I am loving the videos of your new babies! Gordo is living up to his name😂😂😂. Delilah la Flaca is so beautiful, and I'm confident the kiddos will love each other.❤❤❤❤
Delilah and both together are sooooo cute 🥰 ❤❤! Happy they found their way, and people with siblings know, fights are an unavoidable part of the game 😂!
What about the mom is anyone getting her spayed so this doesn't happen again??? Hopefully someone will adopt her too💙🙏💙....Thanks so much for adopting Gordo and Delilah💖💖
Pro cat parent tip: as long as Gordo doesn’t make growling sounds or weird noises while he hisses it’s all FINE. He’s just telling her HE was there first and HE is the dominant one (cat hierarchy). Also fighting/wrestling is a normal behavior for newly introduced kittens (I know they’re siblings but they don’t really have this notion in their system)
You are the sweetest ever !! Thanks for rescuing these lovely kitties. I did the same too when a hurricane was headed our way, I took those babies in. It's 7 years later, no regrets.
That hissing is totally normal, we had 2 sister cats for almost 16 years and whenever we brought one home from the vet the other one at home would hiss and act crazy towards her :) They hadn't been separated ever.
Chelsea, you did the right thing taking the 2nd kitten. In a couple of weeks they will be inseparable and full of mischief. I over the years have rescued 6 cats. Many of the mothers kittens I found homes for and I’ve ended up with 3 cats each from different litters plus one winters night the mother cat joined my happy throng. Sadly I only have 3 left, two boys 14 years, & 12 years old now and their little Princess sister just gone 12 years. Miss Kitty mom lived with us for 7 years and passed away one night very quietly. I do not know what I would do without these three used to be Feral cats. They are my everything. I love what you have done. Looking forward to more videos when you have time. 😻😻😻🙏🇨🇦🐾🐾
🎶Hey there, Delilah, what’s it like in New York City? 🎶 I do not think these kittens could have been “given” to a better person than you! Congratulations again! ✨🩵
30 years ago I had one young cat. I decided to go ahead and be a cat lady. I got a second kitten. They were not related. They did become best friends. The amusing part is following this decision to be a cat lady, I met the person I would marry. He came with a house and a cat. Integrating the three took longer but it all worked out. Over the years, we fostered, we adopted, we sometimes had several cats. Now, we just have one and she is senior and blind enjoying her old age with two humans who spoil her. You are doing great with taking these two in. As soon as you are not stressing about following a life plan, you get all kinds of opportunities. ❤
❤️🩹 P.S.S. Seeing the Mama cat soon to be "childless" made me sad for a second, but you have done the best thing for those two little fur babies!! Will you have any updates going forward on the Mama cat? Hopefully she'll be adopted too ... 🥰
@@ShellyBomb luckily cat moms don’t really have a huge attachment with kittens. They can have many litters in a short time span so they only will raise them to a point before they’re on their own anyways.

Don’t feel bad and overwhelmed. My spouse and I have raised 15 cats in three generations from TX to HI covering 40 years of marriage. Every cat was unique with their own different personality. You just have to make sure they always feel warm, loved, and safe.
Congratulations, Chelsea ! 🎆You are doing a wonderful job raising these adorable fur balls ! 😺One thing that is an awesome addition to cat toys/enrichment is to grow your own wheatgrass 🪴at home. It is super easy and kinda fun to watch it grow. It is also super nutritious for the kittens. You can find the growing kits online. I am really enjoying your videos and I wish you all the best ! I hope the algorithm shares your channel with "cat people" ! ☀Blessings from a crazy Cat Lady from the West Coast.....🌅
Calicos are predominantly female - and oh so sweet!!!! You've got this!!! They may hiss at first because it is all new - but if you let them run around together - they will be good! I've had cats all my life (and I'm old!) and even if the first day is not good- they end up best friends. Sometimes it takes a few days - sometimes it's instant! You are doing great!!!
I’m a vet and can confidently say you are an A++ kitten owner. Doing all the right things! Was cracking up at your gloves 😂 we have a pair at the office that go down to our elbows…
Thank you for taking the poor baby in!! Bless you. Will mama cat get rescued as well?? Poor mom, she needs to get spayed and am hoping to get a forever-loving home. ❤
I know! I don't live in America. If I was anywhere near, I'd give a home to the mum. It really upset me when she was outside in that thunderstorm. She'd love to be in a caring home.
Congratulations on Delilah and reuniting her with her brother Gordo! Just check with your vet, but as someone who has had several cats, you will want to get your cats fixed usually by the 3rd month. It may sound young, but it does prevent adult health related illnesses in both male and female cats. Plus, female cats can reproduce by the 4th month. Again, as a loving cat advocate, check with your veterinarian to make the best decision. Again, congratulations!
Delilah seems like an awesome cat! (and so does Gordo! And he is soooo gorgeous!). Just a fun fact, ALL calico cats are female. There are the VERY rare calicos that are male, but incredibly rare and they are sterile - and may have other genetic problems, because it's not natural for a calico to be male. You're doing great with them. 🙌🏽 ❤
Also... the overwhelm at it being too soon is really normal. Especially going from a no-pet household. It will pass and you will see how much they actually enrich each others lives. And when you do go out, they will be less upset as they have each other.
Cat Ladies Unite! I to have a calico and they are the best. I rescued mine as a stray kitten shortly after moving to Florida. She has been the best companion for 9 years.
As an international cat sitter (looked after 49 cats last year) and first time viewer you did a great job with the intro. Hissing is fine. Just establishing the pecking order. Light bats are ok but as you rightly said you don't want an all out fight. I took my brother's senior cat about a month to fully accept 2 new kittens. Sure they'll figure it out.
That pet pen is a Godsend. i used it for my two cats, Biddie and Nayla when they were kittens. i put them in there when i was cleaning up the bathroom.
They will be fine together, especially growing up together. They will either get really close or just learn to tolerate each other…Feeding them together is the key !
I am sooooo happy that you got her! You can’t imagine how Gordo’s life will be 1000% more happy and fun!! Having cats for 30 years, I can tel that it’s the best decision! Wish you all the best, if need any advice - just tell, we’ll share all we have 😊
And you said you don't think you are particularly maternal. You have the instincts of a great Momma!! So sweet

