Your mother is so blessed to have such a lovely dear daughter and companion such a joy watching you two and mudlarking by proxy in such beautiful areas of England
This is Mother's Day here in the USA and I found this video and thought I would rewatch it as a Mother's Day gift to myself. It is one of my favorites. Alex give your mom/mum a big hug from me for Mother's Day. Even though I could be her Mom. Love you girls, be safe! 🥰
You are two beautiful people inside and out! I lost my mom to a hear attack when I was age 20 , so I miss my mother so much , it does my heart so good to see the fun things that you do together. Thank you so much! Hope you both have a joyful and happy New Year! Hugs and love from the USA ! Look forward to the next video ladies!!!❤️🤗
Ericka Poppe Sorry about your mom...that must be hard even now. I recently lost my mother and even though she was very old, it’s hard. She’d been there all my life!
Oh WOW! Two very beautiful ladies finding fantastic items on the beach working together in harmony. 👍👌👏 Thanks a lot for making teaching recording editing uploading and sharing. Best regards luck health and wisdom.

Hello from Florida - a very different type of beach and beachcombing. Because we are a limestone and sand peninsula, I am drawn to areas with rocks and rocky beaches. Being a native Floridian, I hardly saw a real "rocks" until I traveled out of state on my teens. My family also shared a love of "mudlarking", for bottles, but also Indian and early Spanish artifacts so I enjoy all that too in your videos. Keep up the good work and give us more history of these places if you can. Happy 2020!
May I just add how fitting it is for the hostess of a channel, so rich in history, would choose to wear a Tricorn hat while relaxing. You two think of everything. Love it.
I am so delighted to have found this channel! Gail and Alex, you are some of the most pleasant people to spend time following: adventurous, interesting, peacefully cheery. And what a beautiful bag of treasures you came up with! I am not going to guess a number because I look forward to going out and combing for some glass myself sometime soon, over on the Oregon Coast. It's a two hour drive, but you have inspired me. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you, Ladies.
We have so much fun watching your videos. What a wonderful mother/daughter team you are. Thank you for all the positive smiles and giggles you send out into the world. We are guessing 75 pieces of glass.
Whenever I need a break, or to watch something that I enjoy I just turn on your channel. Does not disappoint! I love being outside. Thanks for all your hard work!
The cat footage was my favorite in this video!! He makes me feel warm and festive. Loved all the scenery shots too. :) My guess is 78, ladies. Thank you for bringing joy to the world!!
Hello ladies. Alex, the ability to change someone's mood from melancholy to cheerful with their smile and a simple hello is a rare and wonderful attribute. You and my wife share this quality. Merry Christmas and a happy, healthy new year to you both.
You two easily have become my favorite channel! Lots of history, lots of intriguing information! love how exited Alex gets over bottles, beads, and sea glass... Cannot wait to see your reaction if you find a complete onion bottle! Ha! As for the glass jar I’ll take a crack at guessing, I’ll say 130 pieces! Amazing finds ladies, would watch you over program tv any day! Keep it up!
I just came across this video recently, 21.55 reminds me of a blue obsidian sphere. I’m a big fan of crystal gems. These sea glass pieces are stunning.❤️🌺
Hello! Our sea glass giveaway competition is now CLOSED. Thank you to all who have taken part and GOOD LUCK! The winners will be announced on New Year's day so keep your eyes peeled for the results! All correct guesses will be put into a hat and drawn on camera. Deadline for entries was 12 pm (GMT) on the 30th of December 2019.
Northern Mudlarks what an absolute joy to wake up on Boxing Day morning and see a notification you have posted a video. So with tea and toast in hand wearing my new fluffy slippers and pjs, and settle in to watch your Christmas Day video of white haven. Thank you for your hard work getting this video out to us, love watching you ladies finding some beautiful pieces of pottery and sea glass today. Merry Christmas and happy new year to you both, have a wonderful day can't wait to see your next video in the new year
Northern Mudlarks I love beach glass and have found some on the California beaches here. I watch Nicola from Tideline Mudlarks and spotted your video and decided to take a look! So I’m a new subscriber. What fun you two had! My guess for the jar of sea glass is: 50 pieces! Good luck to all who enter!!
Oooh! I would guess 105 pieces of glass in your jar. It’s fascinating to see how the sea processes our trash into treasure! Living where you do, you find so much treasure as people have been manufacturing things and discarding things for centuries. We have finally moved to the ocean, but in a place where not much manufacturing waste has met the ocean. Any glass I find is still quite sharp and new, and I take it home and discard it as we have a grandchild who likes to play on the ocean shore. This town was built just in the 1960’s, so our finds are more organic in nature; rocks, shells, wood. I enjoy the gentle pace of your videos! Thank you!
Well, this was such an interesting episode, but I do find it all quite fascinating! Pretty on the beach and pretty in the jar! I’ll guess 54 pieces. Thanks for taking us all along with you!
Wow! What an amazing selection-so many big pieces! I’m guessing that there are 63 pieces in the jar. Thank you for sharing your find-whoever is lucky enough to win! Merry Christmas!
Happy New year. Looks like you had lots of fun. It's nice to see such a great relationship between mother and daughter. Looking forward to more of your adventures
The Carol of the Bells is my favourite, it has such a feeling of movement in it. Horsedrawn Sleighs dashing over snow, skating, or women with big dresses dancing. Guessing 69 pieces of sea-glass.
This is the very best video you have done yet! Matching the music to your location and the great scenery is spot on. Love that you both are willing to try new locations together. Also, always looking out for one another is very sweet and a kind gesture. May your New year be ever so much luck to you and your shops too. Blessings. Oh and the jar contains 47 pieces of goodies? ☺️🎆🎉
Hope you both had a wonderful Christmas and Boxing day. My guess for the glass jar would be 67 pieces. Love the videos. It is beautiful to see a mother and daughter so enjoying each other's company. I hope that 2020 proves to be a successful year for the both of you.
I knoooooow!! I live somewhere where there are hardly any interesting rocks to be found, so it’s terribly tragic that all the gorgeous rocks didn’t go home with these wonderful women!
Actually, u r not supposed to take rocks home. If everybody would bag them, then nature will change due to corrosion and loss of wildlife habitat. Also, why destroy it instead leave it for others to enjoy. Same with wild flowers, u would not pick them but leave them for the bees and other tourists to enjoy. Same with divers, they should not take according to PADI rules anythimg from the natural environment. And so on
You ladies are lovely, and it is such a treat to watch your enthusiasm. My guess is that there are about 117 pieces of seaglass in the jar. What an beautiful collection.
Your hunt for sea glass was very successful and interesting. My guess is 101 pieces of sea glass in your jar. Your home was decorated beautiful inside very festive and creative. May you both enjoy a very healthy and happy blessed New Year. Al, NJ USA
I love going on your outings with you it makes me want to go out and collect old bottles need to find me an old sight loving you both from fortworth texas

