@Team Queen’ s Fearn Tucker and Bentley Forever go watch there video on ear piercings facts guns use blunt force= more damage wile a needle is a clean hole fast healing minimum damage. Just because you didn't have issue dosnt mean its ok
Lol almost all the piercings I’ve gotten with needles have developed keloids one had to be removed all the ones done with guns healed fine everyone will be different
PhysicalGraffiti which is why I very clearly said that everyone will be different. You can obviously develop a keloid no matter what you’re pierced with I was talking about my experience. I’ve also read that some people with African American descent are more prone to keloids.
A gun didn’t cause her keloid. I have 12 piercings in my ears and almost all of the ones done with needles developed keloids none of the ones done with a gun did though. They healed fine it just depends if your more prone to keloids or not
When I was 12 I pierce my own ears with a sewing needle. It wasn't the smartest thing I ever did but in my opinion I did a pretty darn good job. But I think now that I'm a little smarter.... I'm going to go somewhere to get my 2nd piercing.
In our days, during senior highschool 2004, piercings became a trend in our country and me and my classmates pierced each others' ears with safety pin 🤣 all is well til now. Should've done more so I didn't have to pay as I adulted and wanted more each year
Same! I pierced 2 holes with sewing needles and thread. No after care nothing. It just healed fine. Last month I got my Tragus professionally pierced. Big red bump developed , not healing after all and had to remove it ha ha! So sad 😞
Had my ears done with a piercing gun when I was a kid. Never again will a piercing gun get within 5 feet of me. Fuck that. I walked from outside to the inside of my house and just the temperature change between cold outside air and warm inside air made me start screaming. I remember that pain. It was horrible!
I think a lot of us who got our lobes done as kids forgot how painful it actually was, got mine when I was 6 I think, I don't remember them being painful, but they must have been, they went through hell, had them pierced 3 times 'cause the first and second times they got infected badly and we had to remove them to clean them/allow them to heal, every time done with a gun, it's a damn miracle my lobes are not completely fucked up, the weird thing is, in one of my ears part of the hole never fully closed on the inside, so when I would put jewelry in, I. Would have to choose between to paths in the middle, one of witch was closed at the back. Weird stuff, weird stuff.
Really enjoy watching your work but....a bit over on the excitement. I understand you want to show that this is a happening place, and I’m sure that is. Very impressed with the cleanliness and the gentleness to the customers. I am an old hippie, 4 piercings in each ear.
I find it interesting to hear peoples pain levels. Everyone is different. My conch and septum hurt way more then my nipples, industrial, tragus, double nostril, first and second lobes, helix.13 total. 🤷♀️
This video randomly came up in my suggestions so I gave it a go. I’m shocked with this piercing gun issue. In the 90s I had my ears pierced 5 times with those piercing guns and never had any problems at all. 18 years ago, at the age of 25, I was diagnosed with Rheumatoid Arthritis which has required joint replacements and a whole load of minor surgeries. The scar from the incision running about 6” down the inside edge of my right foot is keloid tissue. The scar from the incision for my right side shoulder replacement also is keloid tissue. I guess I’m just questioning whether or not the development of keloid scarring is down to a particular tool that is used, or down to the individual make up of a person? Or maybe a combination of both? I don’t know, I’m just throwing it out there as I would’ve thought I’m in a small minority of people who have had multiple piercings with the gun type tool and also have lots of surgical scars too (and I’m not even gonna *go* there about my belly button piercing which was done with a cannula. I’ll just say that area won’t ever be getting pierced again 🤒🤢).
I got my septum done the day before st Pattys and it was by far such an easy pain free piercing, 0 pain. The worst piercing so far has been my tongue, mainly for just the aftercare though
I got a horrible keloid on my helix in high school after using a gun and I never got another piercing after. 10+ years later I can still feel the scar tissue but the keloid thankfully disappeared. I wish tattoo shops had even been in my mind back then; I'd probably have an adorable piercing still today.
I mean I love the personalities of everyone who is apart of these vlogs buy I would be so put off having someone else in the room talking and being chill it’d be so weird for me
I would be like the first girl..... nervous to meet you guys which is why I'm procrastinating on actually going to Lulu's but I also don't want to go to another piercing shop so......
so i currently have a small little keloid on my helix piercing. Ive researched that it is normal to develop a couple months after it was pierced... I'm currently using tea tree oil, it dries out the keloid. But make sure you are only applying it topically and ensuring that it is not going into your actual piercing!!!
