Quick question though, during the pre-launch phase, I noticed that some of the landing spots you were driving fans to consisted of songs that would be featured on the upcoming album release. Does this not hinder the impact of sales numbers on the actual release date, being that fans will have already heard 4 or 5 songs? Or in this instance, is it a trade off of sales for the overall build-up of hype in general?

Shit man....I've gone through music marketing training and am implementing giving away free downloads with an email sequence behind it, but I've always thought free downloads were not the right way to go for a cold audience. It just wasn't working like a service based business like you mentioned in this video. I'm VERY interested to see the types of Free content I can offer as an alternative that leads them down a musical journey like you described. I know how to set up all the websites, email sequences, landing pages, etc...etc... but I think I just found (hopefully) what I'm looking for so I can switch it up and make it work better. I'm a Texas based Country artist with a decent following, live shows, and a growing fan base and I really think this can help move up to the next level, then the next, then the next. People dont buy records because they cant hear the music elsewhere (anymore). Give them the music, and theyll want to support by buying the record.
