animals devoid of empathy? There are plenty of recent films with exceptional soundtracks that are far more worthy of recommendation.

For classic comedy any film by Priyadarshan is absolute blast. My personal recommendations would be Bhagam Bhag, De Dana Dan, Hera Pheri and Phir Hera Pheri(its like second part). The star cast in these movies is huge so you'll be introduced to a lot of Bollywood actors and actresses too.
A lot of Malayalam movies have amazing storylines and absolutely gorgeous music/soundtracks. They’re not anything like the typical “Bollywood” movies. Unfortunately I don’t know any off the top of my head but I’m sure many of your viewers will be able to recommend some great Malayalam movies for you to watch and react to.
Off the top of my head.. Manjummel boys.. The sound design is beautifully done nd the story is anyway really good..

I don't think Indian public is that ruthless when it comes to gossiping. 95% public just don't care about it. Rest are quite moderate. While, most of the fans worship these actors. These are fan made video and they are often sensitive about critics from other fan club. Just a Fanwar kinda thing.
though we recently have seen a change about public's perception towards bollywood. Covid time was rough for industry, OTT platforms were competing with box office, too many scandals with media adding fire to it. Everyone seems to down with the industry. And People really thought industry was gone. But as I said before, largely people don't care and when good movies hit box office. All that hate and gossip was just on twitter I guess.

Pathan is the most overrated and over pumped views movie of the year. No story, pathetic over the top action and movie was hyped to be houseful by scam through corporate bookings to mark houseful re-entry of King Khan though those theaters were not physically houseful, just tickets bought to pump up the count and create a hype as if movie is extremely good. I literally left the theater with boredom after 20 minutes of 2nd half of the movie.
