You picked up some wonderful glass. Thank for sharing your video with us all.your friend Shirley from new Bern, north Carolina USA.❤❤❤❤😮🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉❤❤❤❤😅😊
Love your art projects! You are so creative, thank you for some time at the beach today. ❤
Thanks ever so much for your kind comment :)
Beautiful finds today, and it doesn’t seem as windy as it has been. Wonderful beach walk😊. Nicole, love your new art projects ! Have a great week!❤
The storm tides have brought a lot of lovely history to the surface and you had a wellie marbalous good time at the beach....still getting snow over here in Canada
Yes the storms really have turned the beach upside down , so we are able to find pieces that were probably buried in sand for years :)
Hello
Anyone else find themselves tapping on their screen says, right here, right here, don’t leave that piece😊❤ As always, I love your content and treasures.
Donna, I know what you mean. I do it all the time, along with yelling, to. Sometimes, I think my neighbors wonder what is going on in place! 😊 🇨🇦
There are so many treasures there that it's hard to decide what to take and what to leave and sometimes we don't even see all the pieces until Craig edits the video :)
Your picture was awesome & so creative!! Loved it!! ❤ always enjoy your art work & videos!!
Thank you very much! Glad you enjoyed it :)
Beautiful art project. You are very talented Nicole
Hi Craig and Nicole! Another fabulous video! Lots of bits and bobs to be found today. The sun trying to peek through the grey sky, the sound of the waves on the shore and the lovely choice of music, too. Your pretty craft project as well, Nicole. All these things make your video so wonderful.
Thanks so much Sheila! The skies are stunning in winter, although it's cold but just looking up and breathing the fresh sea air in, is a treat :)
Enjoyed walking along the beach with you both!
I really love your videos and always look forward to them each week, and will even rewatch episodes. That beach really does have so many treasures, and I also appreciate how you explain the burns and what the water and tides are doing unique to your area. Thanks so much!
Aww thanks ever so much for your kind comment :) Glad you are enjoying our videos !
I love your trips to Kirkaldy Beach, and look forward to seeing what pottery sherds you find there.
Hi 👋🏼 Craig and Nicole, happy to see you two! Your art project is so clever and beautiful. Many lovely colors of sea glass and pottery! Have a fantastic weekend ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️💜
Thanks so much Susan! I realyl enjoyed making the art pieces this week :)
😉😉😉Hey you two. A hot chocolate is never wrong, I can not drink tea (then I have to run to the toilet all night) So nice that you are able to be outside at this time a year, no snow🤔🤔I like your clean beaches and you are always finding something. I love those pottery-pieces🙏🙏 I WISH I had been walking there with you to LOVELY people. I hope when I remove I can find some better beaches then here. Thank you for all those lovely pieces of pottery, soooo many you found this time.💖💖WOW, I have to comment that beautiful picture you made, you are so talented and I went sad, because I am shaking to much to do small things. WOW again Nicole!!!
Your picture of 💐 🌹 🌸 are simply lovely. Thanks for taking me along on this lark.
Thanks so much Peggy! I really enjoyed making the art pieces :)
Yay good to see you both
Hi Amy :)
I loved all the finds. Pottery was so pretty. And the art work is really pretty and what a great idea! Fun time hunting 😊
Thanks so much! Glad you enjoyed the art work, it was so much fun making it :)
I just love Kirkcaldy, I find something different every time I go. I've found half clay marbles in the burn before so it's very cool you found a marble. Your art work is very fab also! I like making things out of what I find too (usually for myself though).
I was very happy with that clay marble! I seem to be finding clay marbles at the moment ;) Glad you are enjoying the video !
Wonderful day!👋
We are so blessed :)
You are doing so well with the marbles - and it’s only the first week in February!😍
Very happy with the marbles, seem to have a wee lucky streak for clay marbles this week :)
Hi Craig and Nicole so many pretty pieces
We are really spoilt by this beach :)
Your beach glass art is great but the water looks very cold! 🥶 Thanks for risking frozen hands for us.
The burn is very cold, maybe around 10 C , so there is a right chill in there ! You can feel the cold through the wellies ;)
Got caught by the tide on the sandbank in kdy last summer. The 3 of us taking our shoes off and laughing our heads off while wading back to dry beach likely gave many people down there a laugh that day, one dog walker did actuallly jokingly comment he was ready for phoning coastguard haha!!
You always have to have your whits about you - at least you were able to get out and just wade to shore :) The beach changes with every tide!
@ The water was mid calf depth so we were fine haha and all 3 of us can swim so we weren’t concerned and found it hilarious. As a child who grew up in Dysart I can honestly say I put myself in much more dangerous situations with the sea so am well aware of how quickly tides can catch you off guard, especially on the Fife coast 👀🌊
Another great video. Thank you for sharing. Just wondering if you've ever posted a video on how you clean your pottery? I've pick out bits of pottery from our local river when I do riverfly monitoring surveys, but I can never can get them really clean. So any tips would be welcome
We showed how to clean beach potter within a video from Kirkcaldy but haven't made a stand alone video. We use a little plastic tub, line that with aluminium foil , put pottery in and add lemon juice until it covers the pottery. Leave 24 hours, put pottery in water and leave for a few days ( change water ) - then let dry!
Thank you so much. I don't think I've found that video, I'll keep looking out for it when I watch some of the older ones. Thank you @@scottishmudlarking
Hahahaha. The only reason I know that song is because my sister was in the US Navy and was stationed in Scotland and she shared many silly Scottish songs with me. :-)
Hahah the Welly Song is a good one and Billy Connolly is such a funny man :)
Thank you so much for your hard work at the beaches 🫶🏻 really appreciate it and I can almost smell the sea❣️
Hahah that's funny :) Hope your neighbours don't hear you!
