    Angie...you are incredible 😊 I appreciate the fact that you blog about things that we are interested in. Also, I appreciate the fact so much that you let products speak for themselves in tests you run, giving us your honest opinion at the end. I order plenty of items that you demo or put on my wish list. However, I am so grateful that you do not push products on us. In addition, you put the time in with your videos in advance so that they are no longer than they have to be, which gives us more time to craft too. After watching hundreds of videos over this last year, I am gravitating to yours these days because of all the things I appreciate about you. Your love of crafting and appreciation of people comes through too. Not to mention, even though you have so many followers, you still take time to answer questions from us. KUDOS and THANK YOU SO MUCH...YOU ARE 👍😍 APPRECIATED.

    Hi Angie, I’m new to your channel and I’m loving it. I am new to the sublimation world and I’m slowly getting into the other crafts. My question to you is how do I know how much pressure is needed, when using a heat press? I just received mine yesterday and did a test run, but of cause there were some issues.

    • @AngieHolden
      @AngieHolden  2 роки тому

      If you don't have a heat press with a digital readout, it is really be feel. Just tighten until you think it is light, medium, or heavy.

    Angie I think you should create a manual about sublimation and what temperature guidelines . I'd be willing to purchase it.

    • @AngieHolden
      @AngieHolden  2 роки тому

      I feel like giving any set times and temperatures just steers people in the wrong direction. You really need to look for every single blank on the manufacturer's website.

    Angie, this is another excellent and helpful video! I appreciate and rely on all your help! I had wildly different results with ceramic ornaments and the easy press 2. I used the Cricut pressing mat and followed the manufacturer’s recommendation but wasted so much products with bad results. I was transferring photos and using the Sawgrass sg500. Any suggestions?

    • @AngieHolden
      @AngieHolden  2 роки тому

      Yea the EasyPress can be tough on some surfaces. Did you add the rubber pad over the top for heat distribution? And you might add some time too with the EasyPress versus heat press recommendations.

      @@AngieHolden thank you for your response. No I don’t Have a rubber mat to place on top. I had good results with one side, but when I did the other side it left tape
      Marks.

      You could try an adhesive spray instead so you don't have tape marks.

    Angie I LOVE your thorough videos! You’re the greatest! I recently purchased a VeVor 8 in 1 heat press. I have so much Cricut HTV and Infusible ink; however; I’m not sure the Cricut Heat Guide would help with the temperature, time and pressure, as their auto press suggestion. Is there any information I can find what time, temperature and pressure to use Cricut HTV and Infusible Ink with the VeVor Heat Press? I have searched the web and found nothing:(. Any advice will be greatly appreciated! Thank you!

    Do you have a vid on using the Cricut heat press on non Cricut items. (Socks, air fresheners, various ornaments etc). I find most time and temp lists for sublimation are for the full size heat presses.

    • @AngieHolden
      @AngieHolden  2 роки тому

      I use my EasyPress all the time. The EasyPress 2 should be fine on most things. You may find you have to add time occasionally. The original EasyPress doesn't get hot enough so you do need to add time to everything.

    Please help!!! I sublimated a white cotton poly blend shirt last night using glitter HTV. I used butcher paper underneath, in between the shirt, and above it at around 385…the sublimation piece and glitter piece came out beautifully but the heat press left a huge brown square across my shirt as if it was burnt- that faded eventually to yellow this has never happened to me before I’ve done quite a few shirts please help is there a way to maybe clean the heat press plate or something else?

    • @AngieHolden

      May have been something on the shirt. Try peroxide to remove.

    What if I’m just using a regular red 100% polyester shirt. I keep getting a box around the picture. Looks like a shiny scorch box the exact shape of my easy press. Can I get this out? Also, is the cause time or pressure?

    • @AngieHolden

      Some colors will do this. I would try putting paper between your item and the heat press. You can try reducing the temperature some as well.

    I really don't know how to INPUT temperature. I just see 1-250, but of course, that isn't a temperature. So how do those numbers translate to actual temperature?

    • @AngieHolden
      @AngieHolden  2 роки тому

      I am not sure I understand the question? Where are you seeing those numbers?

    • @ediiyama
      @ediiyama 2 роки тому +1

      @@AngieHolden
      When i am about heat pressing, I'll need to input time (seconds) & temp, right? Yeah!
      So, imputing time isn't confusing, but imputing temp. is quit confusing.
      I am expecting something like 1 degree, 2 degrees, etc, instead i see 1,2,3,...250 (25o is the maximum).
      So i went to try imputing "150", but after pressing the set button, temp. on screen went all the way to 170-190 degree Celsius.
      😏😣😣
      How do these number translate to temp. degree?

    • @AngieHolden
      @AngieHolden  2 роки тому

      Any heat press I have ever used the setting was in degrees. Not sure what press you are using? Perhaps there is a different setting and you need to change it?

    I bought a Vevor heat press that came with 2 pads but I don’t see any others using it on their press should I not use them ?? Could that be affecting my sublimation? I’m doing 400*\ 35sec and it came out with a green time in the black wording. I have the pressure on what I think is med. lol

    • @AngieHolden

      Green in your black would indicate you need more time or temperature.