Catalaxy 04 Depends on where you got the piercings. If they were only lobe piercings, you would be in the majority where nothing goes wrong. (I had mine done as a baby. I have no idea about any of this piercing stuff except for what I hear from videos.) There’s more risk with cartilage piercings where things go wrong. Mainly the issue is with the cartilage shattering, and cartilage doesn’t heal.
Catalaxy 04 with guns they add unnecessary trauma to the piercing. Often times with lobes it’s fine but these guns can actually shatter cartilage and will always pose a higher risk of developing a keloid (more trauma = higher risk of keyloids)
I suggest not going going to claires it's not about the gun it's about the place because at claires I got mine done 4 times all times I got badly infected ears but I got them done at a proper place and my ears are fine
I've learned that I did so many things wrong when I was younger w/ all 7 of my ear piercings. I not only had them done about 3 times each on my lower 3 holes but I always had reactions to the jewelry & had to keep removing them. In the end all 6 (3 in each earlobe) I ended up doing myself w/ the earrings they used w/ the gun piercings since they were kind of sharp. PEOPLE DON'T EVER DO THIS!! Because I did them myself I now have 1 ear that the 1st & 2nd holes are super close $ the other ear the 2nd & 3rd holes are super close (by that I mean when wearing post style earrings the front gems touch). That's what I get for doing it myself. Also I had my right ear cartridge done by a gun. It was in 1993 I was in high school & grew up in a small mountain town in NC. So I knew absolutely nothing about body piercing outside of what I saw in the National Geographic magazines. LOL! I got super lucky it didn't get infected. I just learned the hard way to not sleep on it & had to train myself that when answering the phone to put it to my other ear. Thank you to Lulu's Body Piercing for all the lessons just wish I learned them earlier but that's not y'alls fault. Since I turned 18 I've had 4 body piercings below the neck & above my navel (including the navel) but took them out around the age of 27 & have had all but 1 done a 2nd time after the original ones healed. If I'm ever on the west coast I'll make sure to swing by to visit maybe have something new done & of course a selfie/pics w/ y"all.
So I think that was bull. I have keloids and I have gotten my lobs redone. I had them removed once. One grew back and I got the hollow needle piercing and have had no troubles. I still have the keloid on the back of one of my ears.
Got my ears pierced with a gun when I was a child. Couldn't stand anything below 555 gold. I finally took them out. A few years later I let them pierce again. With a gun. Now I can wear everything. And that was more than 18 years ago and piercing studios weren't that thing over in Germany! I also did my second pair with a gun. And all are just fine.
I feel like some of us just got lucky with a gun when we didn’t know any better. I got my first five piercings (two lobes on each side and one helix) with a gun at age 10, 17, and 18 respectively and I’ve never had problems, not even little piercing bumps. But I know I’m lucky. Just got my first lobe repierced (ripped it and got it reconstructed) and my rook done at a proper shop with a needle, and they’re healing well too. It really just depends on how well you heal, how your body produces and deals with scar tissue, and pure dumb luck.
I got keloid from my first lobe piercing on both ear (done with a gun) got it shrink (injected by dermatologist for MONTHS!!! And its SUPER PAINFULL! Keloid do grow after couple years so i had to get it re inject to keep it small and unnoticeable), got it re pierced with a needle years after for both ear (avoiding the keloid scar) it was angry for three years and i got it both re injected for the angry keloid and a possibily new hyperthropic scar. It might happen because of the previous keloid, or it might happen because my poor treatment for my piercing back then. But my left ear has settled down now, took out the right piercing because it’s just getting angry everytime i change jewelry (i use f 136 astm titanium) and not quiet happy with the placement. Still have huge hyperthropic scar there. I try to help it calm down with the cortizon injections by the doctor 😞 i wanted to get it repierced so bad
I have been subscribed for a while and I have had the notifications on for a while. If I ever end up there, I will happily get a piercing from you guys. I am actually getting either one or three piercings done this weekend with a friend (I get to meet an internet friend in person for the first time). ❤️
My sister pierced my ears TWICE when I was 6-7 with a sewing needle and I had to take them out both. There was a lot of swelling and blood in my ear so eventually my ears got infected and my sister had to remove all of the puss in my ear outside and I would be screaming. I use to have little balls in my ear but not anymore, it’s all healed now but you can still see the scars on my ear.
I have 2 piercings done by 2 different professionals with the proper needles that have keloids. Guns increase your chances but can happen with the hollow needle too.... i had both removed, one has come back.
When I got my 2 new earlobe piercings on my two ears got it done professionally with a needle ...while my first ones on each ear were made with the gun as a child. After seeing how the needles are made, can't imagine anyone wanting differently.
