As a native spanish speaker i cant thank you enough for the spanish subtitles so i can share the podcast with my friends. I can assure you guys that many latin americans remember the show fondly
I can't express how I much I enjoy the 10 minutes of talking about the episode and the other co-stars and then the other 40 minutes of them just bullshitting about life. I love these guys!
This hit so close to home for me. I had a colectomy in October, and my poops, farts, and all things ass-related have been dominating my life. I have felt SO MUCH shame over it, because even though it's a medical issue, it's one that's not supposed to be discussed. Listening to that conversation touched me in such a deep way.
Watching Daniel direct Lindsay to explain the Frued thing really helped her get her thoughts together. It highlighted exactly what you guys meant about Daniel being a good director who can step back and all that. That was really cool to see
10:23 I don’t think Devon realizes that there’s a blooper where the actor laughs and instead of dropping the basketball it stays stuck to his finger as his hand comes down. Don’t worry about ruining our childhood. Nickelodeon already did that about 20 years ago 😂
Ngl I still thought it was on a string or something from above in that blooper. Like I thought he was laughing because someone was controlling the string to keep the ball on his hand. I was stupid
Think an adult tips segment would be really cool, also think it would be cool for you guys to talk about things that the generation that grew up with you guys might be experiencing would be a cool concept too. Don’t be afraid to make it more mature. I’m glad you guys are doing this.
I think exactly the same, most of us who know them from the series know them because we grew up with them, and it's very cool to hear all their stories from that time both inside and outside the series; but it's also very cool to hear their stories and later experiences that they went through over the years; such as in the last episode that Lyndsey let loose a bit telling the story of the car crash when she was 18 years old🤣; or how Devon also talked after he was present in a multiple car crash of a drunk driver and had to act as a mediator hahaahaahahahah 🤣. Those stories are also full interesting and above all real, many of us feel identified with the story of Lindsey because some of us also happened to us; I think they should not feel self-conscious or uncomfortable to give a more adult touch to the Podcast, or even with more spicy jokes 🤣 because logically they are no longer the little kids of that time as well as the vast majority of us who see them are no longer hahahahahahahahahah. So far I think you guys are doing great and I don't miss a single episode, I hope you keep it up for a long time 🙏😎
@@liamflynn6929 Yes, I've seen a bit of Devon's Podcast and it's like that, but I think that here too the 3 of them should loosen up a bit, that is, continue with what they are doing and keeping the Podcast format as it relates to the series; but giving a little of their vision, experiences or personal experiences outside of Ned, both in recent years and currently; because the truth is that they are genuinely funny and as you can see their lives also seem to be very interesting hahahahahahjj
I love how it became Bathrooms 2.0 in the last ten minutes 😅 but wow I was so moved by Lindsay talking about sexuality and repression and the taking away from our natural bodies. I’m so grateful for all of your roles in this podcast because we get to laugh and we get to sit back and realize how some of these moments have showed up in our own lives. I’m really enjoying this!
I love how open minded Lindsey is, she brings new things to the podcast and question things society imposed us, but only now as adults we question it. Often with my really close friends talk about this kind of things and always have a good laugh at the end
I never thought that I would fall for Daniel. I’m not talking about his looks (he’s handsome obviously), but his intellect. Man, his academic knowledge is hot AF. 🔥🔥🔥🤓
i started rewatching Ned's Declassified after listening to the first episode and now I'm having to pace myself so it lines up with the podcast, I wish it was a daily show, cant wait for all the episodes to come
Same here. I finished season 1 and started season 2 last night. Maybe I should wait til they’re caught up before i continue s2 e1 Unfortunately Netflix doesn’t have season 3… My other option is buying it on Amazon video i guess.
It's a little hard to get through the show the second time around being older with how cheesy the jokes are but this podcast is giving a nice commentary for it.
"Did you guys actually look at each other's junk right away? Because that seems like the best way to do that." Daniel's face in response to that had me lowkey laughing my ass off. @45:10
Dude, this is so much better than the previous show, we had so much fun with Ned's declassified, but this Pod is like handling life in general, Lindsay talking about Freud blew my mind, Devon sharing his natural experiences, Daniel talking about trusting people to work with, this is like a philosophical capsule with practical advice for real life, love you Ned, Moze and Cookie.
46:40 - 47:10 The grown up Ned’s show basically writes itself. Episode 1 - Casual Gyms Tips: Don’t scream when lifting Don’t stare at people Avoid the wrinkly homie in the locker rooms

Random fun fact: when I was reading the Percy Jackson books for the first time, I was also very into Ned's. And I would always visualize Luke as a more evil-looking Seth..........
