Rap concerts are bad for that reason. It's just a clown shouting into a microphone about how great he wishes he was over the top of a pre-recorded track. That's not good music.

He has an entire solo album. Personally, Migos have been one of my favorite groups and it sucks that they're clowning him but rappers have hurt themselves by not performing or showing up late. Free mixtapes sent rap music on a spiral downward. Now, it attracts fans that don't want to pay, which caused labels to spend less money on talent, which make shows trash.

Never been to a rock show that was empty, idk if that shows how loyal band fans are or that they simply know their audience and don't book big venues.
Many rappers and the fans are toxic asl. That’s why many of em struggle to sell out
In general there’s only a select few acts that can sell arenas, even more rare are the ones that can sell out stadiums.
Problem is, if you‘re embarrassed, you‘re the one who‘s embarrassing. Why not be a pro and have fun with your small crowd size? Why not take the opportunity to do stuff you normally don‘t do?
While it‘s definitely not great to perform at a 3/4 empty venue, take it as it is and show pride, not pettiness. By walking off you‘re displaying arrogance towards those who are there and they‘ll remember that. You‘ll lose even more fans.
Make jokes, play songs you usually wouldn‘t, invite the people to come up, have conversations with them, share more than you usually would … you know, some artists perform at times under pseudonyms to get to play in more cosy environments.
Don‘t be a baby, be a pro and turn things around to your advantage! So, good on Quavo to continue the show … the show must go on!

I went to this one show in oakland where they had 21 savage. Half the group was his entourage and they sectioned off half the venue as VIP red line section only. No one was in the VIP section almost all of the regular folks were at the other half at the bar. Eventually they took out the VIP red line and let everyone in once they realized there was no VIPS.
