I just googled this this morning as I am having an issue with the toe that is right next to my big toe. Its hurts alot on one side and to the touch BUT it does not hurt so sensitive to the front on the nail. Believe it or not it hurts on the back end curve toward the back or the nail. Upon looking at it it's not red, swollen or odd looking and the nail seems to look normal to me. But it hurts bad, even an little throbbish. Just a note that toe is longer then my big toe and sometimes feels unconfortable in shoes. I always feel like its rubbing on the top of any shoe as that toe mail kind of has a curve forward, so when I clip the tip I have to get the nail clippers under the nail. I clipped off the side thinking it was an ingrown toe nail, but the back of the nail at the curve still hurts. Plus my toes always feel squished together, so I'm always trying to spread them out for relief. LOL Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Depends on your insurance. In the world of healthcare people don't realize the insurance companies set the fees. The doctors do not control the fees. We can charge $1000 and one insurance company pays $200, another $50. It makes no sense I know.
