Yeah, I was using thorn in these couple of days and am loving the changes. The issue am having is the low mag size and the remanent thing does track me farther or at least looks for me if am on a corner. Besides that it feels great

I want to love Thorn. Thorn was my baby but Thorn takes a lot of work. You have to get a kill and chase down a remnant. There are so many other HC that do the same thing with out the extra work. Hawk moon and Ace all you have to do it hit shots. You don’t have to chases anything. A legendary with kill clip you just reload. It hurts my heart that Thorn is not good stat wise and in PVP it’s a gun that you have to work so hard to make work.
When bungie eventually brings out a catalyst for Thorn they should make it so the catalyst gives Thorn more range and slows the RPM down to 120 RPM turning Thorn into a 120 RPM Hand Cannon with the same damage profile as a 120... Thorn has been around for so long in my opinion it would be a nice change to see Thorn as a 120 RPM hand cannon, I strongly feel Thorn being turned into a 120 would feel absolutely amazing.... It would also give us another Exotic 120 RPM hand cannon if this change with a catalyst was real which would be pretty sweet considering as of right now there is only one other exotic 120 hand cannon in the game.
thorn has low range, 30m is bad. ace mori has 30m too now, a good hand cannon has 34 base, perfect one has 36 like nation beast and god ones have more like fatebringer timelost with KW - EP or EP - KC can reach 42m 3x tap , or kw 39m. 30m is just too low, and for that range smgs auto ammit is just better option.
Plus it is a big lie from bungie hcs have been buffed because hc lost rangefinder 2-4m range and the low range ones got 1m about. they simply levelled up the field between handcannons, coz now a godroll exalted truth reach 34-35m instead it had 38+ with rf,most hcs are now around 30 to 34m except 2 , plus rose and spare which can get to 37 with slide/op activated, but again just 2 140 have god tier stats.

They've been saying "we nerfed immortal nerfing range finder". Simply false because 1 they buffed the smgs base range 2 immortal is not the only weapon with range finder. My palindrome has less range than last season

I will try it out again but right now on console it's auto rifles galore!!
Maybe it's because I never really used Thron very much, but that screen flash on every shot is very off-putting

Ace has 35 meters of range. It only gets 30 meters when you have Mori.
But I will agree, Thorn’s range is still kind of shit anyway