The wrinkly naked old man in the gym locker room with his leg on the bench is THE one universal experience everyone has had. I absolutely lost it at that part. 🤣
I'm so dumb I literally didn't even think about the idea of watching the episodes along with you guys in preparation for the next week… I just come here and struggle to remember each episode but enjoy the recap 😂😂
Ahh, Ned'd Declassified Podcast Survival Guide, where they talk about the episode for half an hour, and then go OFF THEIR ROCKER for the last 20 minutes.
This only had seconds of shine but Daniel talking about how we should take away these “boxes” and live life as the humans we are is how I always thought. I never really see ppl agree with me in my community and as a black male but seeing Daniel take time to mention this mindset brings hope into a new way of thinking
I am loving this podcast. They don't really delve into the episode in depth, but they make it work with their general friendship. Most of the off talk is so relatable too. This seems more like a podcast about a group of 90s kids reminiscing the times. Please keep on doing what you're doing.,
My husband and I rewatched the series with our super sweet 10-year-old son and as a family, we always quote that line: “PROTECT THE WOMEN!” This show is seriously magic and we’re using it as a resource to talk about the awkwardness of middle school and growing up in general.
I remember one scene where Seth goes "WHOA!" and puts the basketball in his other hand, but he's still pointing at the basketball with the hand out spins on so he can hide the pole that it spins on. Lol
Ned and Cookie are definitely top tier when it comes to responsibilities of the baby as alternative parents. Also I heard something about anal regression. This podcast was totally turned into a whole nother level like the book Everybody Poops. 😂😂😂😂😂
15:57 Dane Cook was publicly accused to have stolen a couple of jokes from Louis CK, and that ended up being a big thing, hit his career hard so he probably just didn't feel like dealing with it and fell out of the spotlight
I understand for copyright reasons you might be able to play the entire episode, but it’d be nice take some clips out of the episode y’all watched to sit and react to them and discuss further. That’d be really cool to see!
The fact that the episode ends with talking about communal bathing and nudity is representation I never knew I needed. It is one of my favorite things to do communal baths with friends, completely platonic, nothing sexual said or done, and just being open. It's a thing I have genuinely seen becoming more and more accepted VERY slowly, and it just feels so nice to see people talking about it
I have a suggestion!!! After discussing each episode can you discuss the themes/lessons and how they apply to your adult lives then end with adulthood survival tips?
"what are you saying? I should wash my balls." Idk but that just hit me and I was dying. I think it was the delivery. But it is sad that the alternative family was shameful to some of the people in your life. I always feel like Lindsey speaks to powerfully about her experiences and why mindsets need to change. Also the thought of Devon at burning man is so cool to me. Just love these separate interests that changed your lives in some way
I like that they start sharing all their memories about the chapter and that out of nowhere they deviate from the topic to other things, it is interesting to see their perspective of many taboos in life and how society has changed with respect to what they used to do and show in the series, the whole podcast is great. The whole thing about the bidé, anal regression and how society represses and creates shame around certain topics was super interesting and fun. Love the podcast and all of you guys!!! You're doing great ♥️💥
30:16 I’m pretty sure that individuals who say that all of Lindsey’s characters have a gay undertone are only saying that because she doesn’t have the most ultra feminine high pitched soft voice, her character’s outfits tend not to be the most girly feminine kind, and her characters tend to not have a lady like way of expressing themselves and therefore interpret & consider it as masculine energy which to them has to equal not straight. With that mentality, they are stereotyping her because those are big parts of gay girl stereotypes which is pretty hypocritical because those who are stereotyping her are actually the people from that community usually who like to project themselves onto the character. For these people to say all her characters have a gay undertone is a huge overstatement that is usually relying on the stereotype to base why they think the undertones are there even if it’s established that a character of hers is obviously into the opposite sex.
I feel like you don't really understand what people refer to if this is how you feel. While I do kind of get what your saying, but for Moze it is definitely more then just the appearance and the slightly deeper voice. The entire concept of Moze's desire for a girl best friend and here relationship with Suzy is very reminiscent to a lot of people's sexual awakening.
Grew up watching these 3 along with other iconic shows such as Drake & Josh, iCarly, Big Time Rush. Glad that they’re discussing amazing facts behind the scenes, real life topics based off the episodes and talk about the other actors on the show.
Speaking as a korean, I totally relate to Lindsay's comment. I have this bath scrubber towel that feels like 200 grit sandpaper. And, s**t do I love that thing. It cleans EVERY-thing.
Idk what episode it was but the one where it’s the end of the day and y’all are trying to get on the bus is my favorite one. Where Cookie kisses that one mean girl by accident and has to switch clothes with that other dude.