I think almost all of us go through the same “what did I just do 😐” phase when getting a pet, especially a second one! I know I did when I foster failed my second dog. I promise you’ll feel better soon and it IS the best thing for Gordo to have cat company! Just have to tough it out the first few days but just remind yourself that you’re more worried about it than they are 😊
I knew I was going to be a cat lady when I was 21. I’m 64 now and I currently have two cats. i live in a very cat friendly building and all the cats that live here get to roam, at least part of the time. This is what heaven is like in my opinion
I shared a lot of your doubts before i became a cat parent. Cats are wonderful life coaches if you are willing to listen and they are some of the most social and respectful beeings on this planet. When they love you they do so unconditonally and they will never lie to you like people do. Gordo loves and trust you. You can see it by him sleeping near you with his belly unprotected and even let you touch it. You are a great cat parent. And your little tutors will help you find your inner peace for sure.
How fabulous Chelsea, it’s so much better for everyone to have two cats if you can. You’re the best taking these little ones on ❤. You are rocking it as a Millennial cat mum. ❤❤❤
I am a dog person. Not a cat person. But after all of your kitty kitten content ..... omg I want a kitten! LOL your babies are trooooooooooooooooooo cyyyyuuuutttteeeeeeee ❤
I rescued a couple of calicos. My last I named Elsie (after a piano teacher I had as a kid). My ex used to call her "elisifer" because she'd take your face off if she didn't like you. She was not one to suffer fools (neither was my teacher). She'd been lost in the woods and was about a year old so pretty feral when I got her. She was my heart and soul for 18.5 years before crossing over on July 4th 2020. She was my guard dog, best relationship I ever had! Delilah is the spitting image. Still miss that little monster.
In all honesty, they did REALLY well together, especially it being their first meeting. Before you know it, they’ll be best buddies. ☺️ It just takes time.
Having 2 kittens cats 10000% easier they got each other to play sleep ect together ❤ you won't regret it ... I'm glad I got 2 .. I had one for 18 years she was hard work ...but now I got 2 its perfect