I got my ears pierced at Claire’s in 5th grade and 2 days after they were pierced one of the earrings fell out but the gun pierced my ear crooked so we could never get the earring back in. 2 weeks later my other ear got severely infected and I had to take off the piercing and the back on my ear where the back was was crusted over with dried blood and puss and it was bright red. Last year I got my ears pierced again at an actual piercing shop and it went much better. I still have problems with crust on my ears because I have a metal allergy but I just have to clean them every once and a while. It was also much less painful to get my ear pierced with the needle. Overall much better experience with the needle versus the gun. It’s called a gun for a reason. It shoots a hole in your ear.
Any hope for me!. I've had keloids for a decade now. Had my third lobe piercings with a needle yet it resulted in keloids. Worst part is it's at the front of my ears not at the back. 😓
Hi, I had my daith piercing done 5 months ago and it has healed great. I have a curved barbell put in, I would like to change it , but don't know what ball to unscrew, the top one or the bottom one, please advice thanks. Love your vids btw.
I got my first lobes done with a gun and I had to re-pierce it since it closed up when I took the jewelry out of 3 days (it was healed for 8 years), and I decided to get my second lobes done as well with a gun. And it has been healed for 6 months with no keloid problems.
@@gnarls4480 at the time I didn't research about a good place to get them pierced with a needle, so I made the mistake to do it with a gun. My ears luckily have healed nicely with no problems, but at least I will know not to do it when I pierce somewhere more delicate like a double helix, which is one I want to get soon. I will do it with a needle by a professional though.
Needle took out the keyloid out my ears. My dad pierced mine with a sewing needle when I was 4 and had them professionallu done when I was 10. 🤣 You guys need some major help.
Wish Id known about you guys last summer! Im from the UK but spent 3 months in California last year! Wanna get back out there soon and pay y’all a visit!
I got mine done with a retainer since I have pretty bad allergies too, it was easier to blow my nose people didnt know I had it till I switched it to a horseshoe
My daughter had her ears pierced at 4 years old and her keyloids didn’t show up until she was 11 years old when her body started to change . She is now 20 years old and can no longer wear pierced earrings. We did the dermatologist and plastic surgeons and they cut the protruding part of the keyloids but she will never be able to wear pierced earrings again.
I really hope you guys answer me back but i have 2 lob piercing with a gun and no keloid but when i had my 3ed done i had it done with a needles and i have small keloids with them and a small one on my belly button too. Why is that??
I had a friend who got a major keloid from a peirceing gun done at a mall. An she didn't even take care of it from inexperience an lack of proper after care information from the mall peircer. She had to take it out after her ear ate it. But when she wanted to get it redone but it was too big. She in the end got a dermal punch in her lobes.
I live in Brazil, and in my city there aren't any trustable piercing studios, just weird ones and the gun in farmacies... Result, I pierced my ears at home, with esterialized scirurgical steel and comun needles (like catether needles), my helix, my 2 and 3 lobe are beautiful and never had an infection nor allergie. I'm pretty happy I searched before and learned how to do it properly, because if I went to any place in my city I would suffer hahaha
Piercing with a gun has nothing to do with it. A keloid is an overgrowth of scar tissue. It happens to anyone who has a susceptibility to getting keloids. I got one on my rook piercing that obviously wasn’t done with a gun..
My ear was pierced with a gun twice, but this time the holes won't close even if years pass. And two years have passed, actually. And my ears still haven't closed, and it's like some ball inside, like there is something hard. Is this bad?
Louisa Dodson try to not catch it or twist it , be sure it’s clean all the time and clean it before u go to sleep . Buy an airport pillow and put ur ear in the hole so u can sleep in any side . If ur hair is long try to put ur hair up , be careful 💞💞💞
Hi fellas and gals! Had to remove all 4 Claire piercings on R and big one on L. Live in Indiana now, but when I come back to visit San Diego I will let you pierce me.
My septum was a 0 too surprisingly. I felt a pinch but no needle & thankfully the person was fast af 😂😂 watching these vids makes me wanna get my helixs repierced 🙈🙈
I call bullshit. Certain people are prone to keloid scarring. Full stop. It doesn't matter what kind of piercing she got, she could have got that same result. It's the body's overreaction to a wound in the skin, regardless of how it got there. Body piercers are just a bit snobby about their piercings! 😉
I’ve had my lobes pierced 5 times all 5 using a gun. And the last time I formed keliods and took the earrings out I want to style my ears but don’t know what or how to!
