Thank you sooooo much for such an amazingly beautiful video. Just gloriously beautiful natural scenery, nature sounds + village scenes. No dialogue, no music, 100% pure nature. So natural! So peaceful! Thank you beyond words, for sharing what some of us would never, ever have a chance of ever seeing. Heaps of thanks!
Amazing scenery, beautifully filmed. I like your filming style very much: no panning, no zooming, no tilting... it makes my head quiet. Moving pictures, a great idea; I think I copy this idea in my next video's. Thanks again!
Beautiful. I trekked the circuit in '86, too, and this brought a lot of memories back. Beautiful pics of Tilicho Lake. On Poon Hill it was all cloud and we didn't get a view. I didn't manage any kind of camera, chose binoculars instead, so I have no pictures and only memories. I set off on my own from Beshisahar but made some friends along the way, one guy that I still keep up with to this day. We stayed in village houses all along the way eating dahl bhat every night by the stove. We took six weeks to do the circuit and even then we didn't want to come back to the real world. We managed to get our trekking permits extended by a very surprised policeman in a little village. He had the magic rubber stamp. It was a real shock when we saw and heard our first motor vehicle and I wanted to turn around and go back up! Unfortunately for trekkers the road is probably a long way up into the trail now. The video is great, especially as it has no soundtrack except for the noises of the villages and the nature. Thank you.
You sure have a very good camera....filming quality. And like it very much, more about the surrounding than self. Thanks for sharing. Heading there this Oct/2015
Some good memories from when I did it in 2012. Good steady filming and and each scene nicely composed. Good use of refelctions. I found it quite relaxing watching.
Superb! The only possible improvement I can think of is, naming the peaks and the places on-screen. Were most of the close-ups of the Annapurnas' summits?
Stunningly beautiful video. My son and I are going on a 18-days trekking in Nepal next year. We look forward to experience some of what you've filmed. Kim. - Denmark.
Great Work!! photographer's mind at work, stunning .. just amazing. I will be making the trip next week. hope to capture some of the moments that you have documented so well.
Hi Sloth Bear It is the classic Annapurna Curcuit Route starting at Besi Sahar. Sometimes I tried some side paths but mostly it is the normal route. At Pisang I took the upper Pisang route. Around Manang I made excursions to Milarepa cave, Ice lake and Tilicho lake and stayed there over night (in a tent). On the other side of the Thorong La pass I also tried to reach the north Annapurna base camp, a path only few people make. But I had to admit that this wasn't possible for me and my equipment (I had no cooking equipment with me). So I had to turn back without having been there.
+MyHPTube Wow! Nevertheless you were able to see so much diverse landscapes! I was thinking of doing this trek next year in the spring. Do you recommend to have a guide? Without having been there before.. :)
+Sloth Bear For me it was the first time in Nepal. I found it quite easy to go alone. The main route is always easy to find. The most important thing for me was to get used to the altitude. That was one reason for the side excursions at the Manang region. You can do these excursions also without having a tent, then you have to climb up in the morning and return in the afternoon.
+Sloth Bear At Thorong La everything went fine. I startet at the lower camp (4530m) early in the morning. It is also possible to sleep at the higher camp (4880m). It is quite long because you have to go up to 5420m and then down to Muktinath at 3650m. The place where I had to return was a side excursion to North Annapurna base camp. That is south of Jomson. I found that path on the Annapurna map thast I bought. This is a place where olmost noboys goes and it is not always easy to find. Maybe I would try it again with better equipment and very good weather, but local people told me not to do it alone. But it was a good experience anyway because I came through villages where not so many tourists pass and the people were more happy to see one
Beautiful reminder of doing it in 1998. No words,no hero mountaniars, just wonderful scinary. Thank you.
Excellent video, my friend. No unnecessary music. Just pure nature. Great work.

A video without words, but this marvelous landscape does not need words, it speaks for itself.
Extraordinary photography and presentation with no music. Very impressive.
One of the best video of Annapurna circuit! Very raw
The best video I’ve seen. I’ve done all the major treks. Some several times. This film is my favorite.
