One of my favorite plays of the game is when K.C. goes into a zero coverage and blitzes everyone. There is a receiver wide open but you'd need to recognize it within a millisecond to get the throw out. that throw is unreal from the endzone POV. Someone one Reddit shared video of it from the that corner. The ball just drops right into williams' hands. Insane.
That free safety was in no man land. He clearly sees that backer got burnt on that double move he still went to double the third option instead give help to the linebacker up top
Nice work as always. Question: so in one of those plays they start out in basically 12 and when the running back Moves up to the line it becomes 3 by 2. Seems like metaphors are being mixed here but I’ll bet I got that right. Is that correct?
The defense has to call plays based on what the offense is doing. The offense thinks what will work and go out and tries do it. The defense has to guess what they think the offense is trying to do and pick a play to try to stop what they think theyre doing. This then sometimes let's the offense do something else to trick the defense. Like make it look like you're gonna do something based on your previous tendencies or the situation and go with something else to exploit that. Like maybe going deep on a play action on fourth and inches. Or running a draw play on 3rd and 7. Make it look like you'll pass but actually run instead.
So does Russell Wilson's pass to Tyler Lockett in the back corner of the endzone against the Rams count as a half throw away? If so, I believe *that* is the best half throwaway pass ever.
Rodgers really has the best arm in history and his 74 yard throw several years ago without setting his feet to Trevor Davis who of course didn’t catch it proves it even mahomes favre Vick and elway couldn’t do that
@@ericguerrero3656 NFL isn't a skills competition. Rodgers doesn't have the killer instinct. Been in the NFL for 15 seasons and won a playoff game in only 5 seasons.
It's not a false start, but I can see why it looks like it is. Aaron starts to move up to call blocking assignment shifts, and the center snaps the ball prematurely. The center snapping the ball can't cause a false start flag, and the refs read it as Aaron stepping up to adjust assignments. Hence, no flag.
JT, this question may be out of your jurisdiction as it doesn't involve a quarterback, but I'll go for it anyway. I was watching a replay of this relatively famous play by the New Orleans Saints in which Steve Gleason blocks Michael Koenen's punt and Curtis Deloatch returns it for a TD (ua-cam.com/video/hYFU9Afj4cc/v-deo.html) and noticed that Deloatech, number 39, was about a count behind everyone else in coming off the ball (the angle at 8:37 does a great job of showing it). My question is: A. Am I really seeing this (i.e. is he really a step behind the rest of his punt block team?) and B. If so, is this intentional or poor defense by Deloatch? A follow up to this question then is: do d-lines ever do something like this, i.e. do they purposefully delay sending guys who are lined up on the line?
So everyone is like: Aaron Rodgers made the greatest throw ever to Jamaal Williams in the back corner for a TD, but i am like: THEY WERE ON THE THREE YARD LINE!!