*If y'all support piercing guns don't comment about it because younger people going to read this and think they're okay. Piercing guns should be illegal that type of blunt force to the ear or any other body part won't allow for it to heal properly. A gun doesn't allow for completed accuracy and they don't leave any room for swelling. And most of the time if a place uses a gun, they're jewelry is cheap and fake. DONT USE GUNS. JUST BECAUSE A FEW PPL SAY IT WAS "FINE" DOESNT MEAN ITLL WORK FOR YOU.*
Does anybody else have this problem where one of my ears (lobe piercing) can fit a 16gage piercing, but the other side can't. I have had this problem for about 4 months now, and I don't know where to go. And when I got my lobes pierced by a gun the bad side was pierced at a wrong angle than the old spot it was pierced and now it is all wonky with two holes at the back.
Bad for the girl with keloids... piercing guns should be prohibited by law.
@Team Queen’ s Fearn Tucker and Bentley Forever go watch there video on ear piercings facts guns use blunt force= more damage wile a needle is a clean hole fast healing minimum damage. Just because you didn't have issue dosnt mean its ok
To be fair, some people are just more prone to keloid scarring than most.
Lol almost all the piercings I’ve gotten with needles have developed keloids one had to be removed all the ones done with guns healed fine everyone will be different

I had my ears pierced with guns when I was young about 40 years ago and my ears are fine.
Proud she went to a piercing shop instead of somewhere that uses guns again
Sophia R Claire’s

When I was 1 I got my ears pierced with a gun and I have had
No problem then
I know I'm a little late but I hate guns, when I first got my ears pierced the gun got stuck in ny ear so yeah..
We had my 6 year old daughter's ears pierced when she was like 4 months, it was done with a gun and they're perfectly normal, never had a problem

Thank you

Ufff thanks
Ace ? Thank you
Keloids will happen regardless of how you have a piercing. Some people get them, some don't.
Captain 345 a few days after I got my nose pierced I got a keloid and it took like a month to get rid of
@@kaylin_mendez0320 It wasn't a keloid, it was just a bump. A keloid never goes away.
rako464 exactly
Got my keloid to go away with tea tree oil. Pierced by hand not with a gun.
rako464 keloids do go away

Any hope for me!. I've had keloids for a decade now. Had my third lobe piercings with a needle yet it resulted in keloids. Worst part is it's at the front of my ears not at the back. 😓
You know you're early when the quality's 360p🤣
Notification squad wya?!?!?!🤙🏽
Girl from Utah, I see you girl! Us modified Utahns gotta stick together ;)
I agree septum was the easiest piercing I have gotten so far, when the needle went through, it feel like I needed to sneeze lol 😆
Hi, I had my daith piercing done 5 months ago and it has healed great. I have a curved barbell put in, I would like to change it , but don't know what ball to unscrew, the top one or the bottom one, please advice thanks. Love your vids btw.
It doesn't matter. Unscrew the ball that's the easiest to do loose. :)
Can you guys do mystery bags for nose piercings or for the rook 😩
Stephanie Venegas just give me your card info and I’ll pick something out and have it shipped to you
Omar Garay omfg you think someone is going to fall for that?! Wth😂💀
Omar Garay hahahahahaha that’s a good enough try tho 🤣🤣
I got my first lobes done with a gun and I had to re-pierce it since it closed up when I took the jewelry out of 3 days (it was healed for 8 years), and I decided to get my second lobes done as well with a gun. And it has been healed for 6 months with no keloid problems.
I deleted this first one bc i was just being ignorant.
@@gnarls4480 old enough to know not to answer that question
@@gnarls4480 I know now for my future piercings. Thx for the advice though
@@helenagozali6766 ok. I hope you have a good day 😋🤗😊
Edit: aslo the "how old are you" thing is a meme
Love how his friend is wearing Jeffree Star Cosmetics sweatshirt slayyyyyyyyy
Needle took out the keyloid out my ears. My dad pierced mine with a sewing needle when I was 4 and had them professionallu done when I was 10. 🤣 You guys need some major help.
Wish Id known about you guys last summer! Im from the UK but spent 3 months in California last year! Wanna get back out there soon and pay y’all a visit!
I’d love to get my septum done but I get the WORST allergies and I feel like with all the nose blowing I do it’d just never heal
Sammeeee
I got mine done with a retainer since I have pretty bad allergies too, it was easier to blow my nose people didnt know I had it till I switched it to a horseshoe
My daughter had her ears pierced at 4 years old and her keyloids didn’t show up until she was 11 years old when her body started to change . She is now 20 years old and can no longer wear pierced earrings. We did the dermatologist and plastic surgeons and they cut the protruding part of the keyloids but she will never be able to wear pierced earrings again.
