Evanthia Marangos I would recommend sea salt soaks for 10 mins everyday! And no high waisted pant if you have to wear them put two bandaids on your piercing!
i have no idea if you all will so this, but i need help. i got my belly button pierced by a reputable piercer who did my nose, lobes, and cartilage with no issues. i got it done about a week and a half ago. i’ve been cleaning it twice a day with a saline solution. however, it seems to be infected. it’s INCREDIBLY inflamed and red at the top and the top ball is sinking into the skin and creating a crater. i haven’t been back to the piercer but i was wondering what you guys suggest?
you might be allergic to the metal you pierced with or the bar might be too small, maybe change the bar to a different material and maybe see if you can get a slightly longer one, you can also get a cup of warm water and pure sea salt and let it soak for 2 minutes!
Is it common to have a naval piercing freak out after 12 years? I had my piercing for 12 years. I’d put surgical steel bars in it and it would get all red and crusty. I’d go to the piercing places and buy the good bars and I’d still have a reaction. I bought a cheap bar and it worked great. Go figure. After 12 years of wearing this bar the decorative piece on the end of the bar broke off. And before you ask yes I’d remove it and clean the piercing. Anyway, after the bar broke I went to the piercing shop and bought a new bar. Had a res action to it. Changed it to a cheaper one and still had a reaction. The piercing ended up freaking out so bad that it started pushing the bar forward thinning out the skin to the point where I had to remove it before it tore right through. Why would this happen so long after having the piercing???
To fight infections use tea tree on the bar and the holes every other day for 2 weeks. For my new piercings I use tea tree oil for the first week every other night
I thought in order to have smooth healing your navel had to have a distinct “edge” to support the jewelry. Otherwise the chance of migration/rejection run high?

gymnastgrl016 yeah thats what I was thinking, my piercer said he did it with the jewelry but so far Ive been continuously cleaning it with salt water and feels like it has been healing
My belly button piercing never properly healed and grew out. My tongue piercing didn't really heal, the hole seemed to widen. Also my nose piercing had a bump on the inside which never really healed. Could this be something to do with my body? It has put me off any other piercing because I think I just don't do well with them. Is it a coincidence all 3 didn't do well or could some people be that way?
Simone Renee if you got it done with surgical steel it could just be a bad reaction to the metal (metal allergy), because it does release trace metals that don't affect 99.7% of people, but do affect some. If you went to get another one again I would hands down recommmend titanium jewellery, because it's more stable and is soooo much better for a fresh piercing for both healing time and minimising irritation. A few months ago I got my helix done with ss and it caused so many problems by flaring up, swelling heaps and never really feeling better. Since then it's been about 6 months and it's much better, but it still throws hissy fits. Then a few weeks ago I got my double auricles done with titanium and I can tell you it is a million times better. Barely any itching, it has swollen up once after I accidently knocked it and it got a mild infection(ouch and I was so disappointed cos I'vebeen taking such good care of it😔), but it went down in a matter of a couple of days where the ss took a couple of weeks after to clear up (this time it was my mum that accidently headbutted me whole hugging and she forgot, it hurt more than the piercing itself😂). But paying the extra little bit was soooooo worth it.
i got my belly button done in july, and i take it out like every other day in the shower. but i still have crusty shit around it. idk really what to do
Hey guys! I've wanted to get the industrial piercing for about 8 years but have been afraid to do it because people keep telling me that I could end up with the cartilage just breaking and then I'd get cauliflower ear. I know that a gun is often the problem and I'd need to make sure they use a needle. But how often do you see the cartilage break/cauliflower ear?
No offense but get a professional video camera person, u move the camera around so much I miss seeing most of the piercings because you’re filming the wall, or something else.
Do you need different ball holders for different size gauges or is it universal?? It’s such a pain in the ass changing my Jewlery with long nails this would come in handy soo much!!
my belly is like that and iv had mine 4 nearly 5 months iv used saline solution at first i was told by the piercer to use hydrogen peroxide but then found out that drys it out so someone told me to use saline and it’s either crusty or sometimes gooey and it smells kind of fishy is there anything i can do
I got mine done. I didn’t think it hurt that much but for my sister it hurt. You will feel it and hear a sound when the needle goes through but it is manageable.
Help me guys. I've had my septum pierced twice before & I took it out & it closed but I still have that smell. How do I get rid of it?? Do I have to repierce it???
So I got my lobes repierced and it’s been like 1 month and I haven’t had any crust. I had crust the first time but not this time. Is everything okay with it?
You always go to a tattoo shop or piercing studio for professional piercings. It depends on the shop you go to if theyll let you do it or not but since its just a helix they should allow it with parents consent
I'm in college to be a teacher, everyone is telling me I shouldn't get an industrial or nose piercings cause then I won't get a teaching job. I was wondering what you guys thought.

