I just bought a slightly [low kilometers] used CT125 and appreciate your list of accessories! After a few off-road rides, I decided that front shocks were the first big upgrade, followed by rear shocks.
yeah especially that front end when it hits a rut on a dirt road and sends a more shuttle shake through the bike. 13t front well worth having and cheap too
I got caught in the rain yesterday and I mean it was pouring like hell... After a while and some mileage. The rain was like nails coming into my face (we don't have helmet laws here) My body could only take it so long but boy the bike was a champ and wanted to go a lot more I went through big ass water puddles too it was great I'm more impressed now than I was before😊 mind you I still need a helmet probably and some rain gear. But I don't think nothing would stop me at that point. (Of course you want to make sure all your gear is packed good so it doesn't end up wet that's a side issue tho)
The bike looks really good , looks like a little Landrover of the bike world , you don't need a 1200cc to get anywhere, well done 👍 seems lighter is better especially if your on your own riding.
Well let's see, walk thru rack, headlamp rack , new seat buddy seat , bark busters ( good idea) , nice tires, shocks , buddy pegs, clock or something, spare fuel tank maybe, added a heat shield and a USB also phone holder extra mirror. I like it!
Good day Warro Can you tell me how you liked the Diablo seat you added to the CT125? Was it a worthwhile upgrade or only slight improvement? And what was the main complaint about the stock seat? As always, help the throttle twisted! Cheers!!
dont think mine was the diabilo version. got it from thailand and it was rubbish compared to the stock and had very little padding at all. if you see one like it-dont buy it...lol
they were 3.00 and just purchased on ebay under postie bike tyres. too big really and slowed the bike down. best idea use 3.00 rear and stock front and add 13t front sprocket to improve performance
Hey bro , you mentioned getting a bigger rear sprocket, well I'm here in the USA and a company called Rebel Gears makes custom sprockets for motorcycles, I have had 3 made and it only cost like $55.00 each and I think they ship internationally if not I'm sure you have somewhere in your country that does the same type of work... Just a tip for you.
Is there room for clear LED LIGHTS ON FRONT FORKS.? Fog or low visibility lights. May need wire protection for them. I dearly love your bike! Did you change out all parts?
to date i have never seen a luggage rack on the right. must be too hard to mod with the exhaust in the way. plenty of options on the left. only choice would be to have one custom made i'd say
I have the same headlight guard and rack. Did yours come with 4 spacers? Mine just came with 3. I was wondering if the shorted me. I installed without any and I’m wondering now if i should pull it off and fin another spacer
actually came with 4 so i'd say they did a short count. shouldnt be too hard to find something to use as a spacer from a hardware shop but using it would set it up my nicely i think
Thanks for sharing your thoughts. I curious about the top end speed. I'm going to be doing mostly street riding. I'm thinking gearing more for top speed. Would you think it would hurt the low end performance for the street?
You haven't mention your chain stretching in a while. Did the 41t rear sprocket eliminate that or did you go with a new chain? Love your videos on the CT125 and all the information you have given out! I'm stuffing my pennys into a piggybank for one of these. I just might have enough when they start showing up in numbers here in the U.S.
actually i bought the new chain a few weeks ago but still have not bothered putting it on the bike while i was just playing about with this cheaper front and rear sprocket changing. episodes on the bike. i might just carry on and see how it goes and when i have no choice do the lot then happy to hear you still enjoy the clips and you are still saving away
bike runs really well in all areas so its not a disappointing ride at all. not much i can say on the 500x side as of yet. since i picked it up roughly one week ago i have not ridden it and it still has just 3 klm on the clock. weather has been bad and i had a few ct125 clips to do. i plan to do my first ride run on the 500x within the next day or so as weather looks good
Hi Warro, just a couple of questions. I want to buy and fit the risers for the front mudguard. I seem to have read somewhere you had issues when you first fitted yours and you took them off? What do I need to consider and be careful about? Also would you consider the 41 rear and the 13 front to be the ‘ideal’ combination for hilly work and reasonable road riding? You mentioned that you had to redrill the rear 41 tooth sprocket? Can you not get a plug and play one? You are doing a great job! Andrew
no problem with the riser and works fine apart from some instructions to fit would have helped or even just a note saying -remove the horn and that would have saved me a mudguard dent. plus be carefully with fitting the bolts back in as it would be easy to cross thread them i'd try the 13t/39 stiock first and it may be good enough. if not then go for the 41t which is not a plug and play fit and i had to drill out the holes. maybe later a factory 41t will pop up or one which does do a direct fit to the rear hub
@@ridewithwarro .. don’t have one yet and don’t knowWhen any will be sent to floow’da, nonetheless I was just on eBay looking at them again when you replied, I like the one with matching rear square pad, looks like you could slide back as far as you want with the two.!!
That seems like a well thought out accessory selection recommendation. However, it looks to me that you would need that front mudguard lift modification in order to fit the big front tire. I would imagine that the stock front fender might not allow enough clearance for the larger tire, especially if it picks up a bit of mud during your ride. If you make a worst accessory clip, I bet that passenger seat tops the list. lol
yeah i suppose the clip should have said 3 plus 1...lol but there are a couple of nice accssories in that bunch of 21 for thse who have the bike and care to take alook at whats available and what not to buy

eah a helmet would be a plus thats for sure. good to hear you enjoyed the wet weather ride experience

true-no help required when your out and about in the scrub on that unit
exactly.a 125CC will bring you all the adventures you can create.
I'm waiting for Honda to add different colors before I buy, I prefer tan and black over red. I love every part of this setup 👍
yeah the tan is a bit of a camo style bike and blends in well with its surrounding too
It looks much more better with the new tyres
yeah i think your right plus the bike looks a bit meaner too...lol like i could ride it on water...lol
I like the look of the rack in front of the seat it looks really useful.
have not tried it out to place a few goodies on it yet but its nice and solid so i have no doubt that it will handle that task very easy
Bike looks great. You've done well finding what works best on it.
you could say i have been a bit busy...lol

God bless you and enjoy it.
I would if I had one. Maybe some day I can find one
I hope so too!
New tire really complete the look of the bike. What is the top speed with the new sprocket setup ?
i totally agree-they make it really strand out! might do a clip from standing start to top speed shortly via GPS
I like it!noice custom!
I'm glad you like it
Beautiful back ground scenery. Where is it? You are one lucky soul!!! Bike and scene!!!
central nsw ustralia-great place for a run on a bike

thought has been on my mind on and off for a few weeks now or since i've watch okie's bike perform

have optional brackets for those but no lights

Warro can you provide a list of vendors for aftermarket parts Thanks RJ

do you know how the fuel economy was changed with the knobby tires and the two sprockets?
dont think it effected it that much -it appears to run just as well as before
What brand and size are the tires?
vrubber in 2.00-too big and slows the bike down. the 2.75 is much better and doesn't effect top end speed
is this color only available out of the us or something
I want it so bad :(
just in australia. comes in two colour tan and the red
Man I want one of these but I just caint find one.
just wait it out and when the time comes pounce quick!

good to hear
Don't much care for the fender lift looks
yeah its different alright but looked a lot better once the chunky version of off-road tyres were on the bike.