I love how she’s rocking the jeffree star hoodie
Now I know why I have a tiny lump in both my earlobes from having them pierced by a gun. On occasion I get pus out of them when they swell up.
How do you get rid of a keloid on an industrial piercing and helix piercing?
Jennifer Maston keloids have to be removed by a dermatologist or plastic surgeon. They’re interesting lookin’ critters!
I really hope you guys answer me back but i have 2 lob piercing with a gun and no keloid but when i had my 3ed done i had it done with a needles and i have small keloids with them and a small one on my belly button too. Why is that??
Did Lupe get her septum pierced? And if so, did you guys film it and are going to post the video??!?!?!
Haha I read ‘Did Lupe’ as ‘Dua Lipa’ lol 😂
Wait omg I have that same exact bump on my cartilage. I got my helix done on my bday in Feb and I still have the earring in it.
Do you guys have any shops in Florida or Massachusetts? (I know those are very far away but I am just wondering)
LOVE the delicate nose ring!
Subscribed and notifications on. Love your videos and all of you guys are nice to look at.
Piercing with a gun has nothing to do with it. A keloid is an overgrowth of scar tissue. It happens to anyone who has a susceptibility to getting keloids. I got one on my rook piercing that obviously wasn’t done with a gun..
I have 30 piercings 2 nose and 2 tragus all with gun all are fine most of them are 32 years old and still doing great!
Notifications are one and subscribed. I watch every single day!!
Peep that Jeffree merch 👀
I got my second piercings done at Claire’s luckily I’ve never had a problem
My ear was pierced with a gun twice, but this time the holes won't close even if years pass. And two years have passed, actually. And my ears still haven't closed, and it's like some ball inside, like there is something hard. Is this bad?
Myth ... hollow needles remove tissue. Piercing needles DO NOT remove tissue. They just make a clean channel the same gauge as the piercing.
Hey guys just need some advice I pierced my ear lobes with a safety pin today and just wanted some advice how to keep it clean and all xx
Louisa Dodson try to not catch it or twist it , be sure it’s clean all the time and clean it before u go to sleep . Buy an airport pillow and put ur ear in the hole so u can sleep in any side . If ur hair is long try to put ur hair up , be careful 💞💞💞
Cloudy Nono thank you xx
They should open up a lulus body piercing in Australia 🇦🇺

I have keloids on my third piercings ( both lobe both third ear) how do i get rid of them?
Hi fellas and gals! Had to remove all 4 Claire piercings on R and big one on L. Live in Indiana now, but when I come back to visit San Diego I will let you pierce me.
My septum was a 0 too surprisingly. I felt a pinch but no needle & thankfully the person was fast af 😂😂 watching these vids makes me wanna get my helixs repierced 🙈🙈
I’m allergic to certain earrings so for two years I stopped wearing earrings. My ear holes close up. Should I go to a Piercer
i’ve had my ears done with gun . it’s been a year i took them out the keloid is still killing me when i lay on it ! uh

Kako je lepa.Ako nije udata zenim je.!😍😘😘

I love how she’s rocking the jeffree star hoodie😂
so i have a very small barely raised/noticeable keloid, could i pierce through it?/ extremely close to it ????
What size was that hoop Royanna placed in her nose? I need one.
Thank you
I have that same keloid issue. Can I just pierce in the space above it?
Out of all my piercings I've had, my daith hurt the most, got it done yesterday 😂 The rest of my piercings seemed like nothing compared to my daith
Really? Mine was nothing but pressure. My rook sucked though
My daith piercing hurt to
It hurt but I was laughing the whole time 😂 Crazy
My faith hasn’t even healed I’ve had it a year! Such a pain in the ass
Amberlynn's Dirty Bra Strap I got my forward helix done today and that hurt!
Notifs are on and subbed!!!❣️
I got a Helix with a gun. And I am kinda happy that it healed well, and didn't mes up.
3:15 THIS 12 YEAR OLD KNOWS THOU SONG-
I got a lip hoop online and it was to big to fit in my piercing hole. I don't think it was from u guys but its just what happened to me before.
Oh damn. That's why there's a hard bump in my ear lobes! I heard it was from getting pierced with a gun. It doesn't hurt but it's weird feeling
I had the same happen to an ear piercing and hemorrhoid cream actually works to fix the issue... (it did for me)
Careful using anything like that if it gets directly in a fresh piercing. It can get infected 💖
Wohooo thank you for the shout out! 😃👋🏻