Love how the podcast goes from talking about the episode into different unrelated, yet still interesting, tangents. Feels cool just to hear these guys talk to each other.
28:00 - Daniel spitting facts here. I have always fought the crowd wherever I went and now, as someone who is younger than 25, I have projects with UMG, Sony and Fonovisa as a Mix/Master Engineer and I'm making my rounds in broadcast as a Producer, Director, Audio Engineer and Engineer in Charge and now I do big broadcasts for ESPN and Fox Sports.
I somehow went from watching this show to teaching 8th grade science, and I'm glad to hear you guys had fond memories of Meshach Taylor. Mr. Wright comes up once in a while when I think about teaching and relationship-building models. Also I do occasionally ask to see hall passes, JUST for the gag.
El hecho de que cuenten sus anécdotas del pasado y del presente y ver que aun no han perdido esa chispa y amistad a través de los años es increíble esperando con ansias los siguiente episodios chidos :DDD
I love that you guys are naturally so comfortable with each other and are able to talk about sensitive subjects in a safe environment. I love how Lindsay is such an icon for women, she has so many good opinions and outlooks on life with everything she's been through. Love you guys, and I'm loving this podcast. Thank you for coming back together
i love it when they tell each others' positive qualities from childhood and also the present 💖 something heals in me that these people i like(d) genuinely see each other so well
There's so much production quality to this podcast, but the contrast to the thumbnail quality is large. I would invest in making them different and more eye-catching/professional just to increase people clicking on. As there's so much awesomeness to see and the black background hides it! otherwise I'm super excited to see more!
This is such a tiny detail but as an ME major I appreciate the accurate math in the background of that background. Love to see differential equations written accurately for decorative purposes. People tend to mess those up all the time.
I have watched all of these podcasts and it is so fun watching them. It is great to see them all grown up and swearing. I love these deep conversions that do not even have to do with the initial topic of the episode. I really hope they continue with the entire show.
I'm enjoying this podcast so much, it gave me the push to re watch the show. and I say it's something very unique. i'm so happy to be an avid follower of that show and this show. Thank you!
love rewatching the episodes and then coming right here to hear you guys debrief! I remember this show so fondly and I didn't remember how fast the storylines are they're so quick.
My new favorite podcast. Definitely top 5 and I straight up only listen to one other podcast. I love you guys. Thank you for getting back together to do this.
LOVE THIS AND LOVE YOU ALL! I grew up with Neds and seeing this makes my heart fullll. I’d love to see (if possible) you guys add snippets from the show and see you guys reaction. That would be hilarious! Thanks for doing this!!!! ❤️❤️
Just Wanna Say Thank You Guys I Have Been Going Through Some Stuff And Watching You Guys Brings Back So Many Good Memories And Vibes & Give Me Hope Thank You All 3 Of You 💙🙏🏽
Love this podcast so much, been rewatching the show casually after many many years of not seeing it and I recently saw the episode where Ned has to take care of a young student with ginger hair (Palmer Noid) well it blew my mind that this kid was Cameron Monaghan who grew up to play the Joker in the Gotham to series and also as Cal Kestis in the Star Wars video game Jedi Fallen Order… just thought I would share that knowledge with you all lol
I like how it's not only a nostalgia trip to listen to this, but it also goes into modern day society, what they are thinking about it, and their experiences in it. Love it.
To this day, I wish there would have been a cut scene or a B roll of Seth dribbling a basket ball on a court while still spinning another basketball on his finger.
It's weird how I remember the show but not the details of any of the episodes. As a comment I just read here, this feels like catching up with friends and even better, cause i learn a lot from you. Greetings from the Dominican Republic.
I think a great thing to add to the podcast is that after all of these years, if you could provide some tips on how you've navigated life through the stories you have shared. Bring in a little bit of Ned's survival guide for life if that's allowed for the ip.
I love how even as adults you guys are still just as relatable as ever and are still just as funny as you guys were in the show love the podcasts so far
I totally agree with how liberating it is to just be naked around ppl without it being a big deal. In my case, Ive been living in Japan and just going to the onsen and taking a bath and seeing that no one cares about you being naked, just everyone hanging around and even like, getting to sit on the warm water with a friend and chat is just so nice and freeing and one of the best experiences ever
Could you guys start throwing up graphics of the characters you mentioned? I keep having to look up each one. I hate to admit it, but I don't remember a lot of the names cause it's been so long. Loving the podcast so far!!!
