@@strahinjastevic7480 that is just the proof how good Loeb is. Starts winning world titles in his second season and does that for 9 years in a row until he decides that it is enough. What a legend, but beating him in his first full season is still quite an accomplishment
@@strahinjastevic7480 Yeah but Gronholm couldn't beat him in '06 or '07 either. Not to mention the fact that this was the first time both men were in a position to win regularly and fight for the title.

That victory celebration in the acropolis rally is absolutely amazing for the fact that the car would have retired from the rally due to alot kf damage but yet Petter somehow found a way with his Subaru mechanics and won it jn absolute style. What a legend he is
Something about those subaru's in that era that still make the hairs in my neck stand up, simply unforgettable as the best cars, sounds, drivers and colour schemes to ever have laid my eyes on, really miss it, bit like when the F1 had those screaming V10/V12's, sadly no more, such a shame 😐

Subaru needs a platform and an engine that suits current WRC requirements. While for Mitsubishi...meh.They are more focusing to their SUV more than motorsports lol
The only man ever to beat Sebastien Loeb to a world title. That has got to be worth something.
Mind you that was on loeb's first full seasons

Indeed! They were like a dream team
He was driving a car much older than everyone else and was still competitive, that's impressive on it's own.
No doubt, Petter stands shoulder to shoulder with Burns and McRae.

2003 at Rally GB i saw the man going for the championship. He also had a presence unlike Loeb who was like a robot
I love how Phill mills in the end is like