Anyways sorry I'm rambling but basically they have the same equipment that you use which is awesome ear piercing equipment anyway not the same solution obviously and there was one more thing I was going to say I'm trying to remember if I happen to remember I'll definitely hit you guys back up and asked a question or whatever I was going to say but it was mainly for you so.

warm salt and water in a cup over the belly piercing, 2x a day for 10 mins, will get better👍🏾worked great for me!
Pink himalayan works to I believe..
@@Heaven13420hiii I got my piercing last week and it's gotten red at the top because it got snatched in my tee while j was sleeping I think but the redness now got worse and its forming crusties it is normal or is it rejecting or infected idk I'm confused please helpp
@@doesitevenmatter173 Hun definitely get that looked at. Sounds like rejection. I'm sorry:(
@@doesitevenmatter173 Mine got crusty and red until my skin was just gone and the piercing was hanging on by a string. This happened twice because I got it redone. Definitely get it looked at asap by your piercer and maybe they can save it. If it's infected or bad they'll send you to the doctor but go to the piercer first because doctors sometimes like just removing them and won't be able to resize or fix jewelry if it's an option. If u are able to save it or if u ever have it redone I recommend sleeping with a bandaid over it as well as wearing it with ur jeans since it's cold around this time.
1:22 I would be afraid of dropping the backing into my ear 😳
Gecko Dude hahahahaha
I'm beginning to think my ears were pierced crooked. Because after I thread the tunnel after the taper, it gets stuck halfway. Like it feels like it's crooked or something. Unless my ear is just being difficult.
when im already 18 i want to fly there and get my double tragus anyway im from philippines 💖
Angelika Ebitner Same I want to fly all the way there after my GCSE’s (English year 11 exams) and get so may piercings for sixth form/college
I've always been told that tea tree oil is terrible for piercings... in what cases would I use it?
I got my septum pierced yesterday and I didn't tear up or wince 🤷🏼🤷🏼 idk how 😂 I'm a wimp with needles and it was my first piercing done with a needle. 🤷🏼🤷🏼
i’ve had my belly piercing for 4 months and it still gets crusty and like pus but it doesn’t hurt a lot a lot
Alexis DelPrete it’s called healing
I started having really painful wounds inside my belly button 3 weeks after getting pierced and it actually headled right after removing the belly ring 😥😥
Might be irritated by the type of metal?
Ame Lisa Sebina this happened to me, and they would constantly ooze a clear yellowish fluid (not pus). Got some antibiotics which helped, even though it wasn’t infected, but as soon as I finished the course it came back! By then I’d had enough and took it out and it healed up nicely.
Evanthia Marangos Belly Button piercings can take up 6 months to 1 years since it’s a surface piercing
Evanthia Marangos That is on you for taking out the piercing so early when you’re supposed not!
My bottom belly whole still looks like that and it's been 3 years
Is it common to have a naval piercing freak out after 12 years? Why would this happen so long after having the piercing???
reject
To fight infections use tea tree on the bar and the holes every other day for 2 weeks. For my new piercings I use tea tree oil for the first week every other night
i got mine pierced 3 days ago and it’s really soar and it’s itchy n it hurts a little but I’m not sure if that’s normal or not
Daisy Garcia I just got mine done tooooo and it’s itchy toooo and crusty
Her belly button piercing might be getting tugged from pants or skirts that are high waisted. That can cause irritation and discomfort
I thought in order to have smooth healing your navel had to have a distinct “edge” to support the jewelry. Otherwise the chance of migration/rejection run high?
I use to work at Panera and the BEST bagel to get is the Cinnamon Crunch
had to get my belly piercing removed today :(
Oh nooo
@@evanthiamarangos nah it just hurts and is red and gross for the first couple days. its normal haha, i just got mine pierced like 1 month ago. sometimes it looks infected but it could be healing
The after care is high on the website I got mine for $5 same brand
i pierced my belly button july of 2018 and it started looking like this pretty recently maybe 3 months ago and the hole is getting bigger. Should i change my belly ring? :( i dont wanna take it out
I got my belly pierced 3 days ago, it's to tight , I dont know if it's to soon to change its but I have redness surrounding it and its sinking into my stomach, I clean it with sterile saline twice daily, I dont wear high waisted pants or anything tight on it and I'm terrified if I do get a longer one its gonna hurt
Every piercing shop I've ever been to would NOT gauge more than one size at a time bcuz your ears need to heal and you tear them by sizing up to fast
finally someone else with no pain on the tragus. well done
I had no pain is that rare
@@taylorjones443 from the video's I've been watching you feel pressure or a 3 to a 6 in pain I think I've heard people say. I have only heard a couple say they geeky nothing. I didn't even feel pressure
Damn gurl! Slide that tragus right in! That was so smooth!
