Did Imogene. August, 3 years ago.
What's funny is your comments matched my own @5:02.
Tho mine came from base-lining a 30 year old truck, as compared to your rig, the denominator is the same.
A bucket list item checked off.
    Kudos!

One of the best Jeeping videos I've seen. Great editing and views, and excellent narration. Plus some good jeeping tips. A fantastic short story. Not too long, no loud or dorky music, and none of the typical boasting. You've done an excellent job. Thanks.
I've done Imogene Pass several times from both directions. Pick your way based on your overall route. Neither direction is harder or better than the other, although going west (Ouray to Telluride) can put the afternoon sun right in your eyes. Plan on a full day either way.

My family and I went up Imogene in 2002 on a tour jeep out of Ouray. Spectacular!

Good video. I came though a week after you were there. Spent the night at the first water crossing with the drop off. Great time.

Imogene is one of my favorites. Grew up in the area, so know it well. Funny enough though, I have only taken it from Ouray to Telluride (about a dozen times!), just always seems to work out that direction for me. Was up there about 3 weeks before you (2nd week of August) and the weather was perfect! Great job with the video. See you “down the trail”!

Looked like a typical day on the pass to me. It’s a wonderful trail, but you did not hit an ice storm, just some moisture.

Great video. Apologies for being pedantic, but it’s pronounced “eye-muh-gene”.

Looks like going up from Ouray and turning around at the summit is the way to go? Other side looked sketchy.

Nope. Neither direction is better or worse than the other. I've done Imogene several times in both directions, and each has their own pros and cons, at least in my opinion.

    BRUTAL ICE STORM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
    Yall from texas?

Actually, Texas does get some brutal ice storms, February of 2021 being about the worst ever. Temps were down to -18 F with the wind chill, everything was coated in a couple of inches of ice and power was out for millions. Having a 4 wheel drive only meant you were going faster when you inevitably slid off the road and hit something. Our thunderstorms and hail storms are legendary, which you'd know if you lived here.
