      Months planning a departure date, and cramming to get things ready and somehow had no time to organize anything haha! after 5 months now our boat finally feels like home.

    When I saw the interior of your boat, I realized it was a Hunter like Ours. We have a 40 Legend. Glad to see You having fun and enjoying sailing. Andre. Please go into detail about the battery upgrades. It is worth making these boats as nice as you want them to be. Above all be safe. Use checklists and make sure you both know how things work. I am really impressed with the way you take care of the boat and the level of professionalism you show when handling situations.

    I found your channel from Expedition Evans recommendation, and glad I joined - very laid back approach and great story/visuals. Just wondering - are you Jade's sister..?? She's your dopelganger if not..!! ha ha ha

    HI there, I found you both on Brad and Jades site. I hope André is doing better now. Unfortunately burnings like these take their time to heal properly. From my judgement that was a 2nd degree burn and very heavy. If I were you, >>>>>>I'd give this vessel a very intense inspection

    Good call rounding Cape May. We went inside and had to anchor and wait for the low tide to get under those bridges. Stessful!

      Doesn’t matter if the bridge is 55 or 95 it always feels like you’re way closer than you actually are haha

    My wife and I completed a circumnavigation in the 1980s, but we never met a crew that looked like us, hoping you make it to the Bahamas.

    I love your videos and I have a question. I noticed when one of you are at the wheel, you are constantly turning it left and right. Are you turning just the rudder or moving the ails also? I know nothing about sailing. Thanks

    • @SailingNaida
      @SailingNaida  Рік тому +1

      We are just turning the rudder, the sails are trimmed by the main sheet and Genoa sheets. Thank you!

    Just curious, what happened when you anchored? Why was it an uncomfortable spot?

    • @SailingNaida
      @SailingNaida  2 роки тому +1

      Very unprotected, we anchored pretty much at the mouth of the Delaware bay and the swell from the ocean came in.