I love everything about this vlog! I recently adopted 2 sibling kittens that were abandoned. BEST THING I EVER DID! All the best to you and your new babies! ❤😻😻
You Ms Chelsea are an excellent cat mama. Your new addition is a sweetheart. Gordo and Delilah will have their spats and rough play, but that’s normal. Figuring out the pecking order. Congratulations!! ❤️😻
I took in a stray momma who had 6 babies. I already had a 2 year old cat. For 8+ weeks i was going back and forth trying to make everyone happy but 4 months later everyone was adopted out except one which i kept so my cat Sammy could have a friend. Take it one step at a time and breathe. You got this!!!
They are doing SO GREAT together!! I'm sure they remembered each other. I'm so happy Gordo has Delilah now!! Watching kittens play is the absolute best. Hope things are calming down and you're feeling a bit less overwhelmed! You got this, Chelsea!!
What a joy! I am a cat person even though I have a dog currently. Nothing better in the world than to be a pet parent! 🐱🐶 On the side note, it looks like Gordo knows that's his sister! They're getting along wonderfully as kittens should 💕 Hope their mom is ok and taken care of?
Your kittens are adorable. You did the right thing adopting them both. They are good therapy for you. You seem so much happier and you now have a purpose.
So happy that you were able to give Gordo's sister a safe home!! I can relate so much to the overwhelm of a new kitten(s) because my husband and I just adopted an 8-week old male kitten to be friends with our 2-year-old girl. There was a lot of hissing at first, but now our girl grooms the little man and cuddles him when he is not trying to wrestle with her. We have always had adult cats, and -wow- adjusting to a kitten was a challenge!! I keep saying it's like having a toddler with teeth and claws on a sugar high! But we love him so much. These kitties are going to bring you so much joy, Chelsea! You're doing a great job 💗
Longtime silent viewer here but I have to comment on this one as a huge cat lover. You are doing these kitties such a HUGE favor by giving them a loving, caring, and most importantly respectful home. You give them the space they need and don’t have expectations of them to be cuddly, playful, etc. I also adopted a calico from a shelter a few years ago and she was reeeeally slow to warm up but by giving her space has given her the chance to let both her playful and sassy sides show. I doubt I’ll comment again but wanted to say I love your videos and you are my #1 comfort UA-camr who I would love to run into one day 🐱💛
You are an excellent Cat Mom!! 2 beautiful cats. They are going to have so much fun together - playing, wrestling, bathing, napping. Plus giving you individual attention. The hissing is fine. That is the way they are setting boundaries with each other - it is just their little warning. They are doing wonderful. I am so happy for all 3 of you!!
I have a special place in my heart for brindles as the cat that was around for my transition from teenager to young woman ... then to technically be the first cat I 100% was responsible for ... Bibs. RIP. She lived a long, wonderful life and I'll always treasure her memory. Brindles are full of spunk just FYI. Curious, can you speak to what you're doing about Delilah for when she goes on heat? Will you be spaying her?
As someone who was one and done with my first kitty.... I foster failed.... TWICE. But honestly, wouldn't change any of it for the world. They were slowly introduced so now they are the bestest of friends (thanks to Jackson Glaxy's method). I am SOO done at 3 though. 😂 Major props to anyone who has more than 3. Two was that perfect balance IMO. That being said, if a Calico happened to come across my way, there is a chance it could be a 4 cat household. 😵💫 (I think Calico's are soooo pretty. 😍 So I am slightly jealous haha.) Delilah is soo gorgeous!! A TIP! Once they are older, I would highly recommend looking into a litter robot. They are expensive and not for everyone, but not having to scoop after my 3 every day and just emptying the bag every few days makes the cost sooo worth it (for me). Plus, when I am not home, I know they don't have to step on each others leavings (I used to have four boxes and they would only ever use one so to be fair, i never had to clean the other ones). Just something to keep in mind. 🥰
How beautiful is she ! I Loved my Little 3 colors cat Girl.... One if the best cat I had. And I love that she is short hair ! You can Say no to Gordo when he is biting.... When they are very young they don't understand but AT this âge they Do. My Boy was nippy too and still is sometimes, and when I Say no , on a loud voice je stop immidiately. Congratulations on you superbe car family !!!!!!
Love the cat-content! Cats just make a home so much cosier. I had two cats as swell, siblings like yours, brother and sister. They were my baby’s for over 6 years. I loved them like my children. They were family. I miss them every day and often think about the fact, that they would have loved my now one year old son as well. So now I tell him about them. He loves cats so much.
Bonus video to bring home the new baby!! Back with the NYC/Offline event content on Friday 💘Hope you're having a great week, friends!

They’ll go through growing pains with each other. But sometimes what looks like fighting is actually them playing.

And just like that, you're a family of 3 ❤

her too💙🙏💙....Thanks so much for adopting Gordo and Delilah💖💖

What a joy! I am a cat person even though I have a dog currently. Nothing better in the world than to be a pet parent! 🐱🐶 On the side note, it looks like Gordo knows that's his sister! They're getting along wonderfully as kittens should 💕 Hope their mom is ok and taken care of?
Welcome home/to your fur-ever home Delilah!! Love you already! ❤
Your kittens are adorable. You did the right thing adopting them both. They are good therapy for you. You seem so much happier and you now have a purpose.
Cuteness overload! They'll be fine! Gordo needed a pal, he's a live wire! Delilah seems even tempered, good match.
😍 So I am slightly jealous haha.)
Delilah is soo gorgeous!!
Awww what a sweet and beautiful Calico kitty! Welcome home Delilah! Now we need a Mama Cat update!!
Thank you for taking care of these little fur angels 😇❤️🪽
Girl you are killing it, best cat mum those beauties can have! Congratulations on your new additions 🎉
The casts are multiplying 😃
🐈🐈 P.S. Yep, you are "officially a cat lady" but such a beautiful & young one at that + you've changed the lives of two very lucky kitties 😍 ...
Omg the cages being face to face!
YESSSSS!!!!!!!! You are such a cat mom now. The cat distribution system works. Mom of 9 furrballs and 8 foster kittens 😸