Happy Christmas and very best wishes for 2020. I have really enjoyed watching all your videos this year. My guess for the beautiful sea glass is 83. Thank you x
I'm going to guess 104. I'm so jealous of your mudlarking trips. The glass found here is so tiny, smaller than the smallest bits you picked up, but finding a piece of beach glass is on my bucket list. My husband is taking me to Northern California in April and I have everything crossed that I find my very own piece. I'm going to be so incredibly disappointed if I don't.
Hi Janet....on your trip to Northern California may I suggest that you stop by and see some of our beautiful Redwoods...there are some groves by Santa Cruz ....Big Basin..... enjoy!
PS you can also get some really nice whole Sand Dollars at the end of Geary St. In San Francisco....take your shoes off and roll up your pants...the best ones are in two feet of water! Just at the end of Geary.
Merry Christmas and thank you for sharing your mudlarking adventures with us. I'm guessing 54 pieces of seaglass. So pretty. Love your sweet fireside kitty! Cheers!
Well! That first rock you picked up is Very much like rocks over here in mid-coast Maine! And WOW!!! All the amazing booty! What a great video- you must have had a blast ; ) And your vids are getting better and better every time, so good on you both. You winning personalities are the icing on the cake! Have a lovely holiday, and I look forward to seeing you in the new year!
Merry Christmas from a Liverpudlian mudlark on the banks of the great river Mersey! Hope you and your family have a lovely Christmas and new year keep safe from one northern mudkark to two other. Regards Nick.

Lovely finds my friends!!!! Love the beautiful sea glass and awesome cod bottle marbles!!!! I have never seen any glass with wire in it here in the USA😮😮 Your adventures are so awesome I love watching you ladies!!!🤗🤗🤗🤗 Merry Christmas and please have a awesome new year!!!! - Peter Ga USA
You should sell your sea glass because it is very beautiful, and it makes me happy to see there is no garbage sitting on the beach :), have a great night/day!
There is glass in La Jolla, shell beach, and children’s beach- (the biggest pieces) the beaches are all close together. There is great glass in San Diego! P.S the glass isn’t super well worn but still beautiful!
Oh, I am so jealous! I love beach combing so much, but am unable to do it very easily now because of my physical limitations. I love being able to at least go beach combing vicariously through your videos. Thank you!
That was beautifully done! Love the scenery and music. Your videos keep getting better and better and I’m always happy when I see notification of a new one.
cold hands ooh! I remember those! I was digging out a square water retainer of a 16th-century monastery tailors shop it was umpteen degrees below my comfort zone and this water and mud was even colder but I was finding so many brass and even gold and silver pins I had to go on finally at the bottom lefthand corner I found a huge 40 pounds pin loaf with thousands of pins congealed into this loaf on this site I also found some 16th-century Italian glass marbles with beautiful color swirls inside them I guess dutch monasteries were very rich even the school class toys where posh! I donated the pin loaf and 50% of the marbles to our local museum 50% of the other finds I sold and the other half I still have.
still had no time making my video for you but it is going to premiere before the end of the year or beginning of January of I have lots of old bottles lined up from 2 17th century ones to a Codd bottle and its modern Japanese version as well as the 1880s waterjug and lemonade bottle from the 1930s if all goes well I might have a taste of lemonade from the 30s prepared with 1880s water!
Wow! You two are the BEST! My whole family looks forward to your videos it is by far the most enjoyable television we watch. We greatly appreciate you including us on your lovely adventures. To be honest it has inspired us to take a family trip to GB in February. Going to try and make a few of our own adventures. Our guess is 78. Thanks again. We already felt like we have won.😊
good eye on that thermometer glass piece. On the stone that looked like cooked salmon, take a look at mudfossil university here on YT. Wishing you a Blessed holiday season.
Hi, At a guess, 157 glass pieces in the jar. Really have enjoyed your videos this year. It is amazing what you can find washed up on a beach. It is clever how you turn these pieces of glass and stone into jewellery items. Best wishes for Christmas and the new year..
New subscribers. Found your channel today. It was lovely to spend time with the two of you collecting sea glass. There is nothing more relaxing than strolling along a beach collecting bits n bobs. The colours of some are stunning and would make a great art piece. I think there are 127 pieces of glass in the jar. What a great idea for a competition. Stay safe x

