    This is really one of the best songs Versailles has ever released. No catchy melodic ASCENDEAD MASTER. No just-popular MASQUERADE. Just great composition and execution. Glad you enjoyed it. This is literally the only reaction video to this song on YT. I suggest you other little jewel called SILENT KNIGHT.

    Love that song, thak you for react to more Versailles^^. Their Lyrics always speak of vampirism, immortality and the questions and fears of the persons about his existence. This song talks about an immortal being who wanted to be beautiful but his true ugliness tormented him, so without any other choice he wanted to end his ¨life¨, but he found himself with the problem that he was reborn every time he tried to kill himself, until due to his death wish, ironically he became Shinigami (god of death whose image is terrifying) and if that wasn't enought.. the existence of a Shinigami is practically eternal and not killable.

    Great reaction!! I love your positive criticisms of the band. I don't know a whole lot about music and metal so I always appreciate hearing more experienced opinions on the music :) I've been listening to them for over 10 years but somehow I never heard this song so this way my first time too! I was blown away and I'm downloading this song instantly lol, one of my favourites already. I tend to avoid their long songs even though they end up being my favourites (God Palace, Faith & Decision, Princess, Revenant Choir, now this)
    Also I agree watching the concert is more enjoyable than just listening. Their shows are so fascinating to watch. The guitarists, drummer and bass players are all very talented. Kamijo has a great voice and stage presence.

      Thank you! I am always happy to hear that my knowledge of music gets out of my mouth in the right way and people enjoy the knowledge I have gathered of the years. I really can't wait to see these guys one day. :) Have a great day or night Ekaki!

      @@x666xIronMaiden I love to talk to people who are experts on things and learn from them :) I now notice how great the band really is and I appreciate more about them as Ive learnt more about music over the years. I would love so much to see them live but I live in Australia and no Japanese bands tour here :'(
      By the way, I dont know if youve heard of a Japanese band called The Gazette but theyre another favourite of mine. They arent power metal they are more alternative metal/hard rock, if you're into that. Some good heavier songs are Ugly and Deux. They also have good ballads like Baretta and Omnious. If you ever get the chance I'd love to hear your thoughts on them :) I dont think theyre as outstanding musically as the Versailles but I think their music is special in its own way. But as I said, I dont know that much about music haha
      Have a great night/day yourself!

    Ah~ they're a Symphonic, Visual-Kei, Power-Metal band.. and no.. they do not even sound like usual jrock.. but I understand the feeling; sometimes they play songs like "destiny the lovers, princess, ilussion" that songs are some kind of experimental visual kei, balad romantic stuff... anyway... far away from usual Power-Metal xD, that is a Kamijo thing, because sometimes he wants to play beeing a romantic someone, He seems to like that since Lareine and his influence of sint pop and romantic baroque..
    If you react to his solo career you will notice what I mean.^^

      yes I see what you mean. Without Kamijo, Jupiter sounds a bit more like standard symphonic power metal. And without Hizaki Teru Masashi and Yuki, Kamijo's solo work lacks the instrumental power of Versailles songs. This is why they're better together. Jupiter and Kamijos solo stuff is still good but not nearly as good. When people say they prefer Jupiter to Versailles, I'm like... really? Have you even listened to their music? I might be biased because I've been a fan for over 10 years and Jupiter is different from what I'm used to.
      I must say though, Jupiter and Kamijo's most recent songs were pretty good compared to their other work, I enjoyed them quite a lot. Especially Tears of the Sun by Jupiter (i like their new vocalist more than the previous) and Nosferatu, Mademoiselle and Emigre by Kamijo (not a fan of his use of english in the other songs tbh though they're good songs. For the song 'Vampire Rockstar' it sounds like hes saying 'Vampire Lobster' lmao). I think I prefer Kamijo's solo work cause even though there's no other amazing musicians with him, his songs still have that beautiful melody of Versailles songs. They could be Versailles songs. Jupiter just sounds like a different band, like a different Galneryus. I still love them though, I love Hizaki & Teru (I'm sad Masashi and Yuki are no longer in Jupiter :( )

    Ah, so you caught the thing with Versailles:) That's precisely why I like this band, that there shredding is actually extremely melodic and that the style overall has that classical vibe.
    When it comes to classifying the band I believe that they just group most Japanese metal under JMetal, however if you should pick it apart more I believe there in the symphonic metal (that I believe Yngwie Malmsteen is touted as the "creator" of).

    • @x666xIronMaiden
      @x666xIronMaiden  6 років тому

      Neo-classical is usually what I go by when talking about Yngwie, but I guess you could say he did symphonic as well.

    • @Zandman26

      Yeah your right it's neo-classical, just me having to much on my mind and it grabbed the wrong word:D
