Not really. They have never seen Black people before. Most of the time they just want a picture to prove they were actually around a Black person. When you consider the population of China you begin to understand. For most of them they have a better chance of seeing Bigfoot. Much less meeting a Black person fluent in Chinese

I lived in southeast asia for a while. Most Chinese from mainland china have never seen Black people. To give you some context. It would be like a Chinese person coming to the Continent of Africa. Fortunately these Chinese at least ask can they take a picture. They also dont really have knowledge of the negative stereotypes. The kids are the best because they are just curious. They havent been taught Racism yet. All they know is Foreigner and local.
