real talk though its always fun when a medium decides that your a light mech and they can take you in a headon fight. Also had times where assaults retreat from a rac5 urbie
@Diogenes TheDog recently made a build light 170 engine ac 20 4 tons of ammo and all armor distributed between right arm torso center and legs. It's a bit squishy but not terrible as long as you poke or stick with assaults. Got 4 kills in 1 match with it. With quirks and skills it fires every 2.75 seconds
I love my Urbies, but I think the Commando is the toughest light mech. I shoot those things over and over and over and the armor barely changes color. Yeah, the hitboxes are broken, but it makes them the toughest to bring down IMO.
For a challenge should run standard “ tabletop “ version of Urbie. No engine upgrade, standard loadout .can skill up anyway you want and shoot for high damage , kills not needed ,but bonused. Surviving while engaged is an award also.😂
I'm running the one with both ams and ecm and 5 medium lasers. It works pretty well as a pack runner covering others with laser ams and speeding up gang up kills. I'm not an experienced player and it allows me to get more damage than any of my previous builds.
Yay, it's Urbie time! Though I personally prefer the 3 MPL + 3 HMG build for the R63--especially since with two of the MPLs in the torso it can come as a nasty surprise to players who disarm me and think I'm now a stick.
your not kidding about it being mini assault, last week i was in a conquest match capping and ran into an urbie doing the same i did 360 damage and he was the only mech i shot
UAC20 Shadowcat challenge: must be in a shadow cat and must equip UAC20. The goal is to kill someone in one alpha. You can bring any other equipment as long as you have the UAC20.
This combined with your 0 armor jaeger build made me decide to try something that might make a good challenge build urbie with a light engine 170 4 tons of ammo and an ac20 remaining weight is put into the right arm torso and center torso only. rest of the mech is stripped of armor
Talking about lack of. What about the Firestarter? :P it'd be cool to see a meme build of just trying to get the enemies to shut down with the flamers and back stabbing them
FYI: You could try using the mouse without the logitech software. The game picks up additional mouse buttons on its own and at least for me (on the G602) the buttons work faster and more reliably without the overhead of the software.
I love the good lod urbie, maybe a challenge: stock engine and a kill from behind in an urbie and being alive at the end of the game (or be the last the last one in your team)
Recently got back into playing Urbies after a hiatus from MWO, and I’m actually enjoying it quite a bit (despite often being the first to die). Stupid question; anyone got any good builds for the missile Urby (can’t remember its designation)?
Are you referring to the UM-AIV? There's only one loadout worth the Urbie, and that's the UrbanMech armed with a nuclear tipped Arrow IV! Other than that, the only other missile toting Urbie is the -68, and I'd go with SRM6's.
Bara's Urby: *Removes both side-torsos of a Cyclops*
Standard-engine Cyclops: IT'S JUST A FLESH WOUND!
"It's a good thing I'm driving a trash can BECAUSE TODAY IS GARBAGE DAY!"
Urby never skips arm day
Does skip leg day :)
52 leg armor look skiped to you?
The Urbie is the only mech you will need. I once heard of an Urbie Pilot who singlehanded killed 2 Assault Lances without a scratch!

I have police lights on my urbie!

Hey Baradul what is the best configuration for a Urbanmech hero from the Solaris 7 hero pack ?

Urbie is love! Urbie is life!
Pocket assault mech!

Jump around, jump around. Jump up jump up and get down!
Am I really controlling it? Honest now.

Gotta love the Urbie!

Since you did a no armour jager, you should have no problem doing a stock urban match...
That -2.5 engine makes the mech.

love the urbie i put 3 light ppcs, and 1 10 mrm on r68 havent played in a year so trying to skill it up

Great video! Urban mech is very fun when you set it up right. Thanks for showing us it's power.
Excuse me but...96 unopened supply caches?
dual mrm 10 + 3 er medium is what i wanna try for an urbiebuild .. rather em more of a light engine user than xtralight ...

Baradul, gotta change your mouse....
Urbanmech, I love this little trash can!
That's one angry trash can for sure.
THE URBANMECH IS GOD!
Baradul, you need a new mouse.
my mouse, its broken
Yay urbi!! I like to keep it balanced with 3 mpl and heavy mg.. but still wanna see the 60 standard engine urbi challenge!!
YESSSS
why your weapon sounds so diffrent?
He uses a mod pack. Check the discription
Perfection
"Actually this guy looks like he's running XL, and he is."
THIS is why you never, ever go IS XL. Point proven.
Never on heavies or assaults anyways. A lot of lights and mediums benefit from XL.
are you using a custom sound pack?