I just got my belly button pierced 5 days ago and the bar is short and the top of the ball is red and is really itchy I'm not sure if it is still healing or if its already infected can you give me any advice please!
I have a question since the workers work there do they get free percings ?
I swear one day I'm going to go to your shop (even though it's reeeeaaally far) and I'm gonna get a bunch of piercings at the same time because I'll probably only ever go once 😢
I'm currently a truck driver. I'm scared to get any other type of job because I'm in love with my facial piercings.
Ah I’m getting my nose pierced today so just watching your vids as love seeing these
That’s how my belly piercing looks and it’s still healing I went to the doctor and that’s just what goes on when it heals and now instead of both top and bottom it’s only the bottom now and the top has skin scarring already
I never had to lay down for my septum piercing. Do you have to?
Had the same situation as the girl. Belly button piercing got hit, kept getting crusties. After 7 months of having it, it rejected. leaving a raised scar😭😭
You’re not supposed to jump through sizes that fast or doesn’t it matter considering that it’s just the first two sizes?
Thoughts on nose piercing being done with jewelry?? I went to a shop and I wasn’t sure if it was supposed to be done that way instead of the needle..
Nooo! Jewelry has a flat post and trying to get that through your nose will not work. It will hurt more and cause more problems
gymnastgrl016 yeah thats what I was thinking, my piercer said he did it with the jewelry but so far Ive been continuously cleaning it with salt water and feels like it has been healing
Two years after getting my belly, it got infected. It healed up a few months ago but I’m confused and worried it will happen again
The same thing happened to my cousin it was so confusing
Sometimes piercings get flare ups where the randomly get irritated . I think your good
You guys are so damn smooth. I love your vids.
It’s too high mines the same it sucks when u want smaller jewelry but even the standard is too tight
i got my belly button done in july, and i take it out like every other day in the shower. but i still have crusty shit around it. idk really what to do
Cai Linton rarely you gotta research the shop
I’ve had mine done for about 2 years. As long as it gets pierced with a needle and you follow the aftercare you should be fine
No offense but get a professional video camera person, u move the camera around so much I miss seeing most of the piercings because you’re filming the wall, or something else.
Do you need different ball holders for different size gauges or is it universal?? It’s such a pain in the ass changing my Jewlery with long nails this would come in handy soo much!!
watching this during work😂 love you guys!
I love watching y'all videos they funny
roses are red
i wanna die
the part you're looking for is 10:05
Morgan Wilson that doesn’t rhyme
Jeez, that camera guy is irritating.
I thought you’re supposed to wait a month until you can size up?
I absolutely love your videos and I have a question how long does it take for a nose piercing to heal ❤️
pippa murphy I know it varies but mine healed fully in 4 to 5 months it took so long because mine got knocked out
Mine took about a month
2-3 months
Mine didn’t heal for 8 months. It really just depends on the person, how you look after it etc.
my belly is like that and iv had mine 4 nearly 5 months iv used saline solution at first i was told by the piercer to use hydrogen peroxide but then found out that drys it out so someone told me to use saline and it’s either crusty or sometimes gooey and it smells kind of fishy is there anything i can do
How much does a tragus hurt ?😩i have my belly and nose pierced is the pain level the same ?
Chanyy diamond for a friend of mine she told me 9/10
I got mine done. I didn’t think it hurt that much but for my sister it hurt. You will feel it and hear a sound when the needle goes through but it is manageable.
Chanyy diamond For me it hurt about a 2/10. it was super fast and painless
Alyssa Ann Thank you !
vanessa c thank you!
Help me guys. I've had my septum pierced twice before & I took it out & it closed but I still have that smell. How do I get rid of it?? Do I have to repierce it???
BD & Fam clean it everyday
I gave mine but I never had a smell
So I got my lobes repierced and it’s been like 1 month and I haven’t had any crust. I had crust the first time but not this time. Is everything okay with it?
HOI HOI ITS YA GOI Lol yeah my rook didn’t crust at all and that’s a more complex piercings than the lobe totally normal
I never went to any piercing place to get my lobes stretched I did mine myself both 12mm 😂
Can I get my helix pierced at 13? I’ve been wanting it for awhile but I don’t know where I can go to get it done with a needle
Maria mms12 it depends where you go. I got mine done at 11 with parental consent
You always go to a tattoo shop or piercing studio for professional piercings. It depends on the shop you go to if theyll let you do it or not but since its just a helix they should allow it with parents consent
umm im 13 and i have.