I think it would be amazing if you guys put a few pictures of what you’re talking for example of the exact episode to remind everyone about it or when you talked about Lil Nas X. Either way great podcast love it❤
I love how they use the episode as a spring board into a variety of topics so fluidly. I also like the idea of them trying to come up with an adult tip together at the end of the video based on what they talked about; it could help give the pod some kind of structure (not that I don't enjoy how free and loose it currently is). 10/10 you guys.
Seeing you guys like this brings sooooo much joy to my childhood and adulthood. Growing up with you guys was awesome and became obsessed with the podcast as whole. Hearing you guys talk about the show and life is great and very relatable. Please continue these podcast.
1 moment I always remember, in this episode, is when Seth says Ancient Egyptian basketball and Moze and Wright just react to that
Grew up watching these 3 along with other iconic shows such as Drake & Josh, iCarly, Big Time Rush. Glad that they’re discussing amazing facts behind the scenes, real life topics based off the episodes and talk about the other actors on the show.
Glad to know they had a positive environment behind the scenes, unlike Dan's shows.
@@larryfisherman93 The episode is called "Dismissal."
I just watched that episode too! Lol
I started rewatching it because of this podcast starting and truly, the episodes are so funny after this point. It's great it still holds up
4 episodes in and we arent gonna talk about the guy in the theme song/background music that screams YOU NEED TIIIIIIPS NOOOOW
Love how the podcast goes from talking about the episode into different unrelated, yet still interesting, tangents. Feels cool just to hear these guys talk to each other.
It’s surreal seeing you guys talk together over a decade later! It’s fantastic too. Keep up the great work, keep being yourselves!
45:27 lmmmmfao! devon fondled the imaginary balls!!!! im fucking crying this whole podcast guys!!! great stuff keep em coming!
I love how positive they are about everyone. Its so nice
They didn't write them. Clearly.
@@christopherbownes494 astute observation. You want a trophy or something?
@@jcnot9712 yes. I will message you my address to send it to. Thank you!
i just fucking love your guy's chemistry! its seriously such a breathe of fresh air cause alot of my childhood stars aren't doing so hot right now...
I have watched all of these podcasts and it is so fun watching them. It is great to see them all grown up and swearing. I love these deep conversions that do not even have to do with the initial topic of the episode. I really hope they continue with the entire show.
This trio dynamic is still immaculate 🤌🏻 I enjoy this podcast soooo much!!!
Time to retitle this as _Ned's Declassified Life Survival Guide._
I'd love to contribute tips for living less wastefully
I'm enjoying this podcast so much, it gave me the push to re watch the show. and I say it's something very unique. i'm so happy to be an avid follower of that show and this show. Thank you!
I learned to spin a basketball on my fingertips because of Seth Powers.
I could listen to Lindsey go off for hours.
love rewatching the episodes and then coming right here to hear you guys debrief! I remember this show so fondly and I didn't remember how fast the storylines are they're so quick.
😂😂 this episode has my most favorite quote from any show ever “I’m just remembering all the good times we had….. with the bAbY!!!” 🤣🤣🤣🤣
they do that in all pod episodes. talk about the show for 10 minutes and then talk about random shit for the next 40
My new favorite podcast. Definitely top 5 and I straight up only listen to one other podcast. I love you guys. Thank you for getting back together to do this.
I love how much this podcast is just life chatting and like 40% talking about the show. Love the content
LOVE THIS AND LOVE YOU ALL! I grew up with Neds and seeing this makes my heart fullll. I’d love to see (if possible) you guys add snippets from the show and see you guys reaction. That would be hilarious! Thanks for doing this!!!! ❤️❤️
We’re adults now so I’ll say it. This is fucking hilarious and I’m so glad it exists.
Just Wanna Say Thank You Guys I Have Been Going Through Some Stuff And Watching You Guys Brings Back So Many Good Memories And Vibes & Give Me Hope Thank You All 3 Of You 💙🙏🏽
12:37 Daniel always has the perfect phrase for each situation
this podcast is so good, i love all the different conversations that spark from this tv show. Keep it up i love it.
I love how Daniel is constantly the one to get them back on track to the episode topic
Loving the podcast so far!!!
well... that escalated quickly.... "Project Partners!"
I think it would be amazing if you guys put a few pictures of what you’re talking for example of the exact episode to remind everyone about it or when you talked about Lil Nas X. Either way great podcast love it❤
Honestly not gonna lie I just started watching the pod. But somehow I already fell in love. Thank you
I love how they use the episode as a spring board into a variety of topics so fluidly.
Love you guys and just for fun, start an online petition just to see how many of us fans want the Neds Declassified Reboot and then pitch it to Neflix. Just saying
I love Devon, he seems so chill and open minded
I’ve been rewatching and coming up with different ideas of how the spinning basketball works. I can now rest easy