Well, Merry Christmas Ladies! How dreadful to think we have to wait for a while to see another video of you lovely ladies on the hunt for treasures. But there's nothing you can do about the cold weather, is it? Oh my God. Mussel Heaven. If I was there, I would grab a hundred or so and cook some with some garlic butter. " I'm a little nugget," That got a little chuckle out of me, too. Great minds think alike, don't they? If it was me, I would take the bloody lot. All the sea glass you can find. You can glue together a beautiful mosaic with that stuff! Your kitty looked so comfortable lying by the fire. That's what I'd like to be doing right about now! You have a lovely home that's so beautifully decorated. Thank you for the awesome videos over the last few months. It's been so fun watching you comb the beaches. I hope you had a wonderful Christmas and have a Happy and Prosperous New Year! I want that jar, so I'm going to guess 62 pieces in there. Right? Am I right? I hope so! Bye for now.
I so love the little surprises the sea leaves on the beaches. Mostly shells and unfortunately plastic pieces on Texas beaches, yours are so very tidy. My guess is 52.

It’s nice to see for a chance no plastic or rubbish on the beech
We visited a few beaches in Whitehaven and they all had very little rubbish. We only found a few small pieces of plastic for the bin actually!
Dear lovely @@NorthernMudlarks Ladies.

Hello from Florida - a very different type of beach and beachcombing. Because we are a limestone and sand peninsula, I am drawn to areas with rocks and rocky beaches. I've found it in Fort Bragg, CA and in Santa Cruz, CA. It's fun to find!
I’ve found safety glass in New Orleans, along the Mississippi.
You should sell your sea glass because it is very beautiful, and it makes me happy to see there is no garbage sitting on the beach :), have a great night/day!
We sell it in our shop - link in about section xx
Thank you so much! :D
I wish I could find sea glass that easily here in California.
Fort Bragg...and in the winter the little rocks wash up on the beach and sea glass is in there. Good luck from So. Cal.
Thank you!
A beach glass comber from the Pacific Northwest says “happy days” and yea !
Me too from San Juan Islands in Puget Sound, Washington 🎊
Hi,
At a guess, 157 glass pieces in the jar. Really have enjoyed your videos this year. It is amazing what you can find washed up on a beach. It is clever how you turn these pieces of glass and stone into jewellery items.
Best wishes for Christmas and the new year..
Real love pice off potter that has a great look in your pendant
New subscribers. Found your channel today. It was lovely to spend time with the two of you collecting sea glass. There is nothing more relaxing than strolling along a beach collecting bits n bobs. The colours of some are stunning and would make a great art piece. I think there are 127 pieces of glass in the jar. What a great idea for a competition. Stay safe x

So addictive looking for sea glass - My daughter loves looking for it and I her old father tag along. Southampton water has a lot not as much variety. Your are a charming duo.
Loved those Victorian ink pots with the hand dipped candles😍. I live in North Carolina, USA. Is it possible to order one? Do you have an Esty Shop?

It seems the young lady doesn't like red. Many times she passed by or returned the red pieces back to the beach.

All the little stones i would’ve taken back with me 🥺🥺🥺
I would take the whole beach
@@thegalaticalfox2354 hahaha same, and if I get thirsty I would drink the whole sea 🤣
I so love the little surprises the sea leaves on the beaches. Mostly shells and unfortunately plastic pieces on Texas beaches, yours are so very tidy.
My guess is 52.

Very nice glass haul,. I like to wander beaches and hunt for sea glass. 61 pieces of glass in the jar.
My grandaughters loved this vid, you must go back to that beach again. 80 pieces perhaps. Happy new year!
sweet girls, I watched your Christmas program and was su]raised at how much sea glass you found. I would like to guess that the jar might weigh one and one-forth pound.