I’m 14 and I got it when I was 13
The Netherlands 🤷🏽♀️🇳🇱🇳🇱
Fleur vK me too❤
M2 😂❤
Finely rhyna is back
Theres no bar showing there should always be a small amount of the bar showing
I'm in college to be a teacher, everyone is telling me I shouldn't get an industrial or nose piercings cause then I won't get a teaching job. I was wondering what you guys thought.
Ambersage Champlin not true I know several teachers with nose rings
One of my professors in university had a full ear pirced
Many teachers have piercings. My 3rd teacher had her nose and eyebrow pierced. My 7th period high school teacher had her lip, nose, and secptum.
I’ve been out of high school for more than a decade but the teachers I had, had nose rings (not a septum), and one guy had plugs and a tongue ring.
@@beckyortman1201 maybe after becoming a teacher?
Mine has this problem too

mine started doing this it was long enough for swelling but it rejected
Who else has been here since 10k subscribers?
💕
I was here around 30k I believe💕
So I have a question I got my rook done a week ago and it still hurts pritty bad and I cant get it to lay flat on my ear cus it hurts yo much to to try to get it to is that normal if not what should I do lulu staff
Felicity Lajuett go back to the person who did it🤷🏻♀️🤷🏻♀️🤷🏻♀️🤷🏻♀️
How do u expect them to help u if they can't see it??
4:32 Am in my country and I’m binge watching Lulu’s videos 😩 I might have an issue
I wished he stood more still during the piercing.
No pain at all, zero????? yeah sure, want to look toff in front of people...🤦🏼♀️
Doesn’t look like anything is wrong with it
maybe not on the outside but most problems happen inside the hole /piercing
A tear fell for my Septum but the least painful next to my cheek peircings. Felt barely anything
i got my cartilage done with a needle and im eleven
omg ur so cool.
Mara Emerick lmao 😂
and why do we need to know.......???
chloe 01 lying
Had mine pierced for nine months and I still get crustys and white pus but it doesn’t hurt or itch
Sarah Infinger it’s still healing
I had mine for 4 years and it only healed completely now. Navel piercings are very difficult, especially now that we mostly wear high waisted trousers. If you love your piercing you’ll get through this 💪🏻✨
If I was old enough to have a job and I couldn’t have a piercing I wouldn’t take the job 😂
Love you guys !
close ups on ur belly button be like : 10:43
I have my septum pierced done at my favorite piercing place I don't trust anybody else but my favorite piercer here where i live they are called some Prix and he was telling me when you have a septum piercing to clean it three times a day with a some solution I forgot the name of it I don't remember but I still have it and I clean my septum twice a day cuz I don't have time to do it the middle of the day cuz I'm working so much but he told me three times a day for the next six weeks I've had my septum down now for almost a month it'll be a month in two more days and they're licensed there very sterile they show you all the stuff they have and packaging they showed that you know they show you they sanitize everything like they're the best I'm not saying you guys aren't I've never been there to you but I have been watching your videos but I have learned that each piercer has like here own advice and I know that your nose protects itself from bacteria and stuff like that and cleans itself but I don't understand why each piercer has like their own advice like you would think that they would know cuz you have to have your license you know you can't just whatever you can make up your own thing so she tells this girl to clean her septum once a day my piercer is telling me three times a day for the next six weeks but I won't even doing mine two times a day because I like I said I work and so during the day in middle of the day I don't have time to and as for my daith piercing he told me to do the same but I only clean my dates and my septum twice my other piercing I've had now for about 4 or 5 months and so I've stopped cleaning it it's fine it's healed it doesn't hurt or anything but I'm still just confused about how everyone has their own advice and their own input on piercing care. and ask for all my piercings I've never had any pain my septum had no pain but The Ridges where you screw on the ball and Nick me a little bit but everything was fine didn't hurt my day's didn't hurt at all pain-free completely now my cartilage was done somewhere else and we found out that they were piercing people illegally and didn't have a license never going back to them again so I stick to you my piercing place here and they're awesome and I trust my Pierce our guy he's completely awesome he's a sweetheart he's very sensitive he's delicate when he handles you and everything.
Omg love u guys✨✨🤪💖
We all start saying we going to b small we’re never stretching more. We always end up going more. I said I was going to stay at 00 then when I got there I said it’s not big enough how bout 1/2 still said nah then went to 5/8th and that’s where I’m at rn
My belly ring is almost 3 months old now too but it's all dark where the bar is and gets really crusty. I think it's from my pants bumping it.. I guess maybe I should switch from salt water to something else to get rid of the crust
SugoiAsano it’s still healing duh
